Let us book in early and very helpful staff
Most of the staff were really nice. They were excellent at helping get to the airport with good suggestions and tips. The inn is a short walk from the train station.
I could hear everything my neighbors said. Toast and cereal were breakfast.
It's cheap, it's simple and in a good location. If you just want a bed for the night, this is it.
room, sink in the bedroom/soap and clan towels and shets, location, info flyers, pric comparing to others ,internet signal, 24hours check in, check out time.
bedroom floor dirty, little bit of noise from other costumers, television signal failing all the time,no private toilet/bathroom.
Easy going approach and efficient of room and breakfast
convenience cost crisp sheets warm
moths scalding shower
The very reasonable price included continental breakfast and free Wi-fi in the lounge. Cleanliness of linen and comfortable bed. The location - walkable to my destination, also to the tube, shops and on 337 bus route. Pleasant and helpful staff. A room on the ground floor involving few stairs. A room which looked out onto trees.
The hotel is in the process of being refurbished, so has old fashioned facilities. The heating was a bit too much for the size of the room and the mildish weather. No railing at the front entrance made the steps there a little challenging.
Breakfast was ok the toast was nice had a choice of 3 cereals, cornflakes, oats and muslie. The best thing about the hotel was the bed but even the bedding was stained, it was a horror the owner wouldn't even move me to a nicer room! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!
I stayed in a basic room but paying £55 I did expect a decent room instead I got a room filled with cobwebs, a carpet that was about 50 years old it's was frayed and all turned up and coming off the floor around the skirting boards, the window had no handle so was open and could NOT closed, when telling the receptionist he told me to open the other window and to lean out and push the window with no handle in tight, I was horrified! I should not have to do that and I also don't expect a room where the window won't shut. Please stay away!!
relatively cheap and convenient
needs refurbishing 50 years ago, grim bathrooms, worn out carpets, poor facilites
The price was low and the location was useful
The room wasn't clean, the bed was rock solid, there was no parking available, there was no WiFi, breakfast consisted of a hot drink with cereals or toast, generally an unpleasant place to stay.
Bed was comfy and the room was nice and warm (temperature wise not ambiance)
Sheets had stains on them. Walls had marks and stains Tv didn't work Floor was dirty and old Hotel was old and outdated Female receptionist just Abe us our keys with out even telling us which direction the rooms were in. Shared shower room was horrible, dirty and mouldy.
The bed was comfortable, room warm and cosy, location good.
The bathroom could be renovated
This hotel is in a lovely location, incredibly handy for underground, mainline trains and buses as well as the beautiful town of Richmond. The accommodation is very simple and no frills, but it is very clean and comfortable, just convenient affordable accommodation.
Location suited us, price was ok and the bed was clean and comfortable.
The whole building is in disrepair and needs a major injection of money and effort.
The hotel is in a good location for Richmond town centre and is close to the railway and bus stations
Hotel is in need of major refurbishment, repair and repainting. Carpets worn, smells damp and appears dirty. Discoloured wallpaper and faking paint in breakfast room.
staff on front desk really helpful
no cooked breakfast but not a real problem
THE QUINN HOTEL HAD A CAR PARK WE HAD A NICE WELCOME AND THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL. YES THE HOTEL IS A BASIC ONE AND IT IS UNDERGOING REFURBISHMENT BUT FOR THE PRICE IT WAS VERY GOOD AND WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN
Location was brilliant, beds were really comfortable.
The room smelt of damp, bathroom walls were mouldy, shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot, electric wires hanging from the ceiling, breakast was definately NOT continental. The staff were very unfriendly & unhelpful.
Not a lot...
The most bizarre place I have ever stayed and I have travelled a lot!
Close to centre Cheap in comparison to others nearby(but for a good reason) The kettle actually worked
Grubby in need of refurbishment. Staff need a morale boost. Noise from adjoining rooms. Radiator not working TV or remote controller not working, Radio not working. One night was enough.
Close to Richmond; car park; breakfast ok; 24 hour reception; small safe in room; small en-suite bathroom; would be happy to come back
Yes its dated, and would benefit from a refurb, but the location and price (compared to other local hotels) make up for that
It was very convenient for me, close to where I needed to be, I had a good night sleep. With other hotels charging twice the price it was ok for the money.
It needs refurbishing and has seen better days
Excellent location in the centre of Richmond for a good price. Staf nice. Good in general and nice to have a basic breakfast in site
TV very old with a lot of interference. Water super hot in the shower. Fixed after 2 days. Internet only in reception.
location, drinks making facility in room, off road parking, bathroom
slightly pricey for the one (weekend) night
24 hour reception, friendly staff, on site parking, clean and reasonably comfortable room, Tea/coffee making facilities and en suite accommodation. Ideal for one night to go to Twickemham.
The hotel is a bit 'tired' though undergoing improvements, the breakfast was adequate but hardly continental (cereal and toast).
