The reception staff listened to my preferences and gave me a quiet room. The room was very comfortable & clean- I had everything I needed. When the hairdryer fused- the housekeeping team sorted it out efficiently.
Nothing. Will stay again- if I can get a good deal!
The staff were quite rude, particularly the concierge. There was a queue to check the bags in and get them out. There was no apology "or smile" which is very poor. We then asked for a taxi and were told he would get one.Ten minutes later I asked again and he said there was a 30 minute wait!! in London!! I would have missed the train, he then told us to walk to the end of the street and get one, it was pouring with rain!! again no smile, no apology. I will not stay here again, I stayed in the Bloomsbury the last 3 years and most certainly will stay there in future(great customer service). The hotel is very impersonal and there was not enough staff at busy times. Customers should not feel the stress of the staff at any time!!!
Location is perfect!
Single room was incredibly narrow considering the price, the shower is dirty! The kit boxes were empty!
Classy hotel within easy walking distance of Covent Garden
Room not ready on arrival although informed of estimated time of arrival at time of booking
I stayed two nights (14-15 november 2014 - room 615), single delux £230 including breakfast. In a nutshell: Pros: location (1 minute walk from the British Museum), good value for money, polite, smiling and professional staff (all of them), atmosphere, good choice for breakfast, not noisy, good shower, room clean. The single deluxe was indeed small but for a single person for few days is not an issue. I have seen also the double on the 7th floor and the room was very nice. Check-in and check-out was fast and painless. Lots of options in terms of public transport, but we walked most of the time as everything of interest for us was within walking distance. Definitely to keep in mind for my next trip to London.
Cons: carpet not very clean, sleepers not provided (I could have asked though).
Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable room Good restaurant Great location for several London attractions
Good location Friendly staff
Easy Access to Tottenham Court Tube, Walking distance to Seven Dials and Theater. Great, friendly staff and very good Restaurant. Rooms are small but comfortable and the Price is right.
If the carpeting in my room had been clean this would have been a perfect stay.
Great location if you want to stay close to the West End theatres and Covent Garden. The rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable.
I didn't like the TV works as is very complicated.
Location Breakfast Staff
Far too hot Noisy extractor fan and fan system - I asked to be moved and they were very accommodating. I was moved to a room on the 1st floor where the noise in to room was much less. However it was very hot and when I opened the window there was lots of noise from the AC equipment right outside.
This was my 2nd visit to this hotel. The staff are great, the location is fantastic and the rooms are small but comfortable. Great for business travel.
The public parts of the hotel - including a delicious breakfast
The room was tiny - it had a double bed, but if there had been two of us, I don't think we could manage. Only a slim person could get into the shower stall. I understand there are different size rooms. Once I stayed there is a generous room, but two subsequent visits were in quite uncomfortably small rooms.
Kenilworth has an excellent location but requires refurbishment.I moved to the Raddison Blu, Bloomsbury whicj is excellent and i have truly enjoyed my 6 week stay there.
The rooms at Kenilworth are very tiny, the furniture is well below standard, it generally gives a very poor impression of an otherwise nice hotel wirh excellent staff and good restaurant and lovely reception area.I have heard many people complaining and trying to move to their other hotel
Location cleanliness and staff.
Delux room small bathroom you had to lift the stuck down safety mat on floor to open door. Not good size bathroom in king size delux no bath which I love. Stayed in better hotels for the price of this one.
Huge bed and room. Very clean hotel throughout. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer provided in room. Hotel staff were very friendly. Excellent location.
The lift was broke once and we were on the 7th floor however it was fixed pretty quick.
The room was small but comfortable and clean.
We had to have the air con on the fan was very noisy. The bathroom was tired and in need of an update.
Excellent location and staff were lovely majority of the time
Happy I paid half price as room was very small and not all facilities detailed were in the room, also ruid night staff, when stated my room key did not work, he did not believe me and he went back to my room to check
The location was very convenient. Restaurant nearby in same ownership - £20 for steak or lobster - my steak was very good! Also recommend 'Aviator cocktails if you like Gin.
TV remote controller questionable? Room too warm. Traffic noise.
Helpful staff. Room was well appointed but on the small side.
I had to book on booking.com to get the cheap rate as the receptionist was unable to match it and wanted over £100 more for the same room!
Fell in shower due to broken door collapsing into shower cubilce. Not offereda change of room even though shower door could not be fixed .Sustained severe bruising in six places and was documented by on-duty staff but hotel never apologised or offered to reduce price of stay. Many things not working properly eg airconditioning leaking and bathrooms small and unsafe as very slippery floors when wet and no handles in baths/ showers.
The hotel is in a good location. Walkable distance to most of the museums and theaters. The staffs are friendly.
Staff Location Breakfast
The location is superb, reception area very attarctive and nice bar area.
for £275 per night, without breakfast, I had a room that was so small a cat could not be swung and when I complained had a response about how it was impossible to reconfigure the hotel!!!!!
Upgrade that was not very good Staff aren't empowered to satisfy a complaint London taxis haven't heard of the principles of customer service!
