I took my gf here for a break and thought i would spend a bit more on a lovely hotel. The carpets in the corridors & room were very old and somewhat stained, went down to the & pool in the evening no one was there couldnt find the sauna either no signs. Water was yellow in the bathroom.Great location, but definately not worth the money. The carpets were old & dirty and stained in the hallways and the room. The water in the bathroom was yellow and took forever to drain down the sink. |

The size of the room was excellent, we were travelling with our young son and there was ample room for the travel cot and buggy. The swimming pool was lovely although the changing facilities were a little small. The provisions for dining with a small child were poor. The only place to eat other than the bar was the 'lounge' where there were only low, coffee tables and sofas, the high chairs provided were for use with a table (i.e. no tray attached) and were too high to use. Breakfast was expensive so we found a v nice deli a 2 minute walk up the road instead. |

I think the location and value for money is what first attracted me to book at the Radisson three years ago. This would be my second stay and I have recommended it to all my friends. |

We were only in the hotel for one night and did not have enough time to sample all the facitlities but we found the staff pleasant and the room very comfortable. The location on the Royal Mile was the reason for our original selection of the hotel and this did not disappoint. |

Great Hotel! I like the location as its on the doorstep to shops and attractions. The rooms are very clean, big , quiet and the layout of rooms well appointed for the cost. The front desk staffs & House keeping staff are very good, very friendly and always smile! The pillows are too soft! |

the staff were v helpful, its a gr8 location right in the middle of the royal mile, the tourist spots &nite life!! The beds were so comfy. Temperature wise it was a little on the cold side. A little more heat would have been nice just because it was fine in the day but during the nite the temp would drop & we'd wake up cold. Blankets were available from reception but we didn't want to be a bother. Also the room service menu was fairly poor ¬ up 2date with wat was actually available-but dont leave any of this put u off, the positives far out number the 2very small niggles we had. Its a gr8 hotel in a gr8 location with gr8staff. Enjoy. |

The service was very good and the rooms were a great size. The free wireless internet service was excellent. They had printing services at the hotel but there was no one available to explain despite advertising a support team. However reception did try and help as best as they could. |

Very helpful staff, provided me with a quiet room and a late check out on request. Perfectly adequate room. There was insufficient lighting in the room, consequently I left some dark clothing in a dark cupboard. The sauna was a bit grubby (although unfortunately quite similar to most UK sauna facilities). |

Great location, only 5 mins walk from the castle. Friendly staff and good facilities. Room colour scheme (being only black, grey and white) made the room dark even during the day time. |

Its location in proximity to the Castle and shopping The Bar was freezing and I had to wear my coat like many other Guests. Some were even eating in the restaurant with their coats on which I thought was bad form. Putting us in Room 263 beside the nightclub opposite, was disappointing since other rooms were available. Hence the room change. Staff very helpful. Should I mention the fire alarm at two in the morning and the evacuation. |

I liked the location and the feel of the hotel. Room was nice and spacious enough and had a safe in it. Staff were quite pleasant and willing to be of service. It had a modern feel within an old setting and structure. Overall, a rather cool hotel and we had quite a pleasant stay. These would be in the details, which preclude it from getting an excellent rating. Examples are: no proper dresser or shelves to put in clothes, small bath tub, price, expensive breakfast. |

Superb location in a clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Leisure facility was basic but adequate and we enjoyed a leisurely pre-breakfast swim. The room was modern and spacious with contemporary decor. 1. The constant drone of the (I think) air-conditioning unit was a source of annoyance throughout the night. 2. Having been directed to our table for breakfast we were only informed about the buffet service. We would have liked some porridge but as it was apperantly not available we opted for something else. We later discovered that other items, including porridge, were available on request when we heard others who were being seated near to us being told about this option. |
