It's not a joke, but the only positive note was just a girl who works at the bar. She's from Latvia, very beautiful and friendly. Only on sunday she wasn't at work and I couldn't have taken a cold bottle of water, because the bar was closed!!!!??? Incredible...Also the receptionists, two or three girls, maybe from Romania ,have tried to do their best, but I think they miss a good work station and a professional manager It's been one of the worst experience of my life. I had never seen nothing so poor an unorganized. I changed 3 rooms(!!!) in a week , and I think everything are out of law in there. First room didn't have hot water!!! The second had the toilet broken and some water went out, the third without television (it there was but without ant so....). I really thought to expose that to some authority, because they made us very uncomfortable and maybe in a possible trouble too, in fact the fire alarm system was broken, obviously ....they use the only lift, both for customers and staff..and I think I can make a long list of everything there's wrong. The best way to make me forget this nightmare would be refunding my money, if not at all at least 50% |

The hotel was in a convenient position and the facilities were good. The rooms were nicely cleaned. The bathroom desperately needed upgrading as this I felt let it down a little. One of the receptionist certainly needed to work on his customer skills the other one was excellent. |

Good value for money. Car park available for guests. Nice view from breakfast room. Very basic facilities, very thin walls, could literally hear everythig said and done in neighbouring rooms. Long way outside certal London. |

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable and breakfast was enjoyable however I feel that the bathrooms need a complete revamp. They are dated and in need of improvement. |

The price (only 30 quid per night) , the staff, no noise, secured car parking, I liked the room was not very small (related to the money I paid). The location, The breakfast was good but needs improvement, the door of the toilet has no locker (not convenient to me), I did not like the design of the hotel and how to get to my room. |

We used the Queens Hotel as a base for touring central London, for which it was perfectly adequate Could have been cleaner, though I wouldn't say it was dirty. My wife asked for the hairdryer that was advertised as being in the room (along with the alleged trouser press!) 3 times and still didn't get one! I was surprised to find there was no wardrobe, or even a coathook in the room although there was a fridge and a cooker! My only personal gripe was that they didn't have marmalade for the breakfast, which didn't really bother me, I was just a little surprised. Most of the staff were apathetic and disinterested. I also had to park on the street two nights out of four as car park was full. |

The exterior of this huge victorian building gave one the impression of a posh and grand hotel. We booked a delux double room but were given a basic room with no seating area/sofa. Our several request and follow up for a Delux rooom was to no avail though we stayed for 10 nights as we were asked to pay in advance upon check-in.. Water was leaking through the celing into the bathroom. We got wet several times and the problem remained unsolved the day we left. |
