Everything about this hotel was first class, the staff, the location, the food, the rooms, we are hoping to spend next Christmas at the wonderful Radison Blu Hotel.
Nice public areas nice view over the marina
Rooms a bit plain simple, but like a travelodge room
We ate in the restaurant on the first night and were impressed with the quality and value of the food. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed both groups that played on the Saturday night and Sunday lunchtime. Spa staff very friendly and we all enjoyed our treatments
Environment by spa reception desk, pool etc felt & looked more like a local leisure centre than a hotel spa.
The staff are so helpful, nothing was too much trouble from anyone when asked. From locking ourselves out of the room to looking around the business class rooms and suites, everyone was so accommodating. The hotel is in a superb location and the views are just lovely. Breakfast is very good with a wide range of choices for everything you could need. Toiletries in the room are plenitful and replenished daily.
The music stopping very early in the evening even though the bar is open to late. Lots of kds staying who were up very late running around the bar.
Lovely comfortable bed Convenient adjoining rooms for children Friendly & professional staff Excellent location & view
Was expecting a nespresso machine so i was disappointed that this was not in either of the rooms.
Everything except the 1 "didn't like"
Would prefer to be offered a smaller lighter breakfast at a lesser price other than full English
Excellent location, very good staff, excellent breakfast with plenty of choices, great views. Will definitely stay again, soon I hope.
Nothing to write home about, was a great place to stay,
The beds were comfortable any problem was sorted quickly
Room service was late and had to leave just as it arrived.
Couldn't fault a thing. Had a really enjoyable stay with nice little added touches due to my husband celebrating his 30th birthday.
Wish we stayed longer as had a fab time
Location Overlooking Marina
Service, Cleanliness for a reasonable price.
Ordered pizza from room service, which was not great i.e. it could have been cooked more.
The whole hotel and facilities
Price of food was a bit on the high side
Great location and if you have a sea view room you get a lovely view of the harbor and beach
The mattress was a little uncomfortable as it was very soft.
Great location Excellent customer service Beds very comfy
The room size. That I am no longer in the hotel.
The building is hideous. It can be seen along the seafront and destroys the view of the main town. I hope it is knocked down and replaced with something fitting. The was a wedding party who looked like due to the location of the room were having their reception in the car park. The paint in the tiny swimming pool is all peaking away. The room was dirty and tired. The hallways are pathetic for a newly designed and built hotel.
Location, pleasant and friendly staff, good size room even with a z bed for the 6 year old
Everything was good
comfy bed, roomy bedroom. Pleasant reception area. Lovely dining area and bar. Very relaxing.
The location of the hotel near the harbour was very good and having on site parking for our hire car was a real bonus as parking in St Helier itself was challenging. The beds were very comfortable and the power shower was really good. The room was a good size and very modern in style. The cocktails in the bar were great.
We had meals in the bar restaurant on our first night but found the food to be bland and unimaginative and expensive for what is was. Also, the cooked breakfast was luke-warm each morning. There was a good range of buffet items but you had to get into breakfast towards the beginning of the session because items weren't routinely replenished in the last hour eg no bread, no yoghurts 45 minutes before end of breakfast time. The staff varied some very good but some decidedly not bothered. In the room there are no drawers so a lot of our smaller items remained packed in the case.
Excellent mattress, pillows and duvets - yes I had 2 and towels. The breakfast selection on offer was varied. 12 md. is a very reasonable time to check out. So good to be able to park and leave the car at the hotel. St. Helier town is very close. We had Dinner at the hotel on two nights and it was excellent.
My husband and I would have like a chest of drawers or, more storage space in our room. We stayed 4 nights and we had packed for cool and warmish weather. Our room No 103, was an excellent size, therefore there was ample space for a chest or similar. I had porridge each morning for breakfast. It got less lumpy as the days went on Chef or Sous Chef may not be used to making it! Porridge needs to be stirred constantly, - it needs to be 'looked after'.
Staff were attentive, tidy and always polite
Waiting for a breakfast table
Location, views, comfortable bed
Staff in restaurant openly arguing, tables not being cleared at breakfast in order to antagonise the lead waitress who then openly argued with them. Noisy air conditioning system leading to lack of sleep, blocked sink not repaired despite reporting it. Many breakfast items not replenished and yogurts out of date
Close enought to walk to town centre, everything nearby, free parking. Spotless all round, really good sleep quality.
Breakfast was mediocre for a 4 star hotel. Canned fruit, standard buffet with extras to pay for Eggs Benedict. Stayed here four years ago and the breakfast was much better with good healthy choices. Come on Radisson, you can do better than this.
the dining room and bar staff were very polite and attentive.
the reception staff were very helpful but a couple of them had very poor English and had difficulty With Scottish accents.
No bottles of water in the room the first night then got 2 bottles the second night and nothing on the third night !!! Had a double room and had to find the second lot of towels in the wardrobe( not in the bathroom ) Breakfast was good except for the third day ordered eggs Benedict royal (with smoked salmon) and recived it with smoked haddock (waterfront) asked for fried eggs sunny side down and recived normal !! Think there could be a language difficulty with some staff !!! Bar staff were very attentive and hotel room staff very polite and always said good morning Front of desk staff very polite and always anticipated the offer of doing things for you !! For a corporate hotel trying to offer the same service worldwide I was disappointed with certain points !!
Clean and well presented hotel. Good location. Most staff very helpful. Good waterside views from our bedroom.
Poor service and cold breakfast on first morning, this did improve over the next few days but fell apart again on our last morning
