Lovely,open space in reception area. Times newspaper available...very friendly staff both in reception and in the bar. Use of spa was very relaxing. Good tv and tea/coffee in room. Comfortable bed. £3.75 for 80p Mars Bar. Apart from that, everything was super.

The staff were excellent. From the reception to the restaurant and bar staff everyone who I encountered was friendly and helpful.The room was clean and the bathroom was lovely. Pool was only really a plunge pool and there was some noise from the street during the night but only what you would expect in such a central location.

Most likely the best hotel I stayed in ever. Staff was very helpful during my stay. Facilities are clean and good.

Rooms clean and comfortable I booked 3 twin rooms but on arrival was told you only had doubles available so we had to share beds which made the trip less comfortable. If you book and pay in advance for twin rooms that is what you should be given.

They provide a fairly decent buffet breakfast, and the bathroom is an excellent size. Beyond that I was disappointed with the room I booked the hotel because of the gym and spa facilities. However upon arrival I was told it would be £10 extra per person to use the swimming pool, and I could find no mention of this in their website. My wife is pregnant and swimming really helps so I was shocked I had to pay this! The air con in the room is non-existent and it charges London prices for everything but isn't in London. I won't be going again.

We liked the décor. We had to complain twice about a large stain on the bed cover. Staff came to our room twice, not sure what they did the first visit as we were out. We were shocked to see the large stain was still there. We then phoned down and the cover was changed. We ordered tea and toast in the bar, and the tea was bought to the table and the waitress then asked us if we wanted brown or white bread? So the tea was cold when the toast arrived.

Close to town. We waited 30minutes to check in! There was a problem with their system.We asked if we could leave our bags and come back.After 30mins they said we could.The manager was very unhelpful.They gave us an upgraded room but the tv did not work!We had to call for maintenance.

I have had dreadful experiences both times I have stayed at this hotel.... Noisy room, room not cleaned, not technical support, no room service delivered. Awoken early on the wrong morning for a taxi.

Perfect for my needs on this occasion. Adequate facilities, fast check-in and out, on site car parking and in town location. Quality of decor could be better and my room overlooked the reception so felt inclined to keep my blind down.

The welcome was good, the facilities likewise. The absolute best thing was that the bed was wonderfully comfortable, room quiet with quality toiletries in luxury bathroom. Cold plates for full English at buffet breakfast..you must get plate warmers ...unforgivable really in a hotel of this standard.
