Its location was quite good It was noisey! People singing ETC on the landings late in to the night. Room was very stuffy too hardly able to breathe and the elevator would fit one person in never seen anything quite so small. At 2am someone was smoking in the room and fire alarms went off no one said if it was a false alarm ETC had to call reception and they laughed. Not great when you are a young woman staying there alone! |

The breakfast was only croissant, toast, jam and cornflakes...There was no ham, cheese or whatsoever. This should be definitely improved. |

Hotel staff was friendly, breakfast for anexpensive hotel OK Room and bathroom were tiny. Room was dusty and bathroom needs repair. Lift was so tiny like wardrobe. |

There was nothing I can say I liked. Room was very small, barely larger than the bed. Staff put me in "new room," but it was drab and worn. Price was 320 pounds/night. Door in hall was propped open with fire estinguisher. One lift was barely large enough for 2 persons. Larger lift was barely large enough for 1 person with luggage. Hotel generally rundown. When I asked desk staff to call a taxi, he called a limo that overcharged. |

The breakfast, location of the hotel and the newly fitted bathroom were all positives to take from this hotel. If you want something cheap for a short stay, then this is the hotel for you but by no means book this hotel with high expectations. The lifts are the smallest you'll ever come across, the staff weren't very helpful and building works are underway (as at end of July 2008) to renovate a number of rooms (this resulted in my having no access to water on more than one occasion) - avoid rooms on floor one. If you wish to request something, the likelihood is that you will have to go to reception to pick it up yourself. |
