The service, bar area and location were the best. The luxury feel of the foyer and the all of the public areas makes for a good experience The room wasn't up to the standard I expected. The room I stayed in previously was lovely, this one wasn't. You can register these minor complaints for me: the TV channels didn't work in the room, breakfast was dry and over cooked, it was more than edible but not right for a 5 star hotel

The bathroom in our room (401) and the buzz in the foyer The welcome in the Amba restaurant was distinctly luke warm when we went in for drinks with friends (we were dining elsewhere) and they had not got 3 different bottles of wine that we requested.I had the impression that they were trying to get rid of us. A polite explanation that the area was reserved for dining guests would have been better (if indeed that was the case)

The best experience during our stay was the room/suite we booked. We could not fault it, and appreciate the design / facilities and layout. The one thing that did ruin our experience was the our first morning at breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant, expecting to be escorted to a table maybe overlooking the window but instead we were taken to a room at the back of the restaurant. We were not given a menu and the overall feel was that we help ourselves to the buffet. The buffet which did not look or taste very appealing, staff were stiring the hot trays of food and several occasions, why would such a good quality hotel offer this kind of breakfast to paying guests. We did notice that other guests were given a menu and a choice and were also having waitress service! An overall disappointing experience.

The location of the hotel is so convenient it makes one accept the 1000 mistakes in the hotel , to name some 1- Very noisy , no proper sound proofing between the rooms , also corridores are so noisy , we couldnt sleep . 2- House keeping very poor. 3- tv very poor . As I was leaving they pretended that the system is down , so they were unable to give me the final invoice or receipt.

Very good location, calm, wonderful stay, room was big, everybody was very helpful and kind, the only thing is they want to take 100`£ a day to cover the extra expenses, In my personnal case I ask that once all the expenses payed the daily 100£ taken would be cancelled right away. I recommend that Hotel Régine Cardin

The staff at the door welcoming you were so nice and helpful.. There was an older gentleman that was a dream to deal with! Rooms fabulous.. Found the staff in restaurant where we had our breakfast to be quite in your face! Stayed staring over while eating breakfast.. Room wasnt as nice as photos on the website.. Not as luxurious as I thjought it would be for the price!

Service attentive but unobtrusive. Room comfortable, bathroom spacious. Breakfast extremely good. Good location for everything. None really, apart from lack of complimentary water in room.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, and some of the staff in being quite freindly and helpful. In my view, being a five stars hotel, you should do the followings, to make it one of the best among the five stars hotels in London. 1- you should change the soaps in the bath and shower areas. 2- you should put two bottles of water in each room every day. 3- the window curtains do not hide the brightness in total: hence they need to look into for improvements etc,.4- the bar, on the left, is always crowded and noisy most of times, you should try to make it, if possible, bigger and more comfortable, and some of the staff working there do not appear to understand, for example,me. Thus one has to repeat one self te get understood. As to the food, well, I did not manage to have either lunch or dinner there, hence I can not make any comment thereon. For breakfast however, again, I think you should add more varieties. In the last six weeks I stayed in five hotels...in Dubai...Sinapore and in Bangkook. What one finds in those hotesl can't be compaired with what is available in the May fair, so some improvements need to done here. Lastly, and this is personal, my plane got delayed and thus dould not make it on time. Instead of arriving at night I arrived the next day, and when I tried to argue with staff to either not to charge or charge half the usual rate, they refused, and insisted to charge the full rate of " Pounds 430"

The location Too much scent in the hotel everywhere. From the odor of curry that was pervasive in the hotel, the rooms everywhere to the constant heavy perfume in the lobby. I had a full blown allergy attack every time I entered or exited the hotel. Also the clientele is 90% mideastern.

The location is very good. The hotel is well decorated with nice restaurant and even casino. I was there on the 1st-3rd jan 2012. I guess the hotel was quite full at that time cause it took the concierge forever to response to our requests, like dental kit and adapter. I asked for a universal adapter to charge my phone. After 30 minute, still no respond. I called again, and they said they were overwhelmed w requests from the guests and will try to find one for me. 15 more minutes passed, still no news. I went down in my pjs and ask them. They said they ran out, and if I want to charge my phone, I can bring my phone down and they'll charge it at the concierge for me. I find this strange. As a 5 star hotel w international guests, they should've been prepared for this. The next day, my husband asked again for the universal adaptor, and this time they have one. But they charged us a fee for using it. Around 5-6 GBP if i am not mistaken.

The location One hour for our breakfast to be sent to our room and had to telephone twice to for this to be done. Only face towels were left in room, had to request for bath towels. Checking into our room on arrival took a long time. I booked for an executive king size room and there was no fridge in the room.
