You get what you pay for, the room was clean with a new bathroom. Breakfast was good value for money.
The dining room was a bit of a barn.
It was too noisy. There were bunch of young people who were making very loud banging noise while other residents trying to sleep. I just finished five nights sleep all I wanted was a quiet time.
This is a hostel not a hotel. Its in a horrible rough area of town, the staff werent helpful at all, room was tiny and smelled rotten! Id honestly rather sleep in my car than stay here again! Avoid at all costs!
Staffs were NOT helpful. Drain problem in the shower room. It said wi-fi was only at the reception and i couldn't get any wi-fi.
Location - that was it!
Everything. Really needs a refurb. It's very shabby - and not in a good way!!!
The location of the hotel is good with proximity to transport facilities.
The hotel is too crowded n the ambience was poor. Also the room was too small for a triple and not well cleaned. Bathroom was dirty with hair in the sink and no towels
Staff service at the counter is good and friendly.
Except the staff service at the counter is good and friendly, I don't like anything else at the hotel, the room and the bathroom condition was very poor, I will never ever booking with this hotel again.
Room was clean,and had aircon
We was given the wrong room twice, too many men hanging around outside the hotel n in reception.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable
The toilet failed to flush on several occasions. The service at breakfast can only be described as chaotic. One gentleman who brought us our cooked breakfast however should be commended, as he knew exactly what he was doing and was extremely polite. More staff are needed in this area to maintain order and civility.
Our room was clean
The room was tiny and it really smelt. It was like stale cigarette smoke covered by cleaning products. It had a tiny window at knee level that lead out onto a flat roof which had cigarette butts, a broken mirror and building material all over. When we arrived, the front steps of the hotel and the foyer had groups of people hanging around it. It was exceptionally busy and none of them were English. The lift was in constant use so we had to walk 4 flights up the stairs. It had a strange atmosphere around the hotel which was quite uncomfortable. We arrived back at the hotel at 1am after the party for which was our purpose for travelling to London, and there were children hanging around in the corridors. At 7am on Sunday morning, there was music blaring from one room and foreign TV being played at a very loud level from at least two more rooms.
Nothing!! totally Appalled
Whole reception area was full day and night with foreign nationals being housed by this hotel. it was more like a hostel and therefore should have been advertised as a hostel and price reflect this. Very intimidating having atleast 30 men hanging around reception area, sitting on floors, walls and anywhere which had space.
Only the cost
No Hot water Telephone not working Not very helpful staff The lift is pathetic
Pizza meal was adequate
Noise, Hard Beds, Family Room over crowded, had double bed, single bed and a set of bunk beds squashed in, doors slammed up and down corridor, beer table right in front of window, had to leave card in slots to get electricity to work, tiles cracked on bathroom floor, shower area mould, pictures on web site showed lovely rooms, not basic rooms down in the Basement as we had, Overall very poor.
Car Park was safe ish...!!
List to long
Room was well appointed, bed comfortable, shower good, nice TV. Hotel near transport and restaurants. Easy to get into Central London.
the reception area and bar were like a noisy youth hostel. People sitting on the floor, no seats available because this was only area with wi-fi. You could not sit in the bar and have a quiet drink. Corridors very noisy at night. Vending machine broken, permanently?
On the hotel, it states that you room will have iron facilities and hair dryers etc. you had to pay extra for these and then iron burnt my buisness dress! Wifi is also terrible! My room was underground so outside builders were working till around 8!
The room was underground like most of them, false advertisement of facilities. Poor wifi and rude staff
We were thankful that they change the room after repeated request or we had to leave as room Number 903 in the basement was not suitable for living people or animal. Some one from health department should go and check the hotel rooms.
when me and wife arrived on 14th of August to the hotel in the night they gave us a room in the basement room number 903 Room had no windows it was all boarded and the toilet was smelly and damp imagine any one put in a damp smelly room with no ventilation It was a nightmare we requested for the room change but the reply was no room tonight. In the morning when we complaint they gave us room 58 which was fine but the receptionist on the desk on the morning of 15th with eastern European accent was very rude and said you should be thankful to us that we gave you another room we are very busy. Any way as we did pay in advance we were helpless .
-Pretty cheap. -The hotel's rooms have decent beds (the double beds are really just two singles bolted together), but that's about where the decency ends.
Labyrinthine. -The hotel is extremely poorly laid out, with a vast number of redundant staircases and hallways that lead to rooms with no discernible pattern in their numbering. -Check-in took almost half an hour, with desk clerks who appeared to not want to expedite the process at all. -The hair dryer in the bathroom had electrical cables that were shielded from any water with masking tape (not waterproof). -The window does not have any screen or security measures to protect it from the outside, with the exception of a loose window latch. -The air conditioners in the rooms are wholly inadequate and will not cool the room with two people sleeping in it. -Each room (my room and a friends') had a ground level window with construction going on outside of it, even though I was on the -1 level, and he was on the -3 level. -There are constantly people just sitting on the floor in the hallways, using electrical sockets, using the very sparing wireless internet, or just eating a full meal on one of the narrow stairways. -Hallways were poorly lit, with most having burned out lights. -Cleaning staff came in to clean the room even though a do not disturb sign had been left out. -Bar staff seemed bored with their job and only interested in playing exceedingly loud MTV on all of the TV's.
The bed are not confortable, needs to be change completely.
Queens hotel looks good on the outside, well painted and decorated but inside it stinks really bad, it's dirty and filthy, it's a real slum.
There is nothing to like about the hotel, it should be closed down, sold or handed over to a company that can use that space and turn into a 5 star luxury hotel
The first room we were allocated was awful. However, the stafff were amazing and upgraded our room to a family room which was clean and large. The beds were comfy and there was a sitting area.
The first room was horrendous and smelt of damp.
The staff were excellent.
The shower was fixed and found it difficult to wash my hair.
