room, wifi, smart tv,location, 2 minute walk from DLR station
We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so special and welcome. Our room was stunning - the bathroom and the view was amazing! Everything was perfect - we will definitely stay there again!!
easy to get to
lots of building work outside of hotel, very poor access for car,s bed very uncomftable , breakfast only average
Close to DLR Easy to travel to O2 Views of River Restaurant and bar very good - look for offers Staff very helpful and courteous
Length of check in
Loved the location on the Thames river, plus the personal service the staff provided.
Could not sleep on the bed as it was incredibly uncomfortable. The installation of thick memory foam mattresses would go a long way to making this hotel number 1 in quality and value for money.
Got upgraded to the penthouse suite, awesome facilities, would recommend this place to anyone
Can't fault the hotel
I like it. Every thing is perfect
The location was very far and canary whaf was far a bit and they told me no shuttle is avialable that time..i missed my flight because of that
£20 very expensive for Buffet Breakfast No anti slip mat on tiled bathroom floor directly outside the shower very loud building works outside poor loo lid - slammed down- not soft close. For a 4 star not good enough.
I loved the staff they were great and really friendly and helpful.
The beds were a bit hard for all of us but we didn't complain. I did ask for twin beds but when we arrived they were queen beds, oh and being from the North thought the food was a bit pricey but beautiful. Would stay again.
Beautiful surroundings and excellent food and staff were very helpful .the hotel is worth every penny .will defiantly be back again soon amazing experience.
Location near Canary Wharf, quiet room, good view overlooking the water, very attentive staff, near Docklands Light Rail station, shuttle service to Canary Wharf in the mornings, very nice spa facilities
Room was fairly warm, but the fan needed to cool it down was a bit loud to have on at night; would also have preferred option of a thinner pillow
The staff were very helpful in giving directions to railway parking the car for me and all the nice things cannot fault the attention they gave in any department. The view from the restaurant across the Thames is excellent and I found breakfast very good value, well presented and cooked well. The bedrooms were clean, shower good the only complant that I had was I kept hitting my head on the lamp shades by the bed. Overall I would recommend the hotel and would return especially for a base for the O2.
I found the decor a little strange having a white stag in the foyer but having said that my wife liked it. I found the decoration around the hotel a little jaded. The seating in the bar and restaurant was at best uncomfortable and the chairs in the restaurant too low for the tables. We ate on the first days stay at lunchtime as we were going to the O2 for the tennis, the menu was poor and this was matched by the cooking so all in all not a good experience. We did not eat in for evening dinner so I could not comment. A lot of building work going on in the area but other than restricting access gave no problems.
Nice concierge+trainee Fab bathroom Lovely view to 02 Very convenient to 02 by taxi
Breakfast overpriced and coffee/tea cold-had to ask for hot fresh pots all three days. Reception girls quite frosty Bar was freezing-stayed for one soft drink!
Tv didn't work in the bathroom
The rooms, the friendly bar, the sweet trolley and the little shop around the corner which sold everything. Also the free bus to canary wharf.
We booked one night originally on booking.com. When we went to amend the booking it wouldn't allow us to add an extra night so we another separate booking. When we checked in we explained this and they said we would just have to come down in the morning, check out and check back in to the same room. We did this and was told we had to pack all of our belongings and move to another room which was inconvenient and we thought unnecessary. The staff weren't apologetic and made us feel as though we had done something wrong!!! We've stayed here three times now and due to this we feel that we may not stay again.
Near DLR, so easy to change onto tube lines. Great view from the terrace section of the restuarant of the O2.
Would have liked a bath mat in the bathroom. And thought that such a modern hotel would have had a sensor flush for the toilet.
The feel of the hotel is expensive. The facilities were very good and the room was more than comfortable.
I had asked for a room with a view of the O2 which we didn't get. That's all I could complain about
I like that the staff were kind enough to try and make up for your mistakes and incorrect booking description.
I didn't like that it clearly stated when I booked through booking.com that I was paying for a RIVERSIDE deluxe room. Had I known I was going to receive a standard room, overlooking a car park and construction, I would have booked the cheaper room in the first place. I paid more for the nicer room and received a below par room. I'm disgusted with the misrepresentation and miscommunication with you and the venue.
Great hotel, more Bedroom space than the norm in London, links to Central London without the hassle and the noise.
Boat transfer to the O2 not available - presumably seasonal.
maliek was excellent on reception and we were really treated well.
Our nights sleep was ruined by an anoying noise from the air conditioning all night which we hadn't noticed earlier as not in room. Dissapointed with spa area
Location, room, staff, food, general ambiance, great wi-fi service
I did not like the scent of the body wash but idea of body wash great
Decor was modern and very recent Lovely lobby Great bed Quiet Nice and helpful staff Very convenient to the O2 arena - although I thought I could walk but you have to take the DLR one stop and then the metro one stop. DLR is pretty fast for getting into the city and not that crowded.
Lots of construction around the hotel but that's not their fault and temporary. Street to the DLR was kind of scary at night. Area not that beautiful but it's being updated fast.
I loved the hotel's restaurant! The food was delicious! Will definitely return again! Our room was very clean! Cannot fault anything!
Parking... It was a bit confusing! Valet parking seemed optional but ended up being compulsory, therefore more costly.
Fantastic views of the Thames and the O2 from our room and restaurant. Room was very well equipped - everything you could possibly need. Staff on reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely decor especially in reception and Spa
