The room was clean and the bed was comfortable
The toilet failed to flush on several occasions. The service at breakfast can only be described as chaotic. One gentleman who brought us our cooked breakfast however should be commended, as he knew exactly what he was doing and was extremely polite. More staff are needed in this area to maintain order and civility.
Our room was clean
The room was tiny and it really smelt. It was like stale cigarette smoke covered by cleaning products. It had a tiny window at knee level that lead out onto a flat roof which had cigarette butts, a broken mirror and building material all over. When we arrived, the front steps of the hotel and the foyer had groups of people hanging around it. It was exceptionally busy and none of them were English. The lift was in constant use so we had to walk 4 flights up the stairs. It had a strange atmosphere around the hotel which was quite uncomfortable. We arrived back at the hotel at 1am after the party for which was our purpose for travelling to London, and there were children hanging around in the corridors. At 7am on Sunday morning, there was music blaring from one room and foreign TV being played at a very loud level from at least two more rooms.
Only the cost
No Hot water Telephone not working Not very helpful staff The lift is pathetic
Car Park was safe ish...!!
List to long
Room was well appointed, bed comfortable, shower good, nice TV. Hotel near transport and restaurants. Easy to get into Central London.
the reception area and bar were like a noisy youth hostel. People sitting on the floor, no seats available because this was only area with wi-fi. You could not sit in the bar and have a quiet drink. Corridors very noisy at night. Vending machine broken, permanently?
The bed are not confortable, needs to be change completely.
The first room we were allocated was awful. However, the stafff were amazing and upgraded our room to a family room which was clean and large. The beds were comfy and there was a sitting area.
The first room was horrendous and smelt of damp.
The staff were excellent.
The shower was fixed and found it difficult to wash my hair.
Everything! Rabbit warren of rooms to the basement. Endless corridors reminiscent of The Shining. Staff banging on door at 9.30am. Dirty window sills, depressing interiors. Just horrible.
House plan, some rooms are very bad position
our room had been recently modernised bed was large and comfy room was on the small side but perfectly big enough for the few hours we were there.
people lingering around the lobby the efficiency of the staff
Everything especially the other guests
Look from outside and reception area.
Feeling very intimadated by people sitting ariubd on steps looking very strangely at my partner so nuch so ee avoided the bar area. Lots of decor problems carpets very dirty lots of buiders hanging around making it like a builders yard and not a hotel got woke up at 8 by builders working then got woke up at 9 by cleaners coming in room . The room itself was clean but ensuite very compact for an executive room when you sat on toilet your knees nearly touched the wall . Wouls not recommend to friends and we wiukd not stay again. Looks lovely from outside
The bedding was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful
English Breakfast was 7.95 and pretty awful. The breakfast staff had trouble understanding English. The room was shabby, but adequate. You get what you pay for!!!
Proximity to a train station and not too far from crystal palace bus park.
Free Wifi only available around the reception on thr ground floor which was always crowded.
There was a bed in the room. It is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel.
The room had a really bad smell in it. The room and corridors were filthy dirty. The bath tub in the room was dirty, the walls in the room were caked in grime and dirt. The shower head was broken, the door handle in the bathroom was broken. The bathroom door would not close. The windows had to be kept open because of the smell. The electricity socket was detached from the wall. This is an Awful hotel.
Location was good
Subterranean room very small and not convincingly clean.
very small bad for double room, it was a bad jock this hotel.
The staff need proper training
I can't remember liking anything in the hotel though I notice you are doing some work at the building
Everything it met all my standard requirements
I like the location, some of the staff, especial the men, very hospitable and welcoming.
I don't like the bathroom, because the toilet is choked, you have to squeeze your knee before you can toilet. Air conditioner (A/C) is required in the rooms in summer; and lastly arrival time should be between 10:00 and 12:00 noon
