staff recognised me and greeted me by name. Artworks in foyer & breakfast area. I stayed on level 3. The heating in the corrider was very oppressive, given the fact Glasgow was having a heatwave. Carpet had prominent stains - perhaps room 359 should have its carpet steam cleaned or replaced. As an Australian the lock on the mini bar made be feel like a convict from colonial days! |

Very central and close to all amenities, beautiful reception and rooms. Only one thing, hotel has no car parking facility, it took me over 1 hour to find a space, which ended up around 400mtrs from the hotel, with one-way roads I found myself lost and had to take a taxi back to the hotel. |

It's a clean, modern hotel with everything you could want as a business traveller. Lovely clean room and bathroom. My only complaint was the poor lighting in the room. There is no main, overhead light so in the evenings or early mornings when it's dark outside, it is incredibly gloomy in the room. The few lights around the room offer virtually no light either. They really need to sort this. I'm only in my 30s but if I was more elderly with poor vision, I would find this intollerable. |

Helpful staff, speedy response to queries, comfort, peaceful, clean, food, value for money when you order room service, a trolley would be better then a tray, trays are heavy and difficult to carry by someone who is staying on their own-when putting out by the room door for collection by hotel staff,complimentary slippers would also be good where the rooms are semi-tiled . |

The respons on extras due to announced celebration of our 28th anniversary. Very much appreciated the kind welcome and a bottle of wine - on the house. Also the profesionality of the staff in general. Thank you! Technical matter only. The upper support of the shower handle came (was) loose. The screw had to be tightened and plastic cap remounted. The cap was remounted but the screw not fixed. |

There was one issue that cropped up. My wife and I anlong with our 10 week old daughter were put on a floor that had half of the rooms as smoking rooms. There was a very strong smell of smoke in the hallway. Smoking contributes to cot death, therefore this was of great concern to my wife and I. We did not know about half the floor being smoking rooms until we were checking out. |
