Space in room, and general comfort. The addition of an Nespresso coffee machine in the room is excellent.

For a hotel of high standard the afternoon tea was cheap and nasty, and disappointing

We booked two rooms, one for my parents one for ourselves, to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary by returning to their honeymoon destination. The rooms were spacious, light, comfortable and the room with the sea view was gorgeous. The pool, steam room and saunawhile small, were adequate . The bedding and towels are of good quality.

Unfortunately, on checking into their sea view room my parents found their bathroom bin full of someone else's cigarette packets and sanitary products. We also ate one evening in the brasserie, but only once: the smoked haddock chowder showed no evidence of having been near any smoked fish, the trio of smoked fish platter arrived with 2 small slices of smoked salmon only, with no apology and only when challenged was it acknowledged that they had run out of the other ingredients for the platter and finally my vegetarian parents had ordered the morel risotto with great anticipation to try morels, only to receive a rather ordinary standard mushroom risotto. The kitchen had clearly run out of morels but again, rather than acknowledge we were not getting what was advertised, it was just presented and we were fed up of arguing by this point. The serving staff were lovely, but the kitchen staff clearly need and attitude adjustment.

Over-priced breakfast. Balconies would be an improvement, especially on the sea-facing bedrooms.

Rooms spacious and modern with all facilities you expect. Duvets and pillows first class. Friendly staff. 10 min. walk to Saint Helier's town centre.

As a previous guest I was upgraded to a suite which was just amazing! The bed was the most comfiest I have ever slept in - pillows and duvet too. I was visiting my daughter so having the suite meant we could relax together in a superb room! Wonderful marina/beach views. First class, thankyou so much! Will definitely return.

Room service food. Not a good choice and quality of food not as good as expected.

Beautiful hotel. The suite was an amazing room to stay in. Bed very comforable, very clean. Sea view was beautiful. Made use of the spa and staff were very polite and friendly. My 2yr old boy LOVED splashing about in the pool. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of choice.

Pure business orientated hotel. Poor clothes storage if you wish to stay longer than one night. Limited parking.

How centeral to the towh centre.

I paid to have breakfast included but they had to be told in the resurant every morning we had already paid.It was a little embrasing every morning to go though .

Miserable staff - like conscripts If you dont pay for the seaview the inland view is terrible, car parking, service areas and the KFC. Rooms are too small and have no practical storage. Again clearly the design is for the overnight business traveller. Hotel food is bland and overpriced. £15 for a breakfast and fried eggs, black pudding etc are extras OK for business but would not recommend at all for holiday/leisure. With the miserable staff and no entertainment/music makes it quite boring. They had a singer on for an hour on Friday evening and there was finally some atmosphere. This entertainment was not for the benefit of the paying guests as the bar was full of locals who were friendly. The bar was emty every night by 11.30. The staff turn the music off, turn the lights up and start cleaning the bar and tables which is quite clearly to give the impression they want you to leave.

Excellent room good location over looking the bay. Excellent breakfast with reasonable serving hours.

Location and ease of access, very friendly staff and an unusually good buzz in the bar for this type of hotel. Did not eat in the hotel but looked very good and busy - just not quite our style to eat in hotel restaurant.

Fit of general areas (like hallways and carpets) is lower than you would expect of this standard of hotel, but this does not apply to the rooms themselves.
