staff greeting and helpfulness throughout the stay
The staff are very pleasant and helpful; rooms are quite spacious and have all usual facilities ;use of spa; ease of getting into the city centre ,either walking or taxi
not a bad experience exactly, but still puzzled as to why guests have to pay £7.00 a night for the hotel car park-surely paying guests should be able to use the car park for free? bar v expensive too !
The bed wasn't as comfortable as it could be.
Great hotel, smart, clean and comfortable. Staff very nice. Spa was also very nice.
Pillows were uncomfortable and sofa bed was too soft - you could feel the springs
Staff very friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant Filini is well worth a visit. Again here the staff were excellent.
The hotel was within walking distance from bars and resterauents.
The modern feel of the hotel, the closeness of the centre of the city, literally a 5 minute walk over the pedestrian bridge over the river into the market square. The friendly and efficient staff
The fan in the bathroom coming on unexpectedly by the maintenance crew which we were told was usual very early in the mornings, 6.am. and the dirty room service trays left in the corridor all day and sometimes overnight, also having to ask for our room to be cleaned at 4.pm in the afternoon
very clean , good location , staff very helpful , good nights sleep , spa very relaxing
The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. From the minute we arrived to leaning felt we were well look after. Especially Toni in the restaurant where we ate on Friday night. She is a credit to your hotel.
Convenient location and parking, Stunning view from the bedroom window. Friendly welcoming staff on reception.
Bedroom was very stuffy, but if the aircon was turned on it blew a terrible smell of cigarette smoke into the room so we had to leave it off and have the windows open to get rid of the smell. Beakfast was poor, lukewarm tea, some of the cooked breakfast ingredients (potatoes and mushrooms) tasted awful.
the gym was crowded and not clean
The hotel overall was excellent
Car parking faculty was poor
Wifi didn't recognise my booking. No Buscuits in room. Breakfast service was appalling. No menu given. I had to approach staff several times and the food was not as good as I've experienced at other radisson. I would not stay again. Premier inn would be a much better option I wish I'd booked there instead.
Great location, lovely staff, very clean amazing food would recomend
Whole hotel is lovely
Room and bed good as was location
At Dinner had to ask for the wine list twice, then had to go and get one and go back to order. This now 20 minutes plus since sitting down. Also had to request someone to come to the Table to take other drink orders
The hotel staff were great, very freindly. The location to the center of durham was also great. Lovely pool and spa and the rooms were very clean, modern with everything you could require. Will stay again.
Small thing but no biscuits in the room with the tea and coffee but I really am scraping the barrel to find a negative about our stay.
Peaceful, good location
Awful breakfast, they were short staffed. On crutches I had to bar the doorway to the kitchen to get some coffee after asking 4 times. They said no to pancakes (on the special menu), the porridge was horrible, they didnt bring my waffle despite getting the duty manager out - worst service of my life. They gave us a bottle of wine as it had been so bad. Poached eggs were raw inside. There is more but I can't be bothered to type it !
Booked several months in advance so we got a very good deal on a business class room which included an hour and a half free bar, free parking and complementary breakfast.
Comfort lovely staff and relaxing and very clean
Extremely comfortable en-suite room, very friendly and efficient staff, very clean and excellent health club facilities.
Had to pay for parking.
The position and cleanliness of the hotel. Good pool and spa. The friendly staff, especially Natalie who served on the bar and the manager who came promptly to rescue us after our mishap with the safe! The breakfast was excellent, even though it was busy on Sunday morning.
Not a bad experience as such, but disappointed that we had to pay car parking charges.
Facilities and location good. Food at the restaurant very good. Spa good
Unfortunately I asked for gluten free bread at breakfast which was stale and white and most unpleasant. Please could you upgrade to a good quality version.
Location of hotel, staff very friendly
We had breakfast on last day buffet style and a bit pricey particularly as most of the hot food was only luke warm.
