Immediately and with no fuss staff offered to change our room when we complained on arrival about very bad smell in bathroom . Very central - great for shopping. Breakfast staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Room was compact but perfectly adequate for short stay. |

I would like to especially commend the work of Ms. Maria (unfortunately I don't know her surname) who was at the reception desk on 31. January 2009. She was extremely efficient, very kind and gave us a lot of help at the beginning of our stay (change of rooms, change of vat...). All other of her colleagues were very helpful too, but I would like to single her out. |

We went for the deluxe package and were very pleased with the room allocated to us. The reception area is very small. Organisation of breakfast was a shambles. |

Clean and nice room, pleasant staff The only thing was that one of the two elevators was out of order most of the time during our stay and we had to use the stairs up to the 5th floor all the time |

Clean, tidy and efficient front desk. Clean rooms. Good food. The bar(s) could have been a little cosier with more comfortable seating. No English beer - a big minus. We were six to Saturday evening dinner in the restaurant at 8.30. Good food, but we felt uncomfortable being left alone at the end of the evening as staff went off shift. The lifts appeared unreliable too. |

Young German couple: We were upgraded as hotel was overbooked and free breakfast was included (17 Pounds per person is otherwise a bit pricey). We had room 318 which faces Oxford Street. Noise level is ok. Aircon could not be switched off entirely and made most of the noise. No extra charges for early check-in. Good hotel, good location. No bad smells, not dirty, no disappointment. |

What a beautiful hotel hidden behind the bustle of Oxford Street! The rooms were beautiful, staff were lovely and breakfast was gorgeous in the morning. A lovely location for our weekend away. We would definitely consider staying here again! |

I like the location of the hotel as it is right on oxford street and was in walking distance to almost everything I wanted to go see when I was in london. I did not like the lift as it took for ever to stop at the level you were on or it just did not stop at your level. During the whole weekend I was there I used the lift twice to get the case up and down from the my room which was on the 6th floor. |
