staff and location
The Desk Manager Melissa made our stay extra special, as we were celebrating our recent engagement, the room allocated to us was amazing, great views and very comfortable, there was towel art and a nice chocolate cake waiting for us. Thank you very much.
Really nice room and bathroom
low lighting in bathroom!
My stay in general was great. The size of the business type room was bigger than I expected. The location of the hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the Oxford street.
The breakfast because there was no green vegetables at all and only one type of cheese.
The hotel was lovely very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Very good location.
No complaints at all.
One of the worst christmas lunches I have ever had for a top class hotel the meal was poorly cooked and served by poorly trained waiting staff
Service very slow at breakfast on Sunday as they were under staffed BUT the staff were very friendly helpful and pleasant. Totally made up for it.
Horrible spillage marking on the bed
Very good staff, very helpfull. Very clear hotel Excellent position to our requirement, will stay in radison again when inlondon, we allways stay at hRadission group in Europe
The comfort of our room. Hotel in a very good location. Great breakfast in bed although we were given far too much to eat! Arnold at Reception was extremely helpful.
Room was lovely, great comfortable bed, plenty of space and lovely ensuite bathroom. Good central location. Reception staff were very accommodating , friendly and helpful .
We didn't like the breakfast. The room was very cramped which made it very difficult to manoeuvre Between the tables. The maître die was offhand and unhelpful. There were not enough staff to cope with the volume of people through the restaurant. The buffet breakfast was sloppy, with little attention to detail . Plates were cold only side of the extremely slow toaster was working. Very poor standards for a hotel of this standard. Probably the worst hotel breakfast we have ever experienced. Only one lift was working in the 2 days we were there which made waiting time lengthy.
The hotel was very nice indeed, our room was clean and well presented. Our most enjoyable moment was checking in, a really very lovely chap by called Lukas looked after us, he was friendly and very helpful, I have stayed in quite a few hotels and this checking in experience is defiantly the most memorable, all the staff were friendly and helpful but Lukas really went the extra mile for my sister and I and I will defiantly visit again. We also had a meal in the 'steak and lobster' restaurant which I believe is part of the hotel and our meal was amazing. Breakfast was also as good, now I just need a valid excuse to visit again :) we are very happy we stayed here.
The only thing I can think of was that the service in the restaurant was a little slow, it wasn't too busy but as I myself have worked in a pub/restutant I know that things are not always as smooth as you'd like it to be. No real complaint at all, besides, our steak was cooked to perfection and we soon forgot about the wait
Location on the doorstep of OxFord street is perfect for shopping. Hotel is v nice and restaurant in the hotel is also v good and value for money
Nothing that I didn't like
Concierge very helpful, location central for all prime tourist spots.
Bar staff did not understand English, drinks very expensive, no dressing table in the room, room plug sockets in wrong places.
Size of room and comfort of bed.
Provided dressing gown was stained. The baths are very narrow so is uncomfortable for 2 in shower or bath at once, which is a disappointment for a superior room (which was large).
The location, staff and the service were really good and the cost of the hotel was comparatively cheap.
The decor of the reception, atrium and bar are really tacky and slightly weird. A red plastic stag on a white pvc chesterfield style seat, rot-iron stickmen in the windows, hideous plastic chandeliers. It a shame because everything else is pretty good. At least there's bags of potential for improving the decor.
the staff were extremely helpful and our room was spacious and comfortable.
there was very cramped hanging space in the wardrobe
Hotel was beautiful and in a great location surrounded by shopping and food!
very friendly & helpful staff. very clean, maid service very good. the attached lobster or steak restaurant is excellent value for money
I have stayed in bigger single rooms than the 'family room' we booked here, even based on city London standards, so somewhat disappointed, especially for the money we paid!! Also think our room must have been next to the maids stock room, from 7.30am constant banging of doors in the corridor.
Location, staff at reception very helpful and breakfast fantastic!
Room small and noisy , staff in breakfast not clear places quick enough and not taking attention at customers, take really long time to come round the table !
Nice hotel with comfortable bathroom.
Very small rooms for high prices.
Spectacular room, handy location to Kings Cross station and theatres
Restaurant staff weren't particularly good.
Had booked a family room for 3 adults but this consisted of one double bed and a put-up camp bed - not what I had expected at all!!
the staff's service both at front desk and restaurant are fantastic. Breakfast was excellent because given a choice of additional menu to choose from apart from the main buffet table.Very close to Totenham Court tube and walkable to Oxford Street, Soho, Covent Garden, Oxford St. and Regent St.
