Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff    

Received an upgrade to a double which was very spacious. I saw the singles which were miniscule. The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. Something that only happened at the Trident in Delhi--the receptionist recognized me and called me by name, having only visited to drop off some luggage the day before.

Excellent situation and town centre parking.

The recepption staff, particularly Rashmi were very helpful.

room 1106 disappointing...too small and fire doors not a good feature. I have stayed many times at this hotel brought friends this time and was let down by their room.

clean but not up to the usual Radisson standards I normally rate them much higher

only two lifts waited 15 mins to get to 18th floor, bed not really comfortable ,waited over a hour for food in the bar

Disappointing view ( someone has to have it!). Breakfast a bit canteen like ( noisy, clattery, cheap bread for the toast). No socket near bed for phone/gadget charging ( no hotels seem to have this).

Given that it was a Radisson group hotel the expectation was always high. Hotel did not have sufficient parking space, had to go and search for parking somewhere else. Also, some of the staff did not understand English properly, this caused unnecessary delays for us.

Very comfortable and easy location

The room we had was facing the railway line and was a bit noisy. Also there was a fan in the bathroom which we couldn't turn off and made a noise through the night

What a beautiful hotel. We were lucky enough to have a room on the 21st floor overlooking the city. You could even see the Brecon Beacons in the distance. A perfect stay!

Nothing negative at all about our stay. First class!

I checked in a room and I paid for the same however when I left my room for sightseeing, on my return in evening I came to know that my room have been allocated to someone else. The reason they gave me is that there was some fault in their system and my luggage was neatly kept in cupboard. So they thought that it was left to be checked out. So whenever you stay with this hotel please keep your luggage scattered before you leave for sightseeing.

Everything. Excellent hotel we had a junior suite which was first class. Staff very efficient,polite and very helpful. Location was great. Cant wait to return.

The brekfast and room service was excellent couldn't work the expresso machine though and tried several times!!!!! Would of liked a double room as we are a couple and had two single beds but other than a fab hotel

Thought the staff were fantastic

Systems were down on arrival had to wait a while to get checked in. Due to the inconvieniance I thought the staff coped very very well.

I liked how they sorted out the over booking problem my girlfriend had persuaded them about a few things but it was sorted with ease didn't have to pay a penny to stay at the hotel which was excellant. The view from my room was brilliant and the comfort off the was amazing. The room that we stayed in was nice and spacious and the bathroom was really nice and clean like the whole room that was one really good thing about the room was that it was immaculate. Room service didn't take long when ordered and the food was off a Michelin star standard. One word to describe it was brilliant. I would also like to thank Johnlees one off the workers there in my books he should be promoted so next time I stay there I want this to be taken into consideration he works really hard and sorts things out. As a soldier which I am it was easy to see his strong points and that is motivation and initiative he works so hard and doesn't leave til the job is done he should play a higher role in the managerial chain rather than just on the front desk. If this is taken in to respect I want him to play a more managerial role because it doesn't matter about qualifications in places it's just how hard people work. Please take this in to your view as a hotel chain. If anyone deserves a promotion it should be him.

Loved our stay excellent location for shopping and nightlife was brilliant. The breakfast was amazing they catered for everyone and we loved the 12pm checkout. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean and bed super comfy
