The Queenswood is just off the seafront with a sunny, south-facing elevated position and commanding panoramic views. The hotel is a tastefully-converted, 100-year old building mixing old and new styles. It has been run by the same family since 1969. The seafront is only minutes away and a short pleasant walk through Grove Park takes you to the center of town, the theater and other attractions of this very popular resort. Within 22 miles of Bristol, Avonmouth and Clevedon, and 60 miles from Cardiff, Weston-super-Mare has all the benefits of a seaside town. The staff were very friendly and made us welcome and we were given achoice of rooms which was nice The fact that there was no lift in hotel which meant you had to stuggle up to the top floor with your cases The hotel was on a steep incline from beach back to the hotel The breakfast was not as good as expected the full english lacked sausages and beans had to be requested as it was,nt on the menu

The room was quite modern and was very clean and welcoming. We had a fantastic view of the beach from our window. The breakfast was lovely, although my husband mentioned about the lack of sausage. Overall a lovely stay.

I found the Queenswood Hotel very relaxing + clean,which is something i always look for when searching for a hotel!!! The only problem i came across was the parking.When looking for a hotel i tend to choose one with parking on site,which this hotel said it had.When i arrived there was a very small drive right infront of the hotel,which can only fit in 3 vehicles at the most as it is an awkward shape.so i had to find parking elsewhere.The advice i would give is dont rely on the carpark there!!

Extreemly friendly, well looked after . The breakast was excellent. Parking was an issue, there were only two spaces at the hotel so there was no chance of a spot. As the hotel was on a hill, cars were parked both sides of the road so access/ finding parking spot was difficult.

A nice, clean, well looked after family run hotel. Great location in Weston, one street back from seafront. The father and son team who run it are clearly proud of their hotel and are friendly and helpful.

Me and my boyfriend really liked the hotel view of the sea and pier and having a balcany to go out and sit on :) the bedrooms are really nicely presented and the bathroom is lovely. The hotel staff are really nice and let you order take away food in which is nice! Good availablity of parking for your car!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Queenswood hotel.We found it clean,friendly and well positioned being a short walk from the beach .The breakfast was delicious all in all a lovely weekend.We would definatley stay there again.

When booking on line, it states the hotel is just off the sea front. AS WE ARE ALL IN OUR SIXTIES THIS SOUNDED IDEAL. UNFORTUNATELY THE HOTEL IS NOT JUST OFF THE SEA FRONT, IT`S SITUATED UP A VERY STEEP HILL,IT TOOK US A GOOD TEN MINS TO GET FROM THE BEACH AREA TO THE HOTEL. WHICH WE FOUND VERY CHALLENGING. THE ON LINE INFO ON THE HOTEL LOCATION WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING

It is a very nicely furnished and homely hotel. The breakfast was very good. I arrived a bit late due to prolems on the motorway. This would have been ok but I found they don't provide for evening dining. This meant I had to go out to find somewhere to eat.

We found the Queenswood a lovely hotel, the room was excellent and the staff all warm and friendly. Close to the centre of Weston super mare with just a short walk to the shops or sea front. We found nothing we didn`t like and would definitely stay again.

The staff were fantastic, very helpful. The hotel had a family feel whilst being professional and well organised. The breakfast was lovely and delivered to us quickly. Only thing if I was being really picky was I did miss a sausage with my full English.

Limited parking although had no problems. We were made most welcome by the owner and it was an excellent location just very short walk to the beach and shopping centre, bars and restaurants. The breakfast had a good varied choice too. We had lovely sea view room with balcony. Departure was a good time at 11am. The bedroom was on the small side.

The Hotel Staff were very welcoming and proved a useful means of finding out about the town and outlying areas. The room was very clean and at breakfast nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would definetely use the hotel next year when returning to wsm.

Hotel had a nice character, was nicely furnished and well maintained and clean. Room no 1 is highly recommended with balcony and lovely views over the bay. I would definitely stay at the Queenswood again and recommend it to friends. Booking.com seem to believe I booked a single room only but I also booked Room no1 a double and the main subject of this review. Room no3 - a single - was also booked and once again we were happy but no sea view!
