Bed was small double while they said its double, it was not comfort at all, and I have got nick and back pain. Shower is poor, it didn't work. too much noise from the next street and other guests, and a man knocked my door stated that he has been given the same room! then he went to reception to discuss it. We are really dissatisfied!
The hotel was ok for the price we paid.
The bed was lumpy so not very comfortable, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't too bad
food could be better
The room was impressive, all done out new and modern bathroom was very clean!! We stayed 2 nights was more than impressed! Whoever slates this hotel must be a competetor! Its in a nice area close to tube/ pubs. Really enjoyed our stay!
The bed was uncomfortable and was very noisey
Staff offered to upgrade our room to Premier after saying we were going less than 20mins after arriving. We went home.
Access not disable friendly. Long queue to book in. Room not the same as shown in the on-line booking. Bed hard. Duvet like a sheet.
loud- no respect of people sleeping. front door not secured staff could not recommend any restaurants.
Reception staff was helpful to get travel info for me.
No soap or shampoo was provided in the bathroom. I had to ask for it. I was told to come to reception to get it.
The hotel is ideal if you just want someone to lay your head and then see the rest of London. The train station is a 10 minute walk away from hotel with local shops where could buy food or have breakfast or lunch or dinner.
The bed was uncomfortable, you could feel it was two single beds pushed together to make a double. Not every day the sheets were changed. Parking outside the hotel or within the hotel is very very limited as places very busy.
The location was very good and there was on-site parking (at an extra cost). We had problems with the shower and a member of staff was there to help within 5 minutes. A good, basic, clean 2 star hotel. Don't expect anything more than that.

Shower Poor flashing toilet bed Pillows
staff was very friendly and room was cleaned daily. Thank you very much for cleaners.
we got a room 707 which is not easy job to find. we went down and up, left and right, up and down and right and left. Right at the end of a corridor. We count about 10 doors which we went through and we got to the room. It was like labyrinth. we started to manage ourself especially after few shots. Bathroom was clean but everything seem used and few things weren't even fix properly like shower. we managed to use it too. ..... there was a rust on the shower curtain rail.horrible!!!!!! we are not happy !!!! pictures on the businesses website are nice but reality is far from queens hotel.
Exposed electrical wires No spy hole in door No soap to wash hands Stains on curtains The whole place needs a major refurb ASAP
Price, Staff, Area..
Location, Room (my room was at basement),
The hotel did need an upgrade and the mattresses renewed. The staff were really helpful Sndvod not do enough for us
Good value for the money, clean room with heating and a/c, private parking.
Rooms at the basement are reached through a maze of doors, narrow corridors and stairs, without a lift it's a hassle if you have lots of luggage. Downtown is reached by bus as there is no subway and takes about an hour. Hotel had a lot of construction workers staying when I was there, so it's not the usual type of guests.
I liked the cleanliness of my room. Everyday our towels were renewed and out bed made. We had an electric water boiler, coffee and tea.
I didn't like that in my 5-day stay the fire alarm rang twice during the night. The first time someone lit a cigartte and the other it was just a false alarm, but the stress really disturbed everyone's sleep
location. cleaned room every day plus clean towels every day. price.
£5 a day to park car.decor dated.
cost efficient clean accommodation. 15 minute walk to train station or $6 taxi ride if you have too much luggage to make the walk. a couple of great restaurants nearby.
Too far away from the centre of London description on website not completely honest
I really enjoyed my stay and already booked next one :)
nice staff Some rooms smells nice after eucalyputs
short beds (180cm long) broken handle at the window in the bathroom so it was cold over there because it wasn't able to close the window. Mine wasn't smell after eucalyptus
I like everything about this hotel
I had booked a night at the Queens hotel upper Norwood. I had phoned to ask if I was arriving early could I leave my bag as I was taking my 9 year old daughter to Winter Wonderland. We arrived just near Midday, I found the staff rude as I tried to explain I had arrived early and could I please leave my bag. I was charged £2 and they locked my bag in a cupboard. Coming back at 10:30 I was kept waiting 30 minutes at the receptionist took the time to process my payment and print a receipt, there was a lot of what I thought was drunken tourists but now know asylum seekers after reading online. I was directed to my room, as soon as I opened the door I could smell the damp, it was cold, the carpet was wet. The bathroom extraction was on obviously to get rid of the smell. I put my daughter in bed with an extra duvet and made a tea, I then went to sleep. We were woken by a fire alarm at 4:15am it went off twice and no one was coming to check I looked out and waited for someone but there wasn't anyone, again woke at 5:30 by immigrants arguing outside my door, they were drunk and very loud banging the doors. I woke then at 7:30 tried to have a shower and water was cold the bathroom disgusting and the bed I slept on was stained, the electric equipment had no or out of date PAT testing, On the check out I asked for a manager and was told no managers worked Sundays, I explained my night, showed them photos i had taken and asked for a refund, I was refused. I did say I would be in touch they have my details and I would like to be contacted. I have never seen a place like this, I am surprised that this place is on your website? I felt ripped off and never want to go to London again.
The hotel in general.
