Queensway Hotel  

Very good location. Two out of the three check-in clerks were very friendly and breakfast staff very friendly and efficient. Upgraded to double room as single was awful. This was a fair sized room and had air- conditioning and a nice view. Decent breakfast with good coffee. Free Wifi worked well in room and breakfast area.

The single room that I booked was atrocious. Don't book these - I had to upgrade to a double room. The one check-in clerk was as unfriendly and unhelpful as could be possible. Room was very basic but in general clean, although the bed-spread was a little bit dodge. The bed appeared to be old and cheap.

Staff were excellent : helpful, courteous and visible. A good continental breakfast was included in the overall price. The room was clean with (fairly) new facilities. We would use the hotel again for a further city trip.

Being watched at breakfast, Could not wait to clear the table as you left dining area. Also saucers for plates.

The hotel was close to all amenities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy & breakfast was adequate.

The position was excellent, with helpful staff and the room was certainly nice and quiet.

There were dirty marks on the walls. The bed covers were dirty and I could not use the bath as the mechanical plug was not working , of which they had known about when they put us in the room. There needs to be some attention also regarding something to hold onto when stepping out of the bath, as the shower was over the bath and it was quite deep.

We like the queensway because we find it perfect location wise.we can walk to all the attractions or catch the bus.you are surrounded bi different caf,es and pubs. Hydepark just over the road.

Perhaps could be a little more variety at breakfast,maybe some fruit and french bread.and cheese and ham

I liked the fact that the hotel was within walking distance of Paddington Station/Underground. The hotel was functional, and the fact you could leave your luggage behind reception when catching a later train/flight.

The sink was far too small in the bathroom. Breakfast was very basic and the tables and room could of been a little cleaner.

Poor brekfast and the waither was very unplesant, we didnt even want to go there again.

It was very convenient for Paddington and the party we were going to in Mayfair. The room was very reasonably priced.

The iron - like most hotel irons it leaked brown water over my shirt.

Hotel was located close to London center and very easily accessed by e.g. tube. Breakfast service was good and the rooms were tidy and comfortable.

The staff could have payed a bit more attention to the customers. The room was also quite drafty, might become quite cold during proper winter nights.

The Location of this Hotel was fantastic for its closeness to the city centre and Hyde park paddington Station. The area itself was nice andquiet too. We arrived early and we were allowed to check in before the check in time of 2pm.. All round nice place, good value.

My only complaint is the size of the bathroom in the room we stayed in, I felt it was just too small, we had to cross over the toilet to get into the shower which was a bit on the small side too. The room was clean but I did notice that the toilet could have done with a better cleaning around the floor and behind the seat which I think must not have been put down when the room was being serviced. But that aside it was not enough to make me not go back there.
