Radisson Blu Hotel, Leeds    

Bedroom was very spacious and well equiped for a short or long stay. Hotel is based in an excellent location in the centre of Leeds.

Restaurant lacked atmosphere and needs to be seperated from main reception area.

The location ,and quality,stayed in four hotels in Leeds,as regular visitors,this is the best,in our budget,car par below.

Location, comfortable room and ease of access and parking.

Cooked breakfast only lukewarm at 9.00am. Choice good but continental breakfast (cheese slices) looking sad and unappetising. Staff kind and polite but not really on the ball......ie plates from first course lingering. Bar staff in evening only mildly interested......a top flight manager around the place would make this hotel "sing". Have stayed several times at the Radisson before on business, we came to Leeds this time for a wedding as part of a large party, I booked some of our family in the Queens and some in the Hilton and they were super impressed. Overall, the Radisson is ok but could be so much more memorable as its a great building in a great location.

Business class room was good.location was spot on!! For shopping and bars etc.

I was told the parking next door to the radisson have a deal where guests get a discount on there parking, I never had a discount and ended up paying £17:50 which is far to much to pay, after just paying all that money for a room etc.....

Style of furniture in bedrooms. Breakfast. Location. Comfortable bed

Uncomfortable chairs in breakfast dining area. Very weak coffee at breakfast. Cheap coffee served in flasks in 'break out' areas. Very very noisy wedding guests (not hotel's fault, I know, but it did make sleeping difficult!)

Location was excellent for shopping in the day and the local bars and restaurants at night. Elements of the hotel were excellent but a few things let it down.

Our room was extremely dusty. Breakfast buffet was not re-stocked quickly enough, fresh orange was empty as was the semi skimmed milk for cereal and the eggs. Waiting staff very slow at clearing used dishes at breakfast.

I am a vegetarian and the breakfast was very limited for me. So i was disappointed.

Having arrived early at the hotel we were able to check into our room as it was ready for us. At check in was told we were on a room only rate but when I queried this and showed the print out of my booking which showed a b and b rate this was immediately rectified.

We stayed in room 443 and the finish on some of the furniture needs to be repaired.

City Centre location for us to go to the opera and meet up with family & friends

The room was cold and no amount of adjustment gave any heat. The more you adjusted the very noisy fan the more cold air blew out. The duvet on the bed was not big enough to cover two people. We went to bed in dressing gowns and socks. The water was not hot enough for a bath although we were asked if we preferred a bath or shower. The television was protruding from a wall where you needed to pass it to get to the dressing table causing a hazard as you turned around and found yourself about to hit your head. The lighting was dim and dingy and unless you took the key card out of the power socket any pillow movement through the night switched the over bed light on from a switch positioned at pillow height. Although it was May the outside temperature was way below the seasonal average and hotels of this class should be able to allow heating to cover this. We dread to think if you needed the fan for hotter weather what the noise would be like all night. We will never choose Raddison again. We prefer 4 & 5 star hotels and usually pay much more than this particular trip so we probably got what we paid for!

room no ventilation and air conditioning didn't work. Didn't appreciate being woken up by housekeepers at 10 AM when we had a 12 MD checkout. However we informed the staff of the issues above and reduced our bill.

Location. This is the reason we always choose this hotel when we are in Leeds. And of course the friendliness of the staff.

Room was lovely

No mention at time of booking that it is an ectra £6 each per day to use pool. And its not a hotel pool its a virgin public pool in a separate building! .

It was a large room

The curtains didn't meet and therefore let streaming daylight in at dawn. The telephone in the room wasn't working, therefore we couldn't communicate internall with friends in other rooms or reception. There was insufficient tea/coffee/milk in the room but couldn't contact reception for replacements. I had selected this hotel as it had leisure facilities but when I booked (7 rooms in total) was not made are of the extra charge and/or business room allocation.

Breakfast was poor, room was only ok - stayed in 603 business class - have had much nicer...

Room temp was a bit warm and no matter how i operated the air-con i could not get this to cool down, some simple instructions would have been great, but it did not spoil my stay.

Very close to the shopping centres of Leeds. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Parking is expensive even if it is a special rate.

The room was very hot that we couldn't sleep at all. Would not stay again.
