There was nothing to spoil the a perfect weekend .
View from the room. Close to town .Spacious bathroom.
Breakfast. No hooks in the bathroom. Dining room needs updating. No proper shower.
Good breakfast - nice lady waitress polite and efficient. Good sea view clean and comfy room.
No lift ! No offer of help to get lone female's bag to 2nd floor from reception. Dull breakfast room and last breakfast served at 9.15 ! Limited head room in bathroom. Parking very limited.
We stayed recently and overall it was a good experience but the room a little small and bathroom very small didn't match the photos I viewed on line prior to booking and a little disappointed also not much parking
room was cool
Very clean and comfortable room with lovely views. Excellent breakfast nicely presented. Pleasant bar and sitting area with papers, games etc. Short walk to the seafront. Altogether very nice indeed.
A bedside lamp would have been nice but really no negatives at all.
The hotel is in a fantastic position with amazing views over the bay. Easy walk to the town but up hill on the way back. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and pleasant. The bar is well stocked with real ales and a variety of whisky on offer.
The hotel has an old fashioned feel about it and our room was in definite need of refurbishing.
Needed a stop on our way to Penzance, chose thus hotel and was not disappointed, very nice staff lovely room.
Somebody hoovering outside the room at 9am, bit too early for that kind of wake up call, but not a big problem.
Clean and room, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, sensible price.
This was our second visit, and yet again we had an amazing time and were not disappointed. We were given Room 1 which was absolutely stunning, a lot nicer than the room we had last year, amazing views, massive room and absolute luxury. Would highly recommend.
Only problem, no sausage at brekkie ;)
Woyld of liked blackout blinds on all windows
Very quite place peaceful
room decor freshness of room good service proper breakfast
hard to fault
The room was very clean, lovely sea view, staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast didn't have any sausages or beans.
the owners could have been a little sociable ! rather miserable !
If you are specifically heading for WSM it's a great choice. It's a beautiful Victorian stand alone old house with an imposing position all be it one block from the sea front. Compared to the other Hotels there it's pristine clean and elegant but one wouldn't choose any of them unless on the bread line. Great breakfast, good beds parking, and wi Fi pretty good value really.
Weston Super Mare it's for the over 70's
The cleanliness throughout the hotel and the standard of our room was first class. The staff were very hospitable and professional in the way that they carryout their duties. The breakfast was outstanding - it offered a wide variety of selection and was of the highest quality, I highly recommend the Queensland to anyone visiting Weston as it offers the comfort of a family run hotel with the personal services that larger hotels fail to achieve 5* plus........
Although the bathroom is impeccably laid-out and we witnessed no problems, the sloping ceiling over the shower may cause a problem for anyone in excess of 6 feet?
Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely room with great views over Weston and out to sea. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Tea/coffee making facility. Good choice of food in the bar although we did not need to take advantage of that. Good breakfast and coffee. Conveniently situated in a quiet backwater but only a short walk from the sea front. Good standard all round and good value.
Room 1 - stunning sea/beach view
A little `dated' in dining room - staff thrown by request to toast gluten free bread in toaster bags provided
Hotel Room was really nice bright, clean and spacious, which was a definate bonus. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, we opted for the full english which was cooked to perfection, noted that they catered for everyones tastes without question. Staff extremely courteous.
Parking was an issue initially, mainly down to the fact that it took us over 4 hours to get there due to the congestion on the M42 and M5 which left us tired and put out that there wasn't a parking space, although the proprietor did offer to the strain of moving the car if necessary.
The location had great views and the beds were Amazing. Breakfast is including in the price and is really tasty you can really get your money's worth here they will keep serving you like an all you can eat and drink :)
The steps were very steep so not recommended for elderly travellers unfortunately
The room facilities were excellent and the hotel was quiet which was nice
Very friendly staff, clean room, OK shower, as is bed. Breakfast was really good. Generous size, well cooked, hot, promptly served full English breakfast.
Walls are wafer thin so I could hear conversation and snores from next door. Pity
Sat just back 100m off seafront. Very peaceful, and polite. Lovely food and very clean
Enjoyed it all!
