Friendly and helpful staff
Couldn't get a spa treatment booking
very helpful staff and a relaxing atmosphere excellant location
Nice hotel friendly helpful staff very central on the Royal Mile
We had a street-facing room that was very noisy despite triple glazed windows. Ask for a room in the back.
Location. Breakfasts. Surroundings
Excellent hotel in an ideal position.
great location,good facilities,car parking easy,enough lifts
Location of the hotel was brilliant.short walk to the Christmas markets and located in the middle of a variety of pubs and restaurants.
Location, spa, bedroom size
The hotel is in an excellent position for the centre of Edinburgh, the facilities are good for a city break
The location was good because we were going to the playhouse to watch a show
Having to pay for the car parking even when your a guest staying there, £12.50 for one night. The bed had 4 pillows which was 2 each and they were rubbish it was like putting your head on 2 sheets of paper they just sunk right onto the matress
Helpful friendly staff, great location
Everything a ****hotel should be. Had breakfast in room. Great attention to detail. Went for a spa treatment best I ever had, very experienced beauticians / therapists. Great choice of meals room service. Can't really fault it. Would go back again
Well our room overlooking an alley with noisy nightclub till 3 am. If you have had a great day in Edinburgh and tired it won't bother you. Although I had a great day kept me awake till 3.30 and that's with double glazing.
Location is very good and central.
We didn't receive service with a smile, in fact the staff seemed miserable! But they were polite enough.
Being able to check in at 2pm allowed us to explore our surroundings. Hotel in the centre of the tourist area & a 10min stroll to hit the shops & Christmas markets. Parking at the hotel is a bonus in the centre of Edinburgh & we left the car there for both days with the staff happy to validate the ticket just prior to our departure 8 hours after checkout at noon. Will definately visit this hotel again
Can't fault anything!
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location is excellent, within walking distance of most attractions. Availability of parking. We were upgraded to a suite, which obviously helped this review.
The location, the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. I also liked that we had an early check-in. The standard check out time was 12 noon as well which was excellent
Small points but the fact there is no communal sauna was a slight problem and in some areas it needed a bit of a clean up.
£5.30 pint of peroni on George street!
A very good central location for shops, site seeing and eating out. 10 minutes walk from the station.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the Radisson Blu team, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left for home. The room in which we stayed was immaculate; breakfasts were superb and the breakfast dining room team were charming and delightful throughout. Our first Radisson Blu experience and one we plan to repeat again in the summer
Only the wind and the rain, which we can't in all truth attribute to the Radisson Blu!
Location! Breakfast Buffet Service
Wasn't as clean for a 4 star hotel...expected better standards. Hotel had good infrastructure but needs refurbishment. Dirty looking carpets...delapidated woodwork. Just looks tired and worn. Considering the location and the actual building could be so much better. Spa area not great either not inviting when reception is in the pool area. Looks like a leisure centre than a relaxing spa area.
Carpet to the rooms needs updating
The welcome at reception was more than excellent. Roy, I think his name was, gave us lots of advice and tips to make the best of the brilliant location on the Mile. The bed was so comfortable and the duvet was very luxurious.
The pool is a bit on the small side. However I would have used it if there had been bath robes in the room (AS IN THE MANCHESTER R.B!). I did leave a note for the maid on the card that says 'if there is anything you need' requesting one but to no avail.
Staff are great and location is excellent.
The carpets in the corridors are worn and very dirty and really need replacing.
The welcome by the staff on reception and the comfort of the room.
