When we first pulled up at the hotel, we were a little disppointed, we parked in the car park at the rear of the property (room for at least 6 cars) and walked upto the hotel. The reception area was small and not quite what we had expected. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly and she showed us up to our room and wow - very clean and extremely comfortable, well laid out it was just lovely. The bathroom was exquisitely done, fresh and clean. I cant say enough about the room. There was a games room at the hotel with a hospitality bar, fridge full of various alcoholic beverages and you put the amount of money you felt was reasonble in the pot. The breakfast (full English) was good.I Probably havent given the hotel enough credit. It was fab and very reasonable. I would definately use that hotel again and recommend it highly. Only thing I didnt like were the breakfast hours of 8-9. After a heavy night of partying and enjoyment there is no way you can get up and ready for breakfast at that time. Also the 10am checking out time was a little too early for our liking.

We loved our stay at the Quies the hosts were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb, The location was ideal, we travelled all over Cornwall, and Newquay was the best place to come "home to" Alex and her staff work really hard to accomodate your every need. There is a well stocked fridge with beers , wine and soft drinks with an honesty box, reasonably priced too!, Rooms were very large ours had a balcony and the other a sea view! Reall clean and fresh! Wonderful to wake up to.

Beautiful room, brilliant location for the centre of Newquay and the beach. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were first class. I was able even to use the hotel computer to check in for my return flight. Exceptional value for money as well.

The value was excellent. Given that the cost of my room was so reasonable I was pleasantly surprised to see how well appointed the en-suite room was and just how excellent the breakfast was. Also as a business traveller, the free WiFi was great too. I will definitely try to stay there again. Many thanks.

Staff were very friendly, made us feel very welcome. Gave us good information about local attractions and places of interest. Would stay their again. Recomended. Very close to shops and the beach, just out of the way enough not to hear too much noise from from pubs and bars at the weekend. Thin walls, but you get that in a lot of hotels.

The Quies is a perfect b&B. From the moment of arrival we were met by the management who showed us around the facilities. With a friendly proffessional manner which made us all feel at home right away. Spotless clean rooms and bathrooms of a very good size as well. The Quies also served an excellent breakfast, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Newquay.

The Quies was exceptionally good value for money. As someone who travels with work over the world staying in top hotels I was extremely impressed with the accommodation. The room overlooked the cliffs and sea in Newquay and was a two minute walk to the town centre and beaches. We had a king size bed, the room was very spacious, the bathroom and shower were as good as any home and the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. Breakfast was also to a very good standard and as a result we had a fantastic stay. Thoroughly recommended.

As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by the owner (I think) who was lovely and showed us to our room. The room was beautiful, very modern looking with a tv and dvd player. We also had a balcony, which had a lovely view of the town and the sea. Downstairs was the games room which had a ps3, Pool Table, Foosball Table, a fridge that you can put your stuff in, you just have to label your food and pop it in there, there was also another fridge with drinks in which you could help yourself to and leave the money in a jar on the top. The Quies was a 2 minute walk from the beach, to get to the town the quickest you have to go down a very steep hill, which means coming back up that steep hill, which even for us was tiring. The bathroom in the room was lovely and very clean and a great power shower (big enough for 2). So Overall Not a bad word to say about The Quies. Only the hill to get back up to the hotel.

The owners and staff were excptionally friendly and helpful and had presented us with a room that exceeded all expectatons for the price .The rooms were spotless and bathroom of high standard with towels frequently changed . Drinks were available in games room that could be paid for via an honesty box and coffee machine available free at all times. Food and takeaways could be brought back into the hotel and eaten in their restaurant area .Important as evening meals were not available but a very good full english breakfast was included n the price with free car parking as well.Well located for beach and shops and outside pubs and restaurants .Bus stops close when coming back into Newquay from their outside destinations. Most rooms are or will be upgraded as the hotel had moved from another now demolished site along the road into this already built hotel that needed changing. I have nothing about the quies I did not like, I did notice on google earth that the photo showed the old quies now demolished and rebuilt as flats and assumed that was where I was to go. I could not fathom how I could park round the back and had to walk about to find the new hotel which had a different name then on google

Very clean and spacious. Staff friendly! Free pool table and sky tv. Availability of free juice and coffee through the day was great. Highly recommended. Would go back. Parking was a bit difficult. Advise would be once parked seek other modes of transport for holiday e.g walking places. Or getting the land train.

We arrived early and they were happy for us to leave our car, then we didnt check in until later that day and again this was not a problem. We were shown personally around the b&b letting us know what facilities there were including all day coffee, tea and orange juice. Aswell as a free pool table, ps3 and a collection of dvd's to envy any blockbusters! The owners are so trustworthy there is a mini bar with an honesty jar in the lounge. Then we were shown to our room which would rival any big hotel chain, with queen size bed and seperate room for our 12 year old with his own tv and dvd. The breakfast was excellent with again great service. From start to finish it was excellent.
