The room was so small, my suitcase only fit on the bed. I had to use my flash light to find the lights. Aweful!
Comfortable bed, efficient check-in/out and a nice, good value meal.
The room was clean, a reasonable size, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice.
Overall very pleased with the Radisson Blu at Heathrow, location is good and the shuttle bus to the airport efficient and not expensive. Certainly would stay there again.
Lovely beds ground floor friendly staff proximity to the airport
nothing to dislike
Superb welcome on reception, most polite and helpful.
The lifts had broken and we weren't offered any support with our bags to our room which seemed quite a trek away - so many rooms we got lost!
The reception was very good, the young lady spent time chatting while she continued the booking in process & she organised a taxi to the airport for the next morning. The restaurant was great, the service was excellent & food well priced. The room was very good, clean, comfortable & well sized.
Close to Heathrow and McDonalds. The latter is probably good if you have an overnighter with kids?
The beds went to the floor and we stubbed our toes on it.
Near the airport good bus transfer free Wi Fi
Reception staff excellent
Tank restaurant food was imaginative and well presented.
Shuttle bus back to the airport took almost 1/2 hour to travel. Terminal 2 was the last stop in his route.
The room was fine and clean
We had a room near to the lift on the first floor. We decided to stay here because we has an early flight to catch. Unfortunately there was so much noise we hardly slept 11pm mem shouting at each other 12 women screaming and laughing down the hall 3am many many many Asians shouting ver loudly I think 4am we got to sleep only to wake at 6.30. So no we were not happy Our room was not ready either even though we had booked a while ago
There were a couple of functions at the hotel and during the night there were groups of people screaming and fighting with each other running up and down the corridor outside my room. About half an hour after this a single male was shouting, again running up and down the corridor Stating that he was going to slash someones face (obviously on a mobile). I heard either a glass or bottle being smahed during the commotion. When I payed the next morning I reported this to the manager who stated that there had been no other complaints and that she knew nothing about it. This makes things worse that noone in the hotel knows whats happening! I got a 20% discount on the room, it should have been a refund as I got very little sleep and had a long day and a drive back to Leeds. Very unimpressed.
The location was booked as we attended the Dr Who Covention. All the conference area is amazing.
Tthe prices in the bars and restaurants.
Staff were great from reception through to dining.
No swimming pool
Firstly, location perfect as I was meeting a friend in the morning from a 7am flight. Shuttle service available which made getting to and from the airport very easy. Staff were good. Car park size good plenty of parking available, comfort and standard of hotel excellent; would stay again.
Staff did not have enough shuttle bus tickets available, information given on arrival did not match the information given in the morning regarding shuttle service.
I loved the Indian restaurant, absolutely delightful staff and food was fantastic! Also manager who did apologise and was trying to sort the mess out after his staff, made the stay more bearable but in overall, for hotel like this,I was rather disappointed and definitely won't be returning in to this hotel in the future!
Not going to lie,I was very disappointed with my last stay few weeks ago. Choose this hotel as I was staying in different Radisson blu in London before. Staff at the reception could at least make an effort and smile a little, I do work with customers daily and that attitude is not going to help to bring your guests back. Checked in,got in to my room just to find out it's dirty! With rubbish on the bed, half empty glass of champagne on table and dirty towel in the bathroom. Rang reception, they've send housekeeper immediately. When she came to bedroom, she just sigh and said she needs 10minutes. She didn't apologise at all! Went to the restaurant downstairs, very annoyed after all this. Talk to the manager at the reception,he did apologised, gave me new room straight away and drink on the house.
I found the hotel extremely noisy
The food is very good.
I was harassed at ten past ten at night for £3 they insisted my employer wouldn't cover. At that time of night I couldn't contact the office to get them to confirm that of course they would pay for it, they were paying the other £700! In the end I had to give the hotel £3 in cash to get them to leave me alone. The room was small, there was nowhere to put my case except on the table. A wet washcloth was carefully folded and put back amongst the dry ones. The WiFi might be free but it keeps dropping out and was often not available. Housekeeping didn't empty the bin or remove the used glasses, one day they didn't make up the room at all. There are no bedside reading lights. The gutter overflowed and pounded water against my window at 4am and the windows are old anyway they don't keep out the noise of the aircraft engines. When I ordered a pot of tea it arrived with milk spilt all over the tray. I wasn't going to cry over that but the accumulative effects of all these things meant by the end of my 4 night stay I was exhausted. I would have been better off at the Premier Inn.
I booked in the name of John Coughlan however they couldn't find the booking as it was recorded as surname John. Can you believe it?
Food and beer
We four seniors arrived exhausted , Keisha on front desk was super helpful, answered all our ? And we had a great rest!! Have already recommended this hotel to two people!! Great value !! Liz Hawco
The hotel smelt badly in the rooms and corridors. Carpet I think. Staff knew. When I was there there was a BA corporate event being hosted there which made the bar a no-go area till after midnight, unless you like trying eat and read in a stag night style atmosphere.
You can hear people talking in other rooms or outside, I could even understand what they were saying! Some got up early to go I assume to the airport & woke me up. If you want to have a quiet night sleep forget about this place.
