Kind and courteous staff. 24Hr front desk. Very close to the Underground at Richmond and easy to drive to from the m3. Free parking. Basic accommodation but very clean and tidy. En suite and tv fine. Good range of items at the breakfast buffet. No complaints. This was our second time staying in this hotel and we would use it again - it's very convenient if you don't want to drive all the way in to central London.

Comfortable lounge. Great Location. Bed was decent. Good for a quick stay to visit family. Shower is very small, had low flow, and should've been much cleaner. Doors and windows are old and let in quite a bit of noise. Television was old and tiny.

May I say first that a gentleman named Ian at reception - I should have asked for his surname - made my stay a pleasure under otherwise testing times for the establishment. This was largely due to major renovations and extention work with much noise during daylight hours. Even when some drawer supports under the worktop broke off, I was treated with full understanding (the age of the fittings being well over 30 years) and did not get charged. I also had good responses from all the other staff I met. All in all, the stay, with nice food for breakfast, definitely left a good taste in the mouth.

It was quite good location, and if I consider price it was just great location, district line would bring me straight to Westminster. Staff was very nice and friendly, would explain me different things and suggest places I should visit. Room was clean and comfortable.

It is well located for our business conference in Richmond. It is dirty and smelly. When we arrived the room was stiflingly hot. We managed to open windows and to turn the radiator off (not as easy as it sounds) and then it was better. The bathroom was mouldy with holes in the tiled wall of the shower. The shower pressure was down to a dribble and went from tepid to burning hot for no apparent reason. It may have been due to people using taps in other rooms. The extractor fan was super- noisy. However, that was nothing compared to the constant roar of planes taking off and landing at Heathrow, from about 4.30am to 11pm+. With only single glazing it felt that the planes were in the same room! The 'carpet' was disgusting and dirty. So much so, that we felt the need to keep our shoes on when we weren't in bed! This was a hassle and didn't make you feel at all comfortable. The tea and coffee making facilities were put on a shelf, this shelf was hanging off the wall and the teas and coffees often found themselves in the rubbish bin below. The breakfast was the cheapest cereal (with a funny after taste) and toast if you chose. In the end, we moved to the hotel across the street and had a really nice stay.

Unable to get a good nights sleep due to the endless traffic. Windows not doubleglazed. Had to clean the toilet as the toilet seat was dirty underneath. General cleanliness extremely below standard. The kettle was leaking and my daughter scalded herself. Television was hardly working except for bbc 1.

Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and I think that this is a nice hotel to stay in for a short break. It is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Richmond tube station and there is plenty to do in town with various shops, pubs and restaurants close by. Overall I think that this hotel was excellent value for money and I would happily stay again. There was nothing that I didnt like

The location and the free parking were the main considerations. The breakfast buffet is quite good. The view from our ground-floor window (bins, old shopping trolleys etc --- a mess). WiFi in the room would have been a boon. The tv didn't work very well. The shower could have been cleaner.

I would recommended this hotel to anyone needing a base when researching at the National Archive at Kew. The hotel is situated only a few minutes from Richmond station and from there it is only one stop to Kew Gardens. The price of a room for a single traveller is very reasonable for this part of London and I enjoyed a much needed relaxing nights sleep.

Near Richmond train/tube station, about 5minutes' walk and the town centre. Breakfast finishes at 9am on weekday which we thought was a bit early. Staff was polite but not the friendliest. My boyfriend had food poisoning on a Saturday so we stayed in the hotel room all day. There was a lot of renovation going on,banging and knocking so he couldn't rest.

I found Quinns hotel to be exactly what it marketed itself as - a good honest place to stay; close the centre of town and the metro; and the bed was incredibly comfy. It is also away from the noise of the city and allows you to rest up well after a night out in London. Great job Quinns Paul

Breakfast quite nice toast cereal oj tea cobs and cheese and ham and yoghurt free parking ( if you can get into car park) Building work going on meant lorry blocked car park so had to pay £6 to park van till it left free parking only after 1830 Room itself was ok but tv reception was bad could just about manage to watch stuff but was really fuzzy and blurry screen the real let down though was the state of the bathroom Which looked like it hadn't been touched since 1960 it was functional but it just looked a bit dirty to me lime scale all over it and brown stains of mould and residue was just about useable for one night all in all though for £55 it did it's job for 1 nights stay

Little to recommend it at present. The room displayed a notice about renovations. These are badly needed, for the main staircase was shabby, the bedroom cramped, the bathroom shabby and ill-kept with damaged floor tiles and shoddy plasterwork round the fixtures. The shower attachment failed to operate properly. The bed was narrow for two people and there was persistent traffic noise from the main road below. A poor deal for the amount charged when compared with, say, a Permier Inn.
