Great value for money
This time had a radiator instead of air-con.
Abit like 18-30s or in this hotels case 18-64s contractors hotel especially on a Thursday night. The way some of them behave you'd expect to see the rainbow bus picking them up in the mornings.
cheap and adequate accommodation to get your head down.
hotel is a bit run down, first room was not made up with empty pizza boxes strewn around. However reception apologised and swapped for another room.
I found check in very quick. The staff were very pleasant and more than happy to help with extra requirements.nice quiet hotel although very busy.good location
No wifi on any floors.and having to pay for parking
Comfort and cleanliness of room
Check in was a problem. .given key to an already allocated room. Sorted quicklY though.
Everything. They gave us first room which wouldn't lock and smelt of smoke then they moved us to another room. Paid for exec suite got a room with 2 beds together. Had a horrible experience where our room was given to someone else while we where in the room and another couple walked in on us coming out of shower
free wifi, hot shower
Didn't bother me bc I was awake anyway, but there was a fair amount of noise travel between rooms.
Basics are spot on,warm rooms, clean sheets and towels, free wifi, good price
Some of the electric sockets in the rooms could be updated, some showers aren't powerful enough
Cold and rude staff . They need to know who the customer is
Parking space is to narrow can't open doors once parked, shower head broken, when asked for extra towels, was not given them at reception had to call down to reception, took 25 minutes before they arrived, stayed here on more than one occasion and every time the room is different in size but they are all to the same poor standards like the service at the hotel
Everything; staff, bathroom, shower, bed, bar, manager and more
Location is excellent. Rooms are comfortable.Bathroom clean. Everything suited my purpose on visit. Will stay again.
The 'so called' hotel was suitable and filled with workmen/traders and the place stank with cigarettes, even though we asked for a none smoking room. The room I booked was a double, but we were given a room with 4 single beds. The room was inadequate with the walls smashed in and dented. We finally got a double bed where the lights weren't working. and the mattress was stained and sunk in the middle, so my boyfriend and I would roll into the middle. But what really annoyed me was the first point of contact from the reception. The customer services was appalling, where they did not acknowledge me, as a women as the receptionist approached the man before me and the man clearly came after me, which both of them knew. When I was to pay for the room I handed the other receptionist my card and he then handed MY CARD to my boyfriend who was standing slightly behind me. My boyfriend then said out loud, 'here's your card, as you paid for it!' But the receptionist was clearly unaware of what he did! We were in utter disbelief. They clearly do not recognise women! This "hotel" is poor in EVERY way!
Crystal Palace is a nice area, if maybe a little run down. Plenty of character though. I really only used the hotel as a base so for that purpose it suited me fine.
Room window wouldn't close properly.Shower wasn't great. Some younger guests were a bit boisterous to say the least....but you get what you pay for!
The room was a good size, bed was comfortable and nice shower room.
Don't like harsh spot lights in ceiling. Could do with a softer side lamp. Phone wasn't working, had to go down to reception to ask anything as no written information in the room.
Not enough parking
Clean room and good value. Certainly not the Ritz but fine for an overnight stay, when all you need is a clean bed, toilet and shower!
It was cheap
It's out of date the room had 1 plug and all the others capped off so for 2 people with phones to charge was hard
As a couple sharing a double bed we found the bed quite narrow.
i would not reccomend this hotel
Poor decoration, nasty smell from toilet, no plug for sink, noisy people next door, too much slamming of doors, unable to close the door with out putting weight behind it,had to boil kettle on the floor, only one packet of sugar for tea,
Facilities were basic but functional. Great place for an overnight stay.
Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Was given a room that had not been cleaned after the last occupant! After complaining to reception, a cleaner room was provided.
Quick check-in. Asked not to be disturbed as would be sleeping during the day and that was done. Fresh towels left outside room Unlike a lot of other hotels I have stayed in for a lot more money.
A Very long walk to my room up and down some narrow staircases in my case I kno I only payed £37 a night but maybe employ somebody for this as your hotel is massive and some people may find this difficult.
Good Value and convenient. In fact the Wifi is free!
On two visits there I found that the milk sachets in the room were off. Reported it but no difference.
It was comfortable.
