I chosed a King deluxe room, it was very clean and wide. The bed was a real king size. The hotel is extremely close to Warren Street metro station, like 1 minute walk. It's 2 much expensive and it doesn't really seem a 4 stars hotel, the furniture it's quite old, our room had an horrible view on the inside, nothing in the fridge in the room, if you wanted anything you had to ask. In the description it says that they give you 15 punds free drink card, but at the bar they told me that I needed 2 cards since we were 2 people (no amount of money specified) so I had to ask for an other card for my boyfriend and they treated me like I was stealing from them, no courtesy at all. Plus the water was pouring from the sealing on the counter not really 4 stars hotel.

The location was great and the staff were polite. The room was tiny and grossly overpriced. The lifts were not working. When I left they tried to overcharge me by more than £60 on the agreed price with Bookings.com and this only changed with the manager's intervention. The facilities in the room were very poor with a tiny shower and limited channels on the tv. For £142 a night it was a rip-off. The cooked breakfast was £19 (although they did discount this for me) but the food was cold. The swipe card for my room repeatedly did not work

They should change the entrance doors, they have about 1-2cm space beneath the door. Somebody walking on the corrdidor seams walking right next to you in bed! Staff is not really motivated.

It was very conviently located for our Christmas meeting in the west end. The single room I occupied was very small; the carpet was quite badly stained; and the bed cushions were a little "tired". But on the whole, it was ok for a one-night stay.

I liked the helpful staff as well as their politness which is not very fashionble these days. I had booked for a double room which in fact was quite correct except there was the most horrible smell of paint and varnish , so strong that I left my luggage and run out of the room . At the reception I explained that I was very strongly allergic to those products and I couldn't understand that they could be painting while guests were staying in the hotel. Paints without smells and no hasard toxicity do exist why are you not using them?I had to insist to have another room safe and in a safe floor which I got : in that sense the staff at the reception was helpful. I was pleasd with my staying in any case.

Room furniture is rather old. Overall design is not attractive. I stayed in a single room which is very small, it is size of one single bed plus some space of 2-3m2. My room has nearly no day light, it towards not outside the building but towards some internal space of building. Good things are hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free and performing well. Laptop sized safebox exists in room. There is an underground station (Warren Street) just 20m away the hotel door.

Breakfast Many things in the room are not convinient for use. For ex, fan is in the drawer of the table far from the mirror, there is no socket for laptop near bed, curtains are efficult to open and close, it is not possible to open window for fresh air, it is difficult to get to your room with suitcase as there are many stairs to go through in the corridors

Very well, centrally located close to the Tube station. Very small single room and very old bathroom facilities. Not too good value for the price they ask. You basically pay for the location. I missed a sauna from the relaxing facilities very much.

I was there on business. Excellent location. Good transport links - underground and Euston station. The man at reception was very friendly and efficient - he was from South Africa, but it turns out that his aunt lives in the small town that I grew up in Scotland. Good personal touch/ It was being redecorated and there was a strong smell of paint. The man at reception apologised for this - there was major refurbishment. It didn't bother me as I wasn't in the hotel much, but it would have been far from ideal if I was staying with my wife and young children.

The Hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was kind The mattress was shabby and old, and the sheets yellowy. The rest of the room was fine, although very small but this is normal for London. Good bathroom

Position I had an appointment at the University College Hospital at 8am, therefore it was not convenient to travel from home that day. As I was required to stay in the hospital overnight I booked a double room for two nights, for myself and my wife on the first night and for my wife only on the second. The hotel was only 300yds from the hospital, the only reason for booking it. On check-in I was told the hotel was overbooked, despite the fact that I had already paid for the room, I was offered The Mayfair hotel and I explained the reason for staying at the Grafton was it's closeness to uch. After much arguing they offered a twin room, but I said that I had booked a double. The third member of staff found a double room for us but there was only 1ft clearance between the end of the bed and the wall, it meant that to access the desk you had to climb over the bed.

One of the better hotels I've stayed at in London in the price range, and perfectly located for shops, theatres and museums. Air-con a bit hard to adjust in the room we were in - otherwise faultless.

We travelled in a group of 13 for a weekend break. The Hotel was situated perfectly for both shopping and night life. Hotel is beside Warren St. Tube station and is one stop to Oxford St. For Shopping. Hotel Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfortable with a nice bar and reception area. Some of the rooms were small but all rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is very close to the main sightseeing, Oxford Circus and metro stations. There are plenty of shops and places to eat around it, getting tothe hotel is easy and convenient. I was surprised to see a really small room for the price paid - mine was OK but my colleague's was tiny little one. Breakfast was not included in the price so I cannot say anything about it .

Very comfortable beds. Very good bathroom facilities. Good location for central London. Efficient and couteous staff. Able to leave luggage after checkout. Television remote buttons were all wrong, denying access to programmes. Wi-fi instructions misleading, sorted out very quickly by reception staff.
