Radisson BLU Hotel Edinburgh

Hotellin sijainti historiallisella Royal Milella on aivan loistava! Lentokenttäbussilla pääsee parin korttelin päähän ja kaikki muukin on kävelymatkan päässä. Henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja pieniin ongelmiin löytyi ratkaisu nopeasti ja mutkattomasti.

Kadulta kuuluu jonkin verran melua öisin, mutta sivukadun puolella 6. kerroksessa se ei pahasti häirinnyt.

Kokonaisuudessaan hotelli oli erittäin siisti ja mukava. Sijainti oli oikein hyvä ja palvelu mallikasta. Takseja oli saatavilla heti hotellin oven edestä.

Uima-allas osasto oli suljettu remontin vuoksi.

Very helpful staff. Resident's bar also very good. Nice bed linen.

Our room was connected to another room by a door, we could hear everything going on in the room next door.

What a great location on the Royal Mile and such a lovely bar with great cocktails

Housekeeping was not as scrupulous as expected, but problems were quickly dealt with by the excellent staff

The location of the hotel on the Royal Mile was good.

There were stains on the carpet in our room. The room was very dark, as there was only one small window lightening the entire room, which made it bleak. The heating was capped so that we were unable to turn the heating up when we were cold, as we stayed in November, so we had to request blankets twice, to keep us warm. The bathroom was very cold, as it had a stone floor and no heated towel rail, or any form of heating. The breakfast was terrible; the fruit was old and drying out, the scrambled eggs were turning colour, the potatoes were cold, bacon very fatty etc. When we left the lady on the desk didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or wished us a pleasent journey home. It is in the details that this hotel misses the mark.

The view from our room towards Leith was good. I also liked the hotel's location in the centre of old Edinburgh. It allowed us to walk to all major tourist attractions, the bus to Leith was outside the hotel door as was a wide variety of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly on arrival. Taxis were available on departure without having to prebook.

The shower screen was a bit tired and could have done with being replaced.

The hotel was great, very modern and in the ideal location! we would deffinetly go back.

The only thing that we didn't like was the lighting in the room was very poor but this would not put us of returning.

First time in edinburgh,and had heard a lot about the royal mile and the castle etc .Hotel was central for touring the area and getting to know the city .

We checked in at approx 8.15 am and receptionist (male ) said we were lucky and our room was ready .We proceeded to our room and found a couple in bed .returned to reception and were informed our room would be ready in approx one hour this was not the case and after 4 visists back to reception we were allocated a room at 1300 hrs .I would have accepted this at the start as I was not expecting a room until 14.00 hrs .Its the misleading advice that annoyed me .
