Location was superb room was really nice and staff were very welcoming and friendly
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day. We enjoyed the warm pool, although small, was great after a busy day! Although the hotel is on the Royal Mile we never heard any outside noise though the night.
I didn't like that there were no private changing facilities in the changing rooms. The rooms were very spacious but could do with being updated
The locations of this hotel couldn’t be better as its walking distance from everything. The customer service was excellent and our room very comfortable. I also loved the touch of a ‘pillow menu’. When we phoned down to reception requesting an iron it was brought up to us within minutes. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommended this hotel and I will certainly stay there again.
Hotel was in brilliant location to everthing we needed. Would defently use hotel again.
The carpets could have done with changing.
Checked in and a very friendly Brian at the desk kindly upgraded us to business class. Thank you for making a lovely weekend
Rooms very clean and great breakfast
Tired and dirty looking hallway carpets.
Everything! Would definitely recommend hotel and area.
The best thing about staying in the Radisson blu hotel would have to be the great friendly welcome, the cleanliness and the willingness of staff to ensure that our stay was relaxing and enjoyable! House keeping were extremely polite and made us feel very comfortable!
the only thing that we could say here is the price of alcohol/wine was a little pricey.
The staff were extremely friendly & helpful
Had a lovely stay & would recommend the radison blue. Only problem we encountered in the morning was workmen doing noisy repairs / decorating to the room above , we stayed. in the room until just before 12 and the noise was continual the whole morning, banging , scraping & quite loud. Spoilt our long lie and quiet study time before we had to go to a meeting.
Staff and leisure facilities
Pillows - best I've ever slept on
Friendly staff. Very comfortable. Breakfast in bed at no extra cost as we had paid up front.
Hard to get on wi fi, received no mail during my stay, minor detail to be honest. Had to pay for hotel parking which in my experience is unusual.
a) Hotel from outside and location b) Bar area c) Breakfast choices d) Beds and pillows were nice
a) 5 Star rating from Booking.com b) Decoration upstairs near rooms was very poor. c) Carpets were awful d) Bathroom very small e) Room rate very expensive for what we got. f) Car Park rates were high
The first thing that excited me, was that we had a bed menu. You could chop and change everything from mattress to pillow, to inner and outer covers to suit your needs. The staff were incredible, nothing was too much for them, friendliness at its best. I really have no complaint at all.
I can't think of a single thing we didn't like. Maybe the positives outweighed the negatives so much, that I've forgotten the negatives.
They were lovely, helpful and nothing to fault.
My grown up daughter and I shared a twin room which was a good size, nice toiletries, everything very clean. Good location. Quiet at night. Staff very friendly.
central location; taxi rank outside
Any problem we had was swiftly corrected, such as heating problem, which was quickly solved by a free upgrade to a business room and free movie package. Well done!!.
For a 4* hotel it is ready for a refurb.,especially in the communal areas above the entrance floor.
Friendly staff great location, stunning building, good parking Looking to return in February!
The location of the hotel is perfect for wandering around Edinburgh old town and not to far a walk to the busy princess street shops and restaurants.
I can't think anything that we weren't happy with on our short break.
Choice of duvets and pillows. Close to main station and art gallery.
Rumpled carpet.Large duvet wasn't big enough to cover both of us ( we are average sized). Very dusty blinds.
the location of hotel was excellent for both the royal mile and princess street shopping and if you needed to take a taxi there was a rank right outside front door of hotel .
chairs stacked out in corridor which gave it a bit of a untidy look
For this hotel to be in the upper class of accommodation in Edinburgh it needs to be of a better state the carpets in the corridors are a disgrace stains on them that could never be removed just needs an update for what it costs. Went to our room opened the door and the last person had been smoking in the room not nice but not a problem to get us another room.previous trips to city we have stayed in the George hotel this hotel has to step up to be as good as it.
