The room was lovely. Very comfortable bed. Sweets and valentine gift left which was a nice touch.
Town was a short walk through park which was not lit so a bit unnerving on the way home. Breakfast was okay had better. Would not suit someone with mobility issues.
Room 22 Location Sea View from window
Neat and tidy inside and out. Comfortable and attractive lounge. Well appointed en suite bedroom. Lovely view from bedroom (room 22). Excellent breakfast with waitress service.
Bed was a standard size. The car park and road parking were congested. Hillside location may make it difficult for disabled. Breakfast finished at 0915 everyday including Sunday
Room well appointed. Mirrors, plugs etc in the right places. Large bathroom, great shower. Freshly cooked breakfast.
The room was spacious and very clean, which is very important. The bed was so comfortable .
No Lifts, hard work when you have heavy bags.
It was an ideal situated hotel for the fireworks and nice pleasant place to stay
The breakfast could be slightly better and a choice of cereals and juices on the side also no sausage with breakfast !
Well kept hotel a different room. Very comfortable, well looked after, clean and tidy. And 10% off next stay.
The bed was extremely Comfy. The Stay was lovely and will recommend this hotel.
Room 54, sea views. Very traditional reception & communal downstairs with unexpectedly modern bedroom. Great bathroom with colour changing lights. Bargain room rate. Breakfast was well cooked. Interesting father & son hosts, both former mayors. Definitely recommended. The best of 3 hotels I've booked in Weston. Hard to find fault, not a 'Wow!' Hotel but professional & welcoming.
Not the biggest bedroom, (but great bathroom). Room light switches took a bit of getting used to.
Very comfortable and clean, lovely period features. Excellent breakfast and service. Would recommend.
Could not find fault!
I recently stayed here on my own, I'm a 21 year old woman. I went for a walk about 6pm to see the local area and see if I could find some food, but after cat calls from 3 old men I decided to just eat at the hotel. When I got to the hotel I was told bluntly that they wouldn't provide food until the morning. I work in a hotel myself and know that this is not acceptable protocol. They didn't even have any bar snacks to help with my hunger. Very VERY disappointed.
Bar was barely used and a bit souless
The room was well appointed and was very comfortable indeed.
Location - completely silent, no loud passing traffic or loud people nearby. The hotel was set back about a 10 minute walk from the sea front and town centre. The younger man owner. He was very pleasant when we arrived and when we left. The room - clean, well appointed, roomy. Me and my partner are both very tall and the bed was perfect for us as was the little en suite. The rock candy was a nice touch, the biscuits were delicious and you gave us the right amount of tea and sugar, not at all stingy like other places I have previously been. In all, I don't know why this place is a 3*, it is too good for that. The pillows and bed were so soft I was really pleasantly surprised :)
The Wifi - travelling from London we needed some Wifi because it is what we are accustomed to. The signal was too poor to access the internet on my laptop in our room. The older man owner. On our last night, me and my partner ordered an Indian takeaway. The hotel serves a simple menu and we didn't really want to eat anything there. The gentleman told me to 'not eat curry on the bed as the stains are hard to remove'. Common sense dictates that as a 23 year old woman not a 10 year old child, I would not eat a curry in bed and to be honest, as a customer paying a good amount per night, please do not approach customers in this way! Your hotel policies do not state that customers cannot order meals from outside so it should not be raised as an issue. Rest assured we left our room, bed linen and carpet spotless as it was when we arrived.
It had a very relaxing and calm atmosphere. The decor was not modern, but very charming and period. Just how B&Bs used to be, very nostalgic and enjoyable stay..
Location. Up hill from the front / town.
Great modern room,
Rest of hotel a little dated but still a good
Friendly welcome, helpful staff, tastefully decorated, large bedroom with sea view (over rooftops), comfy bed, large ensuite, wine glasses provided in room along with the usual tea / coffee but with biscuits and a jar of sweets.
Very small car park!
Fab hotel. Well located. Staff very friendly
Parking a bit limited but can park in road outside hotel.
Everything other than parking my car.
Parking awful. Hotel located on very steep hill. Very little space in Hotel car park. Side roads full of parked cars 24/7.
Clean comfortable and very friendly helpful staff
parking at a premium
