Excellent Buffet breakfast with good service by staff. Good location. Friendly and helpful staff throughout hotel
Room a little small and a bit tired
No mini bar stock 2single beds pushed together for a double Bath plug did not work, bath emptied itself Poor service at breakfast, had to wait a long time for food, no condiments to serve, then handed dirty soon. Should have stayed in a premier inn and saved £60.00
Bar cocktails , breakfast
Lifts no reliable, lacks atmosphere
The Radisson Blu ended up being the perfect choice for my surprise weekend away for my boyfriend. The location was great as it was a very short walk from both the O2 academy and the bullring shopping centre. Breakfast was divine and the parking facility with discount was also very helpful so all in all the weekend was amazing
Great location! Great breakfast!
Bad smell in the room. Bathroom looked like a hospital-bathroom.
Pleasant guy on reception
Friendly staff, good sized room, good variety of food at breakfast
Bed was two singles bolted together so hard lump in middle. Toilet seat broken. Sink blocked. Door keys stopped working after 3hrs.
Bed was comfy, wifi was a bonus, views were lovely, restaurant staff were lovely, food was great, late check out was a welcome change.
On arrival the 'trainee' check in girl asked for my name, refusing my offer of my booking number. She checked me and my partner into 1 room with his 2 18yr old sisters! If she had taken the booking number she would have known I had reserved 2 rooms. Worryingly, she happily issued 3 keys for 4 people in 1 room!....Anway, checked into 2 room, took the lift to the 14th floor to find we have been issued a twin....back downstairs, see the same check in girl who re issues our room, this time on the 9th floor. Back in the lift, to find its another twin!.....Back downstairs to see another check in guy this time, who is lovely and re issues our room for a 3rd time on the 8th floor, which is a double! No apology, no offer of a free drink...nothing. Hair in the sink in the bathroom, no extractor fan, and shower pressure rubbish. Plug sockets under tables in far corner so had to go on all 4s to reach! no sockets by bed, both lamps in room broken and un use-able. £5 for a pint of coke!
Slow check in process, staff not attentive enough when there’s a queue of people waiting. Noisy in rooms
the bar is very expensive. £6.50 for 1 drink
Modern hotel, with good facilities and good comfort levels in the room.
Bar and restaurant are very expensive, rooms are also very expensive (compared to Holiday Inn for example). It would be helpful if for breakfast the staff showed you to your table, on a number of occasions i sat or was about to sit at a table which was already occupied. Also many tables were missing cutlery and condiments.
Excellent value for money. Great views of surrounding area. Close to o2 Academy (literally across the road) so ideal for a stop over if visiting for concerts.
Overall very good hotel
Trying to obtain a drink after 11pm why can't you use a card at the bar, what's the minimum £25 at reception all about?
The customer service from the gentleman "Dennis" was excellent., he could not do enough to help .
Company trying to charge full rate on day of departure when agreed rate was set by Booking.com
Very centralized location with quick access to town ,railway station . I particularly like the close proximity to the theaters ,!,
Nothing that I can think of.
I found the room to be over priced, the 'high speed' internet did not work, the breakfast was cold, the scrambled egg was burnt. The price of a pint was £5.50 and I could tell the beer was tainted as the lines may not have been cleaned, it was also not served in a branded glass.
Location and staff
Not enough pillows and no safe it had been taken out.
I have never slept in a more comfortable bed and wanted to take it home with me. The pillows and bedding was devine. Great location and great food. Excellent value for money.
Everything location perfect really comfy beds, nice staff lovely breakfast!
Me and partner really loved the hotel, the restaurant was amazing literally the best steak i've ever had. We are hoping to come back soon too
Well I didn't like the fact was only a pillow each for us as we are use to few. The only thing me and partner didn't like was the cleaning staff knocking our door at 8:30am to find out what time we are leaving considering check out this upto 12pm didnt appreciate being woken up.
Room. Breakfast. Staff.
Traffic noise in room.
Had a really nice break. The food was excellent staff were really friendly and helpful.
The receptionist were warm and welcoming. The rooms were good
Cleaning is not done thoroughly. Some cleaners are hostile. Wi-fi not working in some rooms on the higher floors.
At an average £90 per night, the Rad Blu was perfect for a romantic get away. We stayed quite high up and had a lovely view. Free ice machine in the corridor was a great feature very few other hotels have in the area. The bed makes the difference here, superb duvet. The safe was appreciated. As a relatively new couple we were expecting to spend a lot of time together in the city. This hotel kept us in a little longer than expected.
The seat inside was under the shelf. You could only sit on half of it.
Not enough sockets on room for mobile chargers
