Perfect location, the bed was really comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff very kind.
Just one thing I didn't like, the heating works through air, there is no radiator inside the room.
Very central just off oxford street, walking distance from all central spots, tube 5 mins.
Accessibility to West End/ Coventry Garden main shopping streets.
Very helpful staff at front desk and concierge Fabulous breakfast Good location Overall, a good experience
Some traffic noise Room and bathroom a bit small Beds rather hard
The staff and cleanliness of the hotel was great.
The room was so small you couldnt swing a cat!
Bloomsbury location Reliable free WiFi
Small size of single room Price
Friendly helpful staff
Staff again helpful in procuring an extension lead. Third visit because of location being so central.
There is no way to allow fresh air in to the room : one cannot open the window. No power sockets close to bed.
Lovely hotel, great location, staff were extremely helpful from start to finish.
Very welcoming staff, especially the receptionist who checked us in. Forgot her name but begins with M. Room was lovely and clean and location was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
The bed had a slight raise in one side so took a bit to get comfy.
The reception staff listened to my preferences and gave me a quiet room. The room was very comfortable & clean- I had everything I needed. When the hairdryer fused- the housekeeping team sorted it out efficiently.
Nothing. Will stay again- if I can get a good deal!
The staff were quite rude, particularly the concierge. There was a queue to check the bags in and get them out. There was no apology "or smile" which is very poor. We then asked for a taxi and were told he would get one.Ten minutes later I asked again and he said there was a 30 minute wait!! in London!! I would have missed the train, he then told us to walk to the end of the street and get one, it was pouring with rain!! again no smile, no apology. I will not stay here again, I stayed in the Bloomsbury the last 3 years and most certainly will stay there in future(great customer service). The hotel is very impersonal and there was not enough staff at busy times. Customers should not feel the stress of the staff at any time!!!
Location is perfect!
Single room was incredibly narrow considering the price, the shower is dirty! The kit boxes were empty!
Classy hotel within easy walking distance of Covent Garden
Room not ready on arrival although informed of estimated time of arrival at time of booking
I stayed two nights (14-15 november 2014 - room 615), single delux £230 including breakfast. In a nutshell: Pros: location (1 minute walk from the British Museum), good value for money, polite, smiling and professional staff (all of them), atmosphere, good choice for breakfast, not noisy, good shower, room clean. The single deluxe was indeed small but for a single person for few days is not an issue. I have seen also the double on the 7th floor and the room was very nice. Check-in and check-out was fast and painless. Lots of options in terms of public transport, but we walked most of the time as everything of interest for us was within walking distance. Definitely to keep in mind for my next trip to London.
Cons: carpet not very clean, sleepers not provided (I could have asked though).
Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable room Good restaurant Great location for several London attractions
Good location Friendly staff
Easy Access to Tottenham Court Tube, Walking distance to Seven Dials and Theater. Great, friendly staff and very good Restaurant. Rooms are small but comfortable and the Price is right.
If the carpeting in my room had been clean this would have been a perfect stay.
Great location if you want to stay close to the West End theatres and Covent Garden. The rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable.
I didn't like the TV works as is very complicated.
Location Breakfast Staff
Far too hot Noisy extractor fan and fan system - I asked to be moved and they were very accommodating. I was moved to a room on the 1st floor where the noise in to room was much less. However it was very hot and when I opened the window there was lots of noise from the AC equipment right outside.
This was my 2nd visit to this hotel. The staff are great, the location is fantastic and the rooms are small but comfortable. Great for business travel.
The public parts of the hotel - including a delicious breakfast
The room was tiny - it had a double bed, but if there had been two of us, I don't think we could manage. Only a slim person could get into the shower stall. I understand there are different size rooms. Once I stayed there is a generous room, but two subsequent visits were in quite uncomfortably small rooms.
Kenilworth has an excellent location but requires refurbishment.I moved to the Raddison Blu, Bloomsbury whicj is excellent and i have truly enjoyed my 6 week stay there.
The rooms at Kenilworth are very tiny, the furniture is well below standard, it generally gives a very poor impression of an otherwise nice hotel wirh excellent staff and good restaurant and lovely reception area.I have heard many people complaining and trying to move to their other hotel
Location cleanliness and staff.
Delux room small bathroom you had to lift the stuck down safety mat on floor to open door. Not good size bathroom in king size delux no bath which I love. Stayed in better hotels for the price of this one.
