Probably the best hotel bed we've slept in
I understand that it was a very busy weekend (rugby) but the bar staff even when it was quiet were very offhand and one was downright unhelpful
The location, the friendliness, the cleanliness, a great hotel, will definitely stay again.
Nothing, everything was first class.
The big bed - it was so comfortable and the pillows were fantastic not like some other hotels where you take ages to get comfortable. Lovely size room, powerful shower, lovely and clean with loads of tea and coffee Absolutely brilliant for the Motorpoint Arena and dead centre of town for shopping. You won't get better anywhere
Could have done with a couple more days!!
Great location and at a good price. Comfortable bed and clean.
Couldn't get onto the wifi even though it was supposedly free. Expensive breakfast.
Being on the 21st floor. The view is amazing. The comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast
Having to go home
This was our 8th stay at this hotel standards never drop already booked next stay
Our room was spacious bathroom clean staff helpful
Parking arrangements poor also car park spaces very narrow
Clean, well maintained rooms. Friendly staff. Great location for shopping and exploring Cardiff. Would definitely stay here again.
Only 2 lifts meant that we had to wait quite a while to get down from the 19th floor but as we weren't in a rush to get anywhere it wasn't a major problem.
Firstly I have said mature couple but actually it was two mature ladies (no option for that in survey) Loved the location - so handy for trains, shopping, concert hall, WMC and Cardiff Bay. Comfy beds, lots of space in room, two chairs, lots of TV channels - lovely bathroom and a bath...becoming rare these days!
despite booking a twin room and phoning to comfirm this we were allocated a double - meant going back down to reception with luggage to see if we could be moved to a twin - luckily we were and housekeeping came in to split the beds and change the linen.
Location to city centre. Excellent service from all staff. Nice comfortable room.
Nothing not to like.
Poor cleanliness, the beds were not well dressed at all on my second night. ( what a shame). The wash hand sink had residue of stains on the edge. The Wi-Fi was off all night. I paid £30 for parking ( 2 days ) but lost my space when I drove out. so parking may have been over subscribed. Why keep taking money when car park is full.
Close to shopping centre and arena.

The worry if there was room in the hotel car park!? There was! Phew!
Fantastic convenient location, very helpful friendly staff, lovely Welsh breakfast
Friendly staff and a good sized room.
Waiting for the lifts. The Hotel needs more.
The location was as central as it gets. The room was nice. The bathroom was amazing.
The price was too high for the comfort and size of the room: £189.
We liked the position, which gave very ease access to St Davids and the centre of Cardiff. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was large too, with big, fluffy towels.
Compared to other hotels, £284 for two nights room only seemed very high.
Near the centre Receptionists were good Room was a good size
Room not properly cleaned the first night. Bath plug leaked Bedside lights not secure Room a bit shabby: all the money seems to have been spent on the foyer, bar etc. Sound on TV seemed to pick up interference
The room & bed were clean well equipped & comfy
The bar area had no atmosphere & was rather uncomfortable after the show we couldn't get anything to eat even sandwiches / cheese or meats board etc would have been fine. We ordered room service which was good but a cheese board with wine would have been lovely
The hotel was lovely staff were very helpfull and freindly will definitely stay again.
There was nothing to dislike. Location the best for us. Straight out the front and into John Lewis, motorpoint 100 metres down the road. Free wifi.
Nothing to dislike, apart from room service finished at 11pm.
Poor reception after 13 hours travel then a room with no one working lights to be transferd to another room that smelled
Ever thing else OK.
Bar staff put fingers inside glass tops before dispensing a drink and also had fingers placed around the top of the glass (instead of at the bottom) as it was presented on the bar/table for the customer.
