May Fair Hotel

Nothing, check in took too long, only 1 person on the desk. Given a room on floor 8 and lift took too long.Our room had a view of building works across the street. The room was the smalest I have stayed in for some time, suitable for 1 person only. They could not move us "hotel full". Charge of £245 per night is not right for what we got. Will never stay at this hotel again. This hotel needs a refurbishment, not the cleanest, breakfast not great, some staff need training. We saw a person put the knives and forks etc on a chair while she wiped the table then set the table with same!!!! How clean was the seat on the chair??

Excellent location walking distance to picadilly, theatres, hydepark and an underground station

Too noisey! The hotel room doors are very heavy, and they wereslamming all night - acoustics in hallways needs major improvement. Additionally the TV turned on twice during the night as there was a generic message from the hotel - waking up the entire family.

2 bottles of water cost £10 and 2 bowels of chips were £17

The location

It was a dissapointment. The room was dirty (waste marks in the toilet, hairs in bath and general hygiene). This meant that the cleaner had to come and do the cleaning. Also, instead of having samples of shampoos and shower get it was in a form of a dispenser of which the shower gel had been diluted.

First class hotel in a fantastic location in the city, however the good rooms are fantastic and the basic rooms are basic.

its position and facilities

simply stylish style, location

the bar is exelent

the wordrobe in bathroom and the noises at the street at knight with the truks unloding all the time every night was loud

Attention to deatil, knowledge of staff, nothing too much trouble.

Location, the hoter is clean and laxurious compared to other hotels in london

Tv not really good and was not in a god location wrt the bed, no Soap Bars in Bathroom, shower gel only, Hotel Management thinks its more environmental friendly, if you ask me, the guest should have the choice.

Yet again another faultless stay, no problems everything perfect.
