Our room was lovely, clean and light.

The bath was a little dated, but ok.

The staff are lovely & the beds are comfy

The breakfast needs beans and the bathrooms need up dating

Friendly helpful. good breakfast, no sausages but the bacon more than made up for this !!

Parking could be a little difficult, but we always found a spot outside the hotel.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable rooms with nice little touches. Very good breakfast and helpful waitress. Only a couple of minutes walk down to seafront/pier and quiet location. We were offered choice of two rooms, both very nice but we chose slightly smaller one (still fine) as it had lovely views over the sea-front

Was fortunate enough to get a parking space on very small driveway. Need to consider wording about offering parking (a small factor in us choosing this hotel) as very limited and alternative is (free) on-road around hotel

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean.

The shower wasn't very powerful and it was either too hot or too cold.

Location was great and right near the seafront. Lovely room and excellent price.

Parking not good extremely small car park however plenty of spaces on the side of the street. Not sure about the restrictions though.

The owners were very hospitable, the staff at breakfast were very good and the hotel was beautifully clean and decorated.

the bar had shut both evenings when we returned to the hotel, it would have been nice if it had been open at about 11.30/12.00 on Saturday evening so that we could have socialised with our daughter and her boyfriend.

very friendly staff, very nice room with lovely view of the pier (room 1) and a sunken bath to boot ;) proper old school hotel with the look and service of a traditional seaside family run hotel, would recomend it as a nice change to the repetition on 'chain' hotels. room was clean, plenty of towels, comfy bed-could not ask for more, well worth a stay. we are sure to return at some point :)

A lovely hotel with fabulous views of the sea. We were given a very warm welcome from the owners, even a choice of sea view rooms (a very difficult choice for us, they were both stunning). The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, our bed was so comfortable. We had no problem whatsoever with parking (although this was January). Thank you for a lovely two night stay, we will definately return.

The breakfast was a disappointment as it was overcooked. This was a surprise as the breakfast reviews were excellent. All we can think is that this was a one off. However, we did not give it a chance on the next morning. The coffee was excellent. A shower in the rooms would be nice.

We booked last minute and found a double room at a very reasonable price what a little gem. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we found the room warm and very clean.

We couldnt fault the hotel at all the only thing that wasnt good was the weather.

Good location, close to amenities. Clean and functional. Personal attention by staff. Excellent value for money.

Only one window able to open in room

A very friendly greeting. The room was lovely and warm and the bathroom well appointed. The breakfast was wonderful, full service to the table. We will definitely stall at the Queenswood Hotel again.
