Had booked a family room for 3 adults but this consisted of one double bed and a put-up camp bed - not what I had expected at all!!
the staff's service both at front desk and restaurant are fantastic. Breakfast was excellent because given a choice of additional menu to choose from apart from the main buffet table.Very close to Totenham Court tube and walkable to Oxford Street, Soho, Covent Garden, Oxford St. and Regent St.
its hotel rate.
Good clean room , Good breakfast with hot food cooked fresh. Even able to leave luggage at hotel whilst we went sight seeing after checking out.
nothing to say
Selection of nibbles in bar poor Room on small side
Service Really clean Everything worked (apart from the plug hole) Location Room layout Bed comfy
The plug was missing from the wash basin. Sounds silly thing to moan about but if your GF won't kiss sand paper, it's quite important....
Excellent staff nothing was too much trouble. The suite was pure luxury and comfortable. Steak in the restaurant was very good.
If I had to pick a negative more selection on the room service after 11pm we flew in late and he anted something to eat but a very poor selection.
Location, size of room
Older building and decor
Breakfast wasn't the best especially for the price.
Bathroom ok but not wow.
we arrived ( 11.30 ) our room was ready . Lovely large room on 6th floor coulded fault it booked deluxe king . We had breakfast and a meal in the restaurant and both was excellent .discount for breakfast and a 15.00 voucher for drinks per night .
was applauded to find they charged £1.00 extra at breakfast for green tea or earl grey we only drink this tea .Got a bill for not only £2 for tea but had a service charge of 25p .Was not happy I pay £2.99 for 80 green tea bags these should be included with the breakfast.
The fact that breakfast is not included in the price of the room. There were no net curtains on the windows as the room was on the first floor, which makes privacy a big factor.
Such a great location for the west end and Euston Reception team were great, professional and friendly Breakfast was excellent
Location Service level Design
We booked a "family room" for 2+1, but it was actually a double room with an extra bed edged in. One of us left early (04:40) with a taxi. Reception called twice to check on taxi time and to inform the taxi had arrived (in advance), but mainly probably to make sure the rest of the family woke up. The fire alarm went off three times just after this... (false alarms thankfully!)
The location Staff friendliness
Not getting served at the bar Mix up with room
most of the staff, especially the concierge, the location is good. the hotel is overpriced and we would question the 4 star rating.
the room, the noise, lack of sleep, breakfast at 21 Pounds is grossly overpriced and pooly presented (scrambled eggs are disgusting to look at, much less eat) many times had to wait for empty selections to be restocked. bar service one evening at 10 was almost non-existant. bathroom lighting is very poor.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the bar. The location was great but obviously this depends on the reason for your visit and where you are going!
Waiting to be seated for breakfast for around 10 minutes and then gave up and went to a cafe, shame after a pleasant stay.
Overall a great experience
When asked if I had a room preference I ask for a quiet location unfortunately I was put in a room with the outside condensers for the air conditioning by my window so it was very noisy.
The size of the suite was perfect with enough living space to have a few guest over. The pizza ordered in by the room service team late at night was out of this world!
- The location was fantastic, walking distance to Oxford Street, Piccadilly, Leicester Square and Covent Garden - Reception and eating area are attractive and of a good standard of decoration. - Staff were extremely helpful and courteous - Rooms were clean and the shower was great
The food at breakfast was lovely but the service was a bit of a shambles!
The reception guy sent us in the wrong direction when we asked him where the nearest laundrymat was and when we asked him to book the Radisson hotel in France for us he handed out his business card !!
The room we had was excellent - very comfortable. Staff were very helpful
I thought the breakfast was expensive in the hotel so instead of eating breakfast in the hotel we ate at a local cafe just next door for half the price and the quality was excellent.! We were disappointed with the choice in the restaurant - either steak or Lobster - we did not feel like eating either steak or lobster so we did not use the restaurant . in the bar gratuities are automatically added to your bill - and we only noticed this on our second evening - we always believe in tipping but like to be given the option !.
Travelling with children therefore requested room with 3 beds. 3rd bed was a Z bed cramped into the room blocking access to desk, wardrobe and safe cupboard. Was expecting better from a 4 star hotel charging me over £500 for 2 nights without breakfast.
The location was great. We were very central and close to a lot of happening areas such as Soho, the Westend, Covent Garden etc. Tottenham Court tube station was 3 minutes away and the British Museum was just down the road
The room was not like depicted in the picture. If you want something spacious you will have to go for the more expensive options or choose another hotel. The breakfast was not very good and expensive so we usually ate somewhere else in the area.
Excellent, professional staff. Great location for the West End, many theatres all in walking distance and great shopping and restaraunts/bars nearby in the Seven Dials.
Bed was not a full queen size compared to other hotels with similar offering/standard.
