Kind and courteous staff. 24Hr front desk. Very close to the Underground at Richmond and easy to drive to from the m3. Free parking. Basic accommodation but very clean and tidy. En suite and tv fine. Good range of items at the breakfast buffet. No complaints. This was our second time staying in this hotel and we would use it again - it's very convenient if you don't want to drive all the way in to central London.

Staff helfpul and room basic with short walk to separate bath/shower room and toilet. If you don't mind that the place has scaffolding all around outside of building and also quite unfinished work inside too in parts then this will be okay. I did not mind as I just needed somewhere to put my head down and room towards back of hotel was quiet enough. The location is perfect for visiting Richmond with Kew Gardens and Richmond Park and lovely walks along the Thames close by. Its not luxury but the price is not going to beat in the area. Once they eventually finish the work on the hotel it would be perfect place for anyone on a budget.

Hotel was very unclean and worn. I may have paid for budget accomodation but cleanliness is not something I would expect to have to pay extra for.

Good location and best price hotel we could find for the area. Staff were friendly. Large room. The bathroom and some areas of the hotel could do with updating. The water couldn't always decide whether it wanted to be hot or cold, made for interesting showers! The beds could have been more comfortable also.

Location - near to Richmond, which is nice, and Rosslyn Park - for the rugby. comfy bed Wallpaper peeling off my wall. Building work going on - limited car parking... Breakfast options variable - nice bread , not-so-nice croissants.

The car parking was handy and the location of the hotel is good. I understand there is building work going on but that was in the rear of the hotel. We stayed in the main building at the front and it was tired, dirty and very basic. The "en-suite" had cracked tiles on the wall and the floor. The carpets throughout are shabby and the wallpaper is hanging off the wall in several places.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I asked for help to find a particular shoe shop and the front desk staff helped me locate the place on the internet, although he did not know it himself. Also the cleaning staff and the people in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The decor was drab and the room itself (carpet etc.) was not clean, although the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was terrible. It was almost impossible to take a shower.

Quinns is a budget hotel with a certain amount of old world charm. Whilst it is fairly basic, it is very comfortable and a friendly place. The location is excellent, with walking distance to everything. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I did not really know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but then I believe that some people just enjoy complaining. Everything was fine. I liked everything. I think that sometimes people complain just for the sake of complaining.

Stayed for eng v wal 6 nations in february.Group of 9 stayed in 4 rooms 1 triple and 3 doubles.A Little apprehensive after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised, the savoy it is not but I must say most of the reveiws on here are ridiculous - I get very annoyed at the great british public who expect 5 star treatment for bargain basement rates. The hotel is basic with few ammeneties but the staff were great especially the night manager with leo sayer hairstyle who was always willing to help. The location for Richmond pubs and nightlife is excellent with just a couple of minutes stroll into town and tube.Do take your ear plugs though as aircraft do come right over top of hotel early hours.Overall great trip made by low cost stay

Despite severe restrictions with the renovations and alterations, my stay was quiet and pleasant. The toilet was freezing cold and the bedside lamp did not work, nor did the tv have very good picture. I presume this was all due to the alterations and scaffolding around the building.

May I say first that a gentleman named Ian at reception - I should have asked for his surname - made my stay a pleasure under otherwise testing times for the establishment. This was largely due to major renovations and extention work with much noise during daylight hours. Even when some drawer supports under the worktop broke off, I was treated with full understanding (the age of the fittings being well over 30 years) and did not get charged. I also had good responses from all the other staff I met. All in all, the stay, with nice food for breakfast, definitely left a good taste in the mouth.

It was quite good location, and if I consider price it was just great location, district line would bring me straight to Westminster. Staff was very nice and friendly, would explain me different things and suggest places I should visit. Room was clean and comfortable.
