The location was convenient for trips into the city. The manager was very obliging and responded efficiently and politely to our complaints. The broken bed, the television that didn't work, the unclean bathroom and the noisy guests during the night during our first stay; and the difficulty finding the basement room through a labyrinth of stairs, doors, corridors and a courtyard while carrying heavy luggage during our second stay. The breakfast consisted of toast and cornflakes.

Absolutely and utterly nothing at all! Everything from the entry into the hotel to checking out. Staff were argumentative and rude, rooms were flee pits, really noisy with kids and dss running round till 4 am and a cab company in basement coming and going all night. How you call this place a hotel is a joke!! Save your money and go elsewhere

It was clean and convenient. I wasn't at all happy with the room. It was a basement room but there was no window in either the bedroom or the bathroom; I am sure this is a health and sefety issue? It also said on my booking bath & shower but their was no bath. When we queried this the reception staff were quite ignorant and said that no rooms had baths?? I knew this was a lie as the guest next to me told me so. I got the impression that the room was a converted staff room. Its number was not listed in the hotel but was stuck on the door with a piece of paper.

Cheap, easy to find and free parking. A 15 min walk to the nearest station and as such only 20 mins from the centre of London Pretty noisy, Terrible breakfast and the rooms are in desperate need of some tlc The Bathroom is a joke as is the shower (or dribble to be accurate)The whole hotel has a run down feel to it but it is a budget hotel after all and for the money I wasn't expecting the Ritz

Not much too noisey, too old, bath too high & old to get in for shower. No hand held shower need, grab bars, as I am slightley disabled. We stayed two nights, enough for me. Did not have breakfast to far in the basement to go! You need too accomadate for the elderly. As above read....

Ok for the price, When I stayed it was the tv digital switch over which has been planned for years. On the night of the switch over my tv went off and when I complained they said it would be upgraded, when I asked when they could only say soon!!!

It was central and cheap and the staff were friendly. There was no televison service in the rooms and the public areas had too many people. The wifi service was also very weak and you spent time looking for non existent hot spots.

staff at the reception was excellent !!! breakfast was by far the worst breakfast I have got so far, you should do something with that really. This is not the first time I stay at your hotel - basically in last 2 years I have been there 8 times but the breakfast is getting worse and worse. If this happen once again I will stop making reservation because you can find hotels in the same price with better breakfast in Central London.

Nothing much to like about it. but rooms were a good size, plenty of room. Free internet wouldnt work for us and the paid for internet at seven pounds an hour was just about useless. Phone in the room but didnt have a plug on the end of the wire that was hanging from the phone.. Television only worked off an indoor aerial and reception was not worth watching and had to turrn tbe TV off every ten minutes because the sound would jusst die. There was no bedside readng lamps and the bed was pushed so tight up against the wall that the persoon sleeing on that side of the bed had to climb over the other person to get out of the bed or back in the bed. Not all power points were working and there was absolutely nowhere to hang your clothes on or any surface large enough in the bathroom. to put any toiletries on.

Free parking was useful. View from our window was lots of discarded bed frames and the entire hotel was covered in scaffolding. However, it may have just been having some work done during our visit and be fine the rest of the time.
