Hotel falls short on many levels. It's an airport hotel so gets a fair amount of use and abuse. That's a given. Sadly it's not kept up very well. The carpeting is filthy and long past the expiration date. The interiors are worn out. The a/c when I was there was broken in common areas and it was blazing hot. My room a/c barely worked and was off when I checked in so my room was 100+ degrees and never got cool. It was an unbearably uncomfortable night. Not satisfying for the price they charge. This is certainly no 4 star hotel. 2 at best. The up side is the location. Right in the middle of the Manchester airport. So you fall out of bed and onto your flight. That's about the only positive though. Unaddressed wear and tear. Yes airport hotels get abused but that's no excuse for filthy worn out carpets. If 'Blu' is meant to represent higher quality this hotel fails and falls well short of the goal. That said, if you have an early flight it'll 'do'. Not exactly good enough is it...?

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The views from the bedroom over the airport were very good. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and very tasty food. The cost of the meals and drinks were far too expensive

There was no fuss. Very efficient and friendly staff. Nice food and excellent surroundings. The enclosed walkway to the hotel from the airport and the convenience to rail station and airport was great. Within 10 mins of checking out I was in terminal 1and ready to board my flight. Will be staying again.

For those flying out from Manchester it could not be any closer, the hotel was very quiet too. My room was spacious, warm and comfortable. I had bed and breakfast and the food available for breakfast was plentiful, varied and tasty. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is now my first choice when flying from Manchester. I can not think of anything negative to say about it.

We used the Radisson blu as a stop over when travelling from a long haul holiday. The hotel is in an ideal situation for transit to other forms of transport between airport and home. The hotel staff were outstanding. Had a great view of the run way. The room appeared to be a little 'tired' the floor was worn behind the dressing table chair, the tv console was not ideal, the tv was to high and in such a position that only one person could see it properly and did not make for relaxing viewing. The battery had gone in the remote control, being short my sister could not reach the controls on the tv. There was no shower gel in the bathroom.

Superb business class room on the 9th floor. Excellent 2 minute undercover walk to the train station and then a 14 minute ride in the city, highly recommended

The location is good. The room was far too hot, the fridge was locked against us even though they had our credit card number. I was also asked at check-in if I wanted to pay at the end of my stay. I said yes but they requested a credit card for pre-authorisation, as standard. I checked my bank account later that night and saw that they had taken the money out! They did not take this off at the end -- it just went through on my card though we had wanted to pay in cash, splitting the bill between our group! This was very presumptuous and quite insulting.

Reasonable prices for room & car. Luxurious, clean rooms and friendly staff. The fact that one can walk to the terminal of your choice is very attractive, instead of having to rely on a shuttle from the hotel. This is my second visit to your hotel, and I shall certainly return, and recommend you to friends traveling through Manchester airport.

The meal we had at the bar was good value on the whole. I had a cheese bloomer sandwich but the bread was sliced white bread. It was nice but not worth the money and it was what I facied at the time so did not complain. Also the room I had needs a bit of TLC the floor is very scratched by the chair at the desk not as good as the double I have had before.

Good value rooms, great location for airport. Car parking on site was great and good value for guests. Lack of choice for food and refreshments, expensive for the choices offered.

The fact it was connected to the hotel and the breakfast was quite nice. The bed was appaling - the matress was disgusting and uncofortable and very smal even though staf said it was king size - it was meant to be an executive room. It smelt of shower when we entered, the wrdrobe door was stuck shut and the tv only had 6 channels of which all had bad reception.

Location near to airport very convenient. We had to move rooms as there was no safe in our room. This caused to have to wait around for staff to attend verify there was no safe in the room and then find us another room which was only next door. We felt very frustrated as we had to wait around and could not relax loosing around 1 hour of our evening. Later that evening going to bed we found we found some blood on the Worktop next to sink.

The location was key for why I booked this hotel. The early flight in the morning was helped by this hotel with a quick and easy checkout and a short walk to the terminal. The only thing I can say was that the pillows were too soft and the shower when on the highest temperature setting was still a little cool.
