The reception and bar staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a guy (maybe the owner??) who just walked into the bar and stared at us and didn't speak. We'd just got there so it made us uncomfortable.

The hotel and staff were first class, friendly and cheerfull, The food was excellent especially the Indian cussine. The only down side was that the room we had was extreamly warm at night, could have done with at least a fan, and as it was at the front of the hotel very very noisy. Being close to the town the noise over the weekend was continuous and not alot of sleep was had! Other than that 8 out of 10

The hotel is very pleasant. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would happily stay there again and recommend the hotel to others. The room was large and comfortable! The water pressure in the roof top shower room was not very powerful but just adequate. .

The staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable The double beds were very small double beds and I wouldn't describe the rooms as deluxe.

Hotel was definitely not a 3*. The bedroom we stayed in stunk of cigarette smoke and was very dusty. The kettle was filthy and the bathroom was ancient with a pink suite! We chose a curry on the Sunday evening as this was recommended and although it was ok, the cost was very high indeed for the main course. There were only 4 of us in the restaurant, no music and deathly quiet which made us feel that we had to whisper. The manager in the evening had absolutely no personality and sat in the main bar/lounge area on the sofa with his hands behind his head. This is NOT what you expect. Breakfast was good but the crockery was ancient and the coffee rather disgusting. Sorry we definitely would NOT stay here again

We were upgraded without even asking to a delightful, spacious room with a Four poster bed and a large corner bath. The gentleman who directed us to a restaurant in town, quite late in the evening, even waited for us to come in,before he locked up.Lovely people and a nice stay.

All the staff were so helpful and friendly - way beyond the call of duty. It had a warm, friendly atmosphere and we thought the fascilities were very nice. Home from home style, not too minimalistic. We will certainly stay there again.

Location to my conferance, car parking and Breakfast staff. Indian menu in resturant expensive and poor choice and quality of food, Bar prices over priced paid £1.60 for 500ml bottle of still water English Breakfast over cooked and therefore poor to eat. considering i was one of two tables and the only guest staying that night all in all very poor.Woudn't stay again, prefer to stay at Premier Inn and travel in to venue.
