Price compared to others Clean Breakfast included
Not a lot of space. Just double bed with enough space to walk around it. In bathroom hardly enough space to dry yourself after shower.
The location was handy to shops and transport
The staff couldn't speak English. The room was 10' * 9' with 2 skinny single beds. No top sheet just a doona on bed. Towels paper thin. Breakfast was a free for all with over 300 guests fighting to sit at 40 small tables. WiFi not free, baggage stored not free. No porters to help with luggage.
Location and price!
No air con. or fan availble in room. We were having a spell of good weather and the room was uncomfotably hot
Tea and coffee making facility in the room
Poor TV signal, no free Wi-Fi and a room that was down a back ally corridor which felt like the staff quaters not a guest room
Hotel needs serious maintenance No internet in room Poor breakfast
Location - close to tube and Hyde Park. Good eating places nearby.
Staff not as helpful as should have been. No remote in room - the member of staff on reception said most rooms hadn't got one. The bathroom and general decor in need of attention.
Very small room, substandard breakfast, poor service in the reception.
The staff were very friendly and very very helpful at all times.
The decor was slightly dated needed a lick of paint in the room.
Good location, easy to reach by public transportation, nice breakfast
Bed was terrible, the springs virtually sticking out. No free Internet.
Staff were reasonable but could improve with training on how to be more helpful and considerate to guests
Our room was on 5th floor the landing was poor and i had a bad trip due to the carpeted step - Room was poor and the TV didnt work bathroom was not clean and bed was uncomfortable hotel is very dated and needs renovating in all rooms and landings
Good price for that part of London
Everything was extremely basic. No bath. No television remote in most rooms. Stylish lobby and modern elevator were much higher quality than the actual rooms
Location. Price. Convenience. Cleanliness.
Reception staff disorganised. Breakfast no better 5than adequate.
On a nice street with old buildings. Staff friendly. Bathroom was okay. Safes in room.
Small, cramped rooms, minimal and cheap bedding. Internet isn't free in the room or in the lobby. I was told internet was pay-only, and then "you probably won't get good reception in the room anyway". Breakfast was poor quality.
Comfortable room, clean and well functional bathroom.
Always the same food and sausages taste awful.
It was close to Hyde Park and to all the underground stations. lots of great reasonably priced restaurants close by The room was clean
The room was very small and extremely stuffy overnight. It was 23 degrees Celsius outside and just airless inside room even with window open. It was better the second night after we asked for a fan to move the air around. Although we got our key card very quickly the service at the desk was unbelievable. The people at the desk were so uninterested in helping anyone with any inquiries. It was almost an imposition if they had to move away from the desk. There was no signs of a welcome from any of them.
easy walking distance to underground staff helpful and efficient. comfortable bed and clean bathroom. would stay there again for short break.
cramped space for beakfast
Good Receptive staffs
Management staff, indifference.
Room B101 - the room is like a basement, and has a weird hallway with a door to some weird place to the bathroom, and practically no windows (they face to some kind of a staircase inside the hotel).
I was located at a basement room. My window views where on a storage room!! Service at reception was really poor and uneducated. No free internet (10pounds for 24h!!!!!). Dirty, 35min (bus) to Picadilly and I paid over 90 pounds for that!!
atmosphere and general cleanliness and very well appointed room, spotless.
leaving early for business, could have stayed longer.
nearness to tube stations. clean comfortable, quiet room (floor 1). decent breakfast. friendly staff. safe in room.
no bacon or hash browns for breakfast.
Extensive breakfast menu; clean, comfortable room, modern decor; staff always helpful and friendly;
Cleanliness, value for money, location within London
Noise from clientele of so called hotel across road throughout the night and some thoughtless residents within hotel - loud late corridor conversations and slamming doors
Hotel is a box of smallish rooms that ticks the box in terms of getting a little sleep in between business or pleasure. ...not the sort of place to impress someone, but it works. Breakfast is a bit of a scrum, staff try hard to help and work hard to stay on top of matters, no bacon , but all else so again something to take before work. Toaster was in efficient! !!!!!
No smiles on reception! But all else ok.
This hotel is very well located, and close to two underground stations on separate lines, which makes access to all parts of London very easy.
The room was very small and one almost had to reverse into the toilet and shower, it was so tiny. Certainly drying after a shower wasn't possible in there!!
