The Place was filthy.
1. Near Richmond Station, Kew Gardens, Kew Station and London Heathrow Airports. 2.Can walk around until midnight. 3. Many shops, supermarkets and restaurants. 4. Can travel easily all day and night by bus, train, underground and taxi at Richmond Station.
The loud noise of walking on the wooden floor and outside the hotel.
just about everything - room a mess.....needs a refurb throughout. Not as good as student halls of residence
location and price
Very cheap hotel well situated in Richmond. In terms of cost benefit, I can't see better hotel in the neiborhood. Good for lond stay.
Minimum services as this a cheap hotel.
It felt tired and dated
Good location, and good pubs very close. Staff helpful, and good spread for breakfast. Plenty of space to work.
Very basic accommodation, and shared shower room and toilet. Restricted WiFi. TV quality very poor.
Traditional feel Quiet, no disturbance. Parking Good location Breakfast included + wide time window
First floor room very hot No cooked breakfast
Lovely staff, great location. Good quality for money.
Just needs a little updating, carpets little dirty. Lick of paint and it will be great Hotle!!
Clean sheets and clean towels.
The nonsmoking room smelt strongly of snoke. The room reeked of alcohol. The hole in door. No light in bathroom. The trickle masquerading as a shower.
Cheapness, inclusion of breakfast into price, helpful staff.
Room was a bit tatty - there was a crack in the window, the bathroom needed a spruce (funny smell too), and the wall had a crack. TV made an awful buzzing noise. One bulb missing from light. Wi-fi should be opened up across the hotel, not just the lounge.
Location to Richmond for Twickenham Stadium. Bed Linen was clean, or I would have not stayed.
Room needed complete re-furb decor drab, carpet filthy. nos 25
Location. Towels and linen clean.
Carpets dirty. Walls dirty. Curtains dirty and falling apart. Bathroom dirty. Toilet didn't flush properly and wasn't fixed when we mentioned the fact. Overall an uncomfortable stay.
location and staff is good,
1-WiFi and drinking water bottle is not available in room 2- One old man receptionist has not cooperative nature.
Wifi only in lounge, so do we sit there in our pyjamas and cocoa? No tv, manager said nothing works here but he'd take a look, later that day he said he'd repaired the tv and we had one channel without sound, mentioned it next morning and manager said he'd muted the sound, as if it was obvious, tatty carpets throughout, limited breakfast, would not stay there again or recommend to friends.
Place is old and filthy. Appliances in the room overdue to be serviced so potential hazard. Shower was extremely dirty and pieces broken, I went and bought a cleaning spray and had to have quick shower using my flipflops, wouldn't dare to put my barefeet on the shower! I just wish I had read the reviews. Owner is obviously just interested in making money doesn't even pride himself of having a decent hotel. It's a shame because if the hotel were renovated it would be so nice as it's a nice building. And it must have been a very nice hotel fifty years ago but now my only advise is to avoid it!
Parking available but I didn't realise, hence I paid to park. Lovely clean, pressed, cotton sheets. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room Basic but very clean room. Great breakfast arrangement, simply toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juices - but nice. Very helpful friendly staff.
Decor was quite tired and very dated, in need of refurb.
The room was very hot, the hotel was run down. The shower did not work to start with.
Location and price
The property is currently being refurbished
The size of the room was good with a comfortable double bed, TV and tea & coffee facilities. For £50 a night in London you can't expect the Ritz. Ideal for a one night stay if you aren't too fussy.
The level of cleanliness wasn't great and the hotel could do with some significant investment to bring it up to a better standard, but this would only put up the price.
Close to my site of work
Very poor just a bed with a TV Washing Facilites not great
Clean good location
window would not open in bedroom. supposedly upgraded to better room but was not consulted about this until we went to check in. Then had to pay extra! a bit of a con I think
Location was excellent for the train station and shops and the bed was comfy.
The staff were rude and unfriendly, the hotel was dirty and untouched for 40 years. The shared toilet and shower we're disgusting and situated so that you came out of the loo straight onto the reception desk where people were checking in. We would never stay here again!!!!
location close to bars, richmond park, richmond town, free parking
breakfast not much to choose among
