Excelent location adiqate facilities good size room with reasonable view. helpfull staff and pleasant reception. Excelent on site parking (extra charge) Room cleaning missed two empty wine bottles which were left under the bed from previous ocupants. No common sauna just one in each changing room. Coridors dowdey and cleaning carts often left in coridoors most of the day. |

Central location, design hotel and overall a very good experience Breakfast is expensive and not included in the room price, hopefully there are plenty of options within 5 mins walking from the hotel |

The location of the hotel on the Royal Mile was good. There were stains on the carpet in our room. The room was very dark, as there was only one small window lightening the entire room, which made it bleak. The heating was capped so that we were unable to turn the heating up when we were cold, as we stayed in November, so we had to request blankets twice, to keep us warm. The bathroom was very cold, as it had a stone floor and no heated towel rail, or any form of heating. The breakfast was terrible; the fruit was old and drying out, the scrambled eggs were turning colour, the potatoes were cold, bacon very fatty etc. When we left the lady on the desk didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or wished us a pleasent journey home. It is in the details that this hotel misses the mark. |

The view from our room towards Leith was good. I also liked the hotel's location in the centre of old Edinburgh. It allowed us to walk to all major tourist attractions, the bus to Leith was outside the hotel door as was a wide variety of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly on arrival. Taxis were available on departure without having to prebook. The shower screen was a bit tired and could have done with being replaced. |

The location was excellent and the leisure facilities a bonus providing the pool had no more than 2 other people in it. The gym was also a bonus. The bed valances(around the bed fram) were stained and there were strange plastic backed mats on the bed - which were totally unsuitable to have on fresh linen for sleeping! it gave a feel of somthing that was unclean/santitary |

The hotel was great, very modern and in the ideal location! we would deffinetly go back. The only thing that we didn't like was the lighting in the room was very poor but this would not put us of returning. |

First time in edinburgh, and had heard a lot about the royal mile and the castle etc .Hotel was central for touring the area and getting to know the city . We checked in at approx 8.15 am and receptionist (male ) said we were lucky and our room was ready .We proceeded to our room and found a couple in bed .returned to reception and were informed our room would be ready in approx one hour this was not the case and after 4 visists back to reception we were allocated a room at 1300 hrs .I would have accepted this at the start as I was not expecting a room until 14.00 hrs .Its the misleading advice that annoyed me . |

Beautiful breakfast with a huge choice of food. Friendly staff willing to help with any questions. Great location. Best in Edinburgh.. Would have liked to have a sauna with my husband, maybe a sauna beside pool would encourage people to use the facilities, there's definately room at the Radisson in Edinburgh for this. |

very relaxing, lovely rooms and fantastic facilities. the spa was fantastic and we both had theraputic massage. staff were very pleasant and helpful. we booked double room but on arrival had twin beds which was sorted out within 5 mins. i ordered a bottle of red wine to be in our room on arrival as it was my husbands birthday but the wine in the room was white..........this was sorted also within 5 minutes..........however this did not bother us as the staff were magnificent and very efficient. had a fab time at this hotel and would use it again. |

The hotel was central for all the city's attractions. The beds were comfortable, and the room was fairly spacious. There was no atmosphere in the hotel. I like to be anonymous but I did not feel part of the place at all. The Itchie Coo area had terrible seating and the underside of the tables were so rough that I snagged new trousers. |

Just greatly situated half-way up the royal mile, ideal for major tourist sights and also for nightlife Room had not been cleaned before our arrival (dirty bedlinen and abthroom); this was quickly sorted out by the hotel staff but gave a disappointing first impression |

I enjoyed the breakfast and the location was great! Right on the Royal mile, taxis in front and in the middle of everything. |
