Very welcoming and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable as there was a wedding party who occupied the rest of the hotel. It would have been nice to have been warned in advance about the wedding party. |

As single female traveller the staff are very friendly and chatty. The food still is and has always been excellent. There is very little competition |

I liked the comfortable bed. I did not like the outside noise due to the hotel being by an access road and the windows are not double-glazed and in poor condition. |

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere good. The food was good but quite expensive, I had a curry dish that was £10.50 then had to pay an extra £2.20 for rice. |

The food and friendlyness of the staff were both excellent. My room overlooked a main road and was a bit noisy. |

Location. From the hotel you could easily walk to the Melton Mowbray city centre. Beds were great for us. Everything worked fine in the room, but some things like the bathroom interior was worn out/falling to pieces. |

The mattress in my room was seemingly well-worn and somewhat "lumpy". |

The friendly, helpful and honest Staff; I say "honest", because on leaving I inadvertently left my camera in the bathroom, and later, when I telephoned the Hotel, the camera was available at reception for collection. The breakfast was excellent. |
