Our host Paul's attention to detail was exemplary - without being OTT. We were in Room 3 (King size bed) and the room and bathroom were spotless. In fact so was the breakfast room. Very highly recommended.
Not easy to find in the dark but Paul came out with his torch to guide us in.
Our host, Paul, was perfect. We were made to feel at home. The room was superbly equipped with everything you could need, it was extremely comfortable with an excellent bathroom, with large fluffy towels. The room was cleaned everyday of our 4 day stay. Breakfast, consisted of a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, toast and traditional cooked full English. This really did set us up for the day. Paul had excellent local knowledge of restaurants, pubs and places of interest. I will definitely, return. Thoroughly, recommended.
Nothing to dislike.
- Beautiful room with a cosy feel, exposed beamed ceilings, very comfortable bed, very spacious, clean, lovely bathroom with heated towel rail - Lovely touch of a flask of fresh milk for the array of teas, coffees and other drinks alongside the small bowl of chocolates in the room - Cannot stress enough how awesome the owners are. Paul could not have done enough for me and I felt if I needed anything at all, he would try his very best to help me, even checking with a follow up email to make sure I got home okay (I had a 4hr journey home) - Paul came out to my car to help me in with all my bags - Offer of cake as soon as I arrived - Amazing welcome pack with every question I needed answering from detailed information on pubs nearby to good routes for a walk - Delicious breakfast (I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day)
Nothing at all! If I didn't have other commitments to get home to, I would have stayed longer!
Amazing welcome by Paul the owner . Made to feel at home straight away . With cake on arrival . Very clean . Large beautiful room . Great breakfast ! Amazing value for money
Accommodation was very clean, new, and bright. Facilities good. Food was great. Parking on site. Enthusiastic and caring host always helpful Warm and welcoming.
A little remote. Restaurant journey an effort.
Paul is a superb host and the place is beautiful - very clean and we'll decorated. The breakfast was just what we were after and filled us nicely. Would recommend to friends.
We spent three nights in this B and B. Everything was OK: a comfortable bedroom well equipped and with a large place. The breakfast (we have taken continental one!) was excellent, enclosing the fresh and warm croissants! Paul was very welcoming and frendly
Lovely decor Hospitable host Attention to detail
Very quiet. Paul (owner) is very friendly and helpful. Lovely room. Great breakfast.
We liked everything, from the moment we arrived to be greeted with tea and cake, to the moment we left with 'have a safe journey' as a farewell. Paul could not have been a better host and all aspects of the hospitality, the well appointed and spotless accommodation and huge breakfasts were superb.
Paul the host was very welcoming and charming. Tea and cake helped too! Everything about the B&B was excellent, couldn't fault anything.
Very cute and comfortable B&B. Top standards and very caring owner. Delicious breakfast. Thank you, Paul.
A warm welcome in the car park, carrying my bag, a spotless room and en suite. Cake on arrival.Very pleasant atmosphere. Huge comfortable bed and brilliant breakfast.Excellent value for money.
Absolutely 1st class servkce and attention to detail.
No restaurant in the village
Excellent accommodation Paul very helpful and friendly. Very welcoming - cake on arrival and help with bags. Excellent breakfast.
Paul is a fantastic host. We were met in the car park and he carried our bags to our room. Here we were offered freshly made cake which was yummy! The room itself was lovely and just like a luxury hotel room. A huge Super King Deluxe bed and an ensuite finished to a very high standard. Each morning we were given a delicious breakfast of fruit, cereal and yoghurt followed by a wonderful cooked breakfast tailored to our individual needs (which I particularly appreciated being 5 months pregnant) Thank you Paul!
The host Paul was great and made us feel very welcome from the first minute to the last. Breakfast was really nice and catered for all tastes. Beautiful clean room with a nice big bed and comfy pillows made for a good nights sleep. The place lived up to its name as it was quiet! All this made for an enjoyable bank holiday weekend away and would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anybody wanting to stay in a village location...just be mindful that a giant supermarket isn't next door though and you have to travel for eating out etc for those from towns and cities.
We stayed when visiting family and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely breakfast, nicely decorated room, and owner was very friendly and helpful.
We were left a message by fellow guests asking us to be quiet as they were taking an early night and walls were very thin between rooms - their words!
The feeling of being really well looked after,
Paul was the quintessential host-with-the-most. Amazing energy - could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as it could be.
Only regret was that we were there only one(1) night. Would have loved to had known how wonderful this place was prior to booking - and would have planned our trip differently so we could have spent more time there. He has a wealth of knowledge and is very helpful with plans for side trips to take in.
Quiet Location within striking distance of Yeovil. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and friendly welcome.
Lovely location (with brilliant directions from the owner). Very attractive country house; three guest rooms, and we were the only people staying. Bedroom was lovely, with huge bed, palatial bath/shower room, lots of fluffy towels - we had an excellent night. Breakfast was varied and good, with croissants cooked to order. No pub in the village, and the highest-recommended local eatery was fully-booked, but we ate well at the nearest pub. Will definitely go back.
I just liked everything from the moment I left till the moment I left. Was a truly fantastic experience. Couldn't of asked for more. Keep up the good work.
Would have been perfect had their been somewhere to eat in the village but that's just as a business traveler not wanting to drive anymore after a day on the road.
The accommodation was spectacular, beautiful rooms with great facilities. Paul the host was brilliant at looking after us. Breakfast perfect, best mushrooms ever.
