The bed was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Room was big enough for two and the location of the hotel was very good. Would definitely recommend and come and stay again myself.
The TV was occasionally fuzzy and the cleaners knocked on the door at 9am!!
Breakfast was amazing, friendly staff, the bathroom mirror was so cool that no matter how steamy it got you could see clear in the middle, the view from our room was magnificent.
The TV was too small, the carpet and sheets had holes
Location was excellent. Breakfast was super with great quality food and choice.
Bathroom lighting and shower could do with updating.
The floor to ceiling windows were great and the food was excellent
Comfy bed Mini bar
Noisey room pos air ventilation going none stop all night . Don't have room 604
the location is perfect for people travelling trough new street station, staff was very friendly and helpful all the time greeting me with a big smile.
the air con in the room did not work(apparently it's a common problem during winter- it blows only cold air) we got offered an electric heater instead. not the same comfort as u expect but had to accept due to low temperature in the room during the night.
Everything about my stay was perfect, cannot find anything that would deter me from staying again
Service was great
Need a bigger gym
Wonderful views and lovely airy room
A number of electrical faults in the room. No concierge and the staff were foreign so couldn't help on things like car parking or directions. The room needed a bit of touch up in places
Getting away from this terrible experience!
Waited an hour at check before found my reservation. Car park - waited an hour as couldn't get out of carpark Rear access to car park was constantly locked, so waited for ages trying to into Hotel - only option is to walk right the way around, with no directions - whilst the car park is an ncp, wholly inappropriate for a large vehicle - no other parking near. Restaurant - advised one evening no need to book as quiet - went to have dinner at 8pm and told now fully booked up!! Was offered snacks in bar!! Bar closed at midnight - for a city centre hotel of this level, I've not known this - no service or night porter!
Great room and food. All facilities good.
Let down by management staff who were watching their receptionists struggle and customers wait 10-15 minutes to be dealt with. Appalling attitude and a strong reason not to return.
I liked the room and its facilities - and the view over the city
The hard bacon at breakfast and the fact that the breakfast room was really cold - I noticed other guests also looking up at the air conditioning when deciding where to sit - this didn't make it very comfortable and didn't really matter where you sat it was cold :(
It was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and polite but there is nothing that stands out
Cant say I didn't like anything other than the breakfast was cold but its just all very forgettable
Near main station; B+B reasonably priced for location; excellent choice of fruit and cereal at breakfast; helpful staff; good security.
Restaurant seriously over-priced, with very limited choice; poor choice of ridiculously expensive beers (almost £6.00 for a can of Guinness!); cooked breakfast tired and dried-up (almost shrivelled).
Staff were great. Friendly, helpful - no complaints. Really comfy bed and a good selection of pillows.
Room was dark even with all the lights switched on. The basin did not drain well. There were only three tissue in the dispenser. I couldn't get the free wifi to work. The TV reception was poor.
Location. Facilities, Wifi, Business Hotel
Parking is a nightmare. Access is not well defined.
Really good hotel, great location, high floor with great view over city, large room with big comfy bed, perfect , look forward to are next stay
We were upgraded to business class which was a pleasant surprise. Overall the staff were nice, the room were in was clean and spacious. Very good stay
Traffic noise despite being on the 16th floor.
Bed was of a good size and very comfortable. Food via room service had good portions.
Never heard of a hotel charging for delivery of food from room service before. Found that quite ridiculous! TV was small for room size and not many channels and poor picture quality. Room was not cleaned to standard which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
Size of room, clean enough, quiet rooms, potentially a great view over the Birmingham sky line if you get the right rooms. Comfy big beds.
As this was a treat for my wife, the plan was to have a meal at the hotel, relax and then go out for a show I'd booked, and then have a couple beers afterwards. The restaurant was closed which was v disappointed and the bar also closed when we got back. Really put a damper on our stay.
Asked for a double and got 2 single beds, bathroom was dirty, pillows were awful, staff entering room before 9 am, noisy room at night
Hotel was ideal location for my business needs. It's really clean and the items provided in bathroom are useful.
Room was too cold & bed/pillows way too soft. No plug socket near to bed for you to charge your phone? No plug socket near to a mirror so hard for us girls to dry our hair
I generally stop in a hotel after a night on the town, I paid a little more for the room as it was christmas, it was worth every penny and I can not wait to go back
Room and view Plenty of coffee in room Breakfast nice choice, plenty of it
Breakfast not hot enough on the Sunday
Large bed, great view
Dated decor, poor quality extras such as iron.
