Location was perfect for castle ,shopping,restrauntes great place

Very friendly and efficient reception, porter etc. Excellent location and on the spot parking worked well. Good room outlook.

Poor room design. Absolutely NO drawer space and minute bedside tables ( the phone alone occupied one of them almost completely). Breakfast was OK without being special.

The location on High Street was within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, tour buses and plenty of local restaurants.

Have stayed in a number of hotels in the Radisson group including Bangkok and Sydney(Darling Harbour one. Always been very happy and this visit has served to reinforce our high opinion of Radisson Hotels.

The staff were excellent especially Tony (concierge) and the rooom was very clean.

It would be a good idea to allow guests to reserve a parking space if required when booking a room as the car park is very small and could be impossible.

There is a problem with the design of the rooms, we stayed in room 535. There was not a single drawer to store our weeks supply of clothing - just a double wardrobe. The impression of this design was overnight business visitor rather than tourist.

I came to Edinburgh with a group of my English friends to show them the beautiful Scottish hospitality and they were not disappointed, we had a fantastic weekend and I am planning on revisiting in August for the fringe.

The friendly staff and the service at the hotel were both excellent! We tried the buffet breakfast twice and it was more than sufficient, there was plenty of choise for everyone. We were staying in a standard twin room facing the inner yard and the room was very quiet and we had a good night's sleep every night of our 8 nights at the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows and the duvets were very good quality! There's a taxi rank right outside the hotel and that was very convinient.
