The receptionist on the weekend of our stay was professional and a delight, she should be commended. Other staff were professional and friendly in both the reception area and the breakfast dining room. To be able to make those statements about a city centre hotel is very particular as we have had less that satisfactory experiences in the past. I understand that breakfast was exstrinsic to the room charge; I think that this is a little steep. However, I am sure that there are sound reasons behind this.

Perfect location, less than 5 mins walk to covent garden and west end, Nice room (although not huge). Right in the heart of the action yet still quiet and relaxing inside, opposite the free and very good national gallery.

Excellent location for shows and Convent Garden. Bathroom was dangerous. Shower leaked profusely onto slippery tile floor, and this problem seemed to be known to staff without anything being done about it.

Good location. Reasonable sized rooms, clean & light. Decent sized shower. Pleasant staff. I would recommend if you just want a decent room for one or two nights. It has the appearance of an annex to the adjacent Hampshie Hotel. If you need more the just a room from a hotel I would not recommend. It is classed as a 4 star - I would question this!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well located for a city break and close to the tube station. The room was very comfortable and luxurious, the bathroom was perfect for my needs. There is only one small critisism and this is not just aimed at this hotel but many hotels.....most women like to use their own hairdryer and there is never a plug near to a mirror!

This is a repeat visit to the hotel. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The location is great ! We used the Tube one time only in an 8-day period. Museums, theatres, restaurants, sights are within walking distance. There is lots of construction in the area and I know that there are plans to expand the Leicester Square hotel. We hope to return next year at the same time and since the location can't be beat--- will stay at the Radisson Hampshire or the Trafalgar Square Thistle. The bathroom is very compact and my partner thought the tub was too high for an older person to get into.

The hotel was very good, the staff excellent & professional and in a central position. Food and accommodation were first class, although I think overpriced. The on-going work outside the hotel is off putting and annoying, if not simply an inconvenience. Wrongly charged me over £250 a month in advance (error on their part which was eventually credited following our visit - contrary to Booking.com's policy of paying on arrival)

Due to major building works the room was extremely noisy and despite being moved to another room after complaining this was even nosier leaving me to check-out a day early. The hotel cant be blamed for the works but needs to advise bookers of this serious issue.

The staff were very approachable, efficient and customer focused with a clear desire to not only provide for your needs on this visit, but to attract your business into the future. This is a commendable approach in such a competitive market. The room I stayed in (307) was very large, quiet and comfortable, however for the size of the room the TV screen was way too small (from the bed, where most people like to relax and watch TV). A desk chair would facilitate in-room work, although on check-out I was advised that I could have asked for a chair and it would have been provided immediately (24/7).

Location is perfect. Walking distace to Trafalagar Square, Picailly Circus and all of the west end theaters. Breakfast is outstanding. Staff was wonderful. Especially helpful were Barbara at front desk who went out of her way to find another room on a lower floor for us when I explained my wife ad just had knee surgery. Hasim on the front door and front desk was always extremely helpful with directions on getting around the City and Meron in the Restaurant was an absolute jewel. We will definitely return to this hotel. Did not like the stairs (think a fire escape) outside our room window.

We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite - very luxurious and seemingly very recently fitted out. I don't know how big other rooms are but the quality of service and fittings was excellent, as was the breakfast. The only snag was roadworks outside but I think these will be finished by end of December 2011.
