Its location. We stayed in room 618. The toilet seat did not fit the bowl and the seat would not stay up when raised. When men stand to urinate they prefer not to splash over a seat. When a seat will not remain raised men will normally move to the side of the bowl and carefully hold the seat up with a judiciously placed knee. The manic designer of the room located the toilet within an area that denied the user access to either side - it must have been a woman who designed this. The tv screen/system rather cutely only revealed the instructions on how to turn it on when it was turned on - obviously designed by a sadist (as with the toilet)

Location is great for the shops, restaurants, bars and clubs of Covent Garden. Refurbishment has been done very well. Travelling on foot to the hotel, there is no 'Radisson' sign to indicate the hotel. It is easy to miss it. Google maps just confuse it. The hotel is on the corner of Mercer street and Monmouth street - very simple! - when you know.

Lovely friendly staff at reception. Best hotel we have stayed in London. Position fantastic for covent garden, shops and theatres. Room was clean and although all twin rooms had gone, they upgraded us to a King. Bathroom was large for London with great toiletries. Complementary water was a nice gesture. Overall very impressed and would stay again.

The best part was the staff they were so friendly, especially Nelson who checked us in after our 24 hour flight. We were so tired it made huge difference to the start of our holiday to have someone so friendly. The location was good as we walked most places. The hotel is modern but also charming. We were impressed with the how clean everything was. The breakfast was excellent, we paid extra so it was included with our room rate. We also ate dinner one night, it was really good the value was good too as we chose a set menu. One night was a bit noisy from rowdy crowds late at night but you are in a very busy are and would have to expect that. If that bothered you ask for a room not facing the street. We loved overlooking the street, so were quite happy to put up with a bit of noise.

Although there were a few little problems with the room when we first arrived, the customer service was fantastic and sorted everything out brilliantly. Would definitely stay here again.

We liked the central situation - close to Charing Cross railway station. We both find walking rather difficult now, but were able to stroll to the opening of a shop in Monmouth Street and look at some other local shops. We also went to the Portrait Gallery on our way back to the station, A small complaint about the sauce accompanying one of our dinners was, after speaking to a waitress about it, basically ignored - the chef saying it was always like that. At breakfast, the staff seemed to be finding it difficult to keep up with service, with some customers having to ask several times for ordered food and drinks.

The "standard" double rooms are quite small. The "better" double rooms are very comfortable, but, of course, at an extra cost!!

Very nice and comfortable hotel, perfect location, frendly personel. Room was very clean but could've been a bit bigger; bathroom - perfect, well designed and equipped; bed matrass was not comfortable enough and bed itself was quite narrow. The general impression - very good hotel, not cheap but woth it I will definitely stay there again.

Room and bathroom very comfortable , clean and nicely decorated. No view from the window at all but this made for a very quiet nights sleep. The bar and restaurant were very noisy, dark and extremely expensive.

The location was excellent, I loved not having to use the tube and being close to theatres, shops, restaurants etc.very relaxing. Even though it was a busy area the room was very quiet. The furnishings, facilities and the bathroom were all of a high standard. The room was smaller than we are used to in similar hotels. We found the 'technology' a bit frustrating, tv difficult to turn on, control of some of the lights a mystery - we would have appreciated some information to help. There was no hotel info in the room at all. The extractor in the bathroom was very noisy and stayed on for a long time. I would have liked to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

Room and bathroom tastefully furnished and modern.. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breadkfast excellent. Very good location for Convent Garden. I would have liked a choice of pillow. One feather one would have been good. the 'dunlopillows' are hard and unforgiving. The safe situated where it was on the floor inside the wardrobe and at one side was almost inaccessible!
