A few minutes' walk from Paddington Station and near to Hyde Park and Madame Tussauds, this Victorian listed building is a small, family-run hotel offering bed and breakfast.
Score from 1071 reviews Good
Staff, from checking desk to restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful.
Close to covent garden & Leicester square both within walking distance. Tottenham court tube station close by.
Room very small & a very small double bed. The room smelt of stale cigarette smoke.
The prices Vs the Location and comfort

N/A all good
Lovely clean room. Close to British museum and West End. Safe in the room. Bathroom great.
Mini bar locked had to be opened by reception, couldn't put in own drinks or treats. No ice machine. Room a little small. Couldn't have the window blind up as room faced inwards and you could see into everyone's room and they could see into yours. Should consider having net curtains for privacy. Booked this hotel after travelling for a number of weeks needed a little luxury although room was very nice and I would recommend it I would not consider my experience on this visit four star.
Impeccable service. Close to everything. great restaurant.
Fantastic location, staff we're great, great choice at breakfast
Bath was leaking
Arrived at the hotel greeted by helpful and professional staff. We stayed in an executive room and had little extras which made it special. Beds were comfy and had a restful sleep after pounding the busy streets of London. Good transport links into other areas but close enough to walk to central places too,
Liked everything but cost of breakfast is a little high.
Location, breakfast, friendly staff
Ridiculously small sink in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was the smallest I've ever seen in my life.
Location was perfect Plenty to do around the vicinity Easy access to tube station
More choice in bt channels as slne did not work
Excellent position, Cleanliness, late checkout and very helpful and polite staff,
Bar prices/parking prices(Nearby no hotel car park)
Great location, comfortable and very welcoming staff
Great location, very near to British Museum. Staff were very helpful. Will definitely put the hotel on list of hotels to use again. Cannot comment on food, as did not eat at the hotel.
The air conditioning was brilliant as the weather became very hot!
room is good, breakfast is okay
but you must add some items into breakfast buffet: varieties of cheese (Feta, Gravier, Brie etc) fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and olives
Convenience, cleanliness, courteous staff, access to nearby attractions, good wifi.
Breakfast is very good. Very helphul staff. Next to British Museum.
My room was in the 1st floor with a street view and it was quite noisy.
Really great stay lovely hotel and great staff.
Helpfulness of staff, particularly front desk on check-in
Approachable and friendly staff.
Very small room.
Location was good, décor nice and staff pleasant.
For what I paid the room was small and the bathroom was tiny with no bath. There were no towelling robes and the hairdrier was nowhere near a mirror. The bedside table was shared between the twin beds and was miniscule, in fact I knocked a glass of water over my ipad trying to balance the 2 things on it. Very disappointing for the price - I will go back to the Thistle group next time. I did complain when I checked out but the man on reception said I should I get a more expensive room next time, I feel for £400 for 2 nights the price should at least include breakfast.
Location of hotel excellent. A quiet position even though you were central to everything and within walking distance to Covent Garden and all the shopping on Oxford Street. Staff cheerful and friendly, a quick efficient check-in and they made us feel welcome after a long journey.
Very warm in room. Air conditioning didn't seem to be working properly even though it was on coolest setting, so sleep disturbed as too hot.
