The Concierge (person with the beard) in the hotel was a mine of information. Nothing was too much bother. Advice was balanced and always on the marks. Well done. The layout of the room was a joke. We booked a double room. There was a pillar in the middle of the room which was supposed to house all the services:- Internet, power, TV, Mini-Bar etc. The hotel made the mistake of then attaching a desk to this pillar. Result was that you could not move around the room. Very poor design. Bed was crammed into a small space with the result that one person did not have enough space when getting out of bed. Wall in the bathroom was constructed of glass bricks. As a result when one person went to the bathroom during the night the light woke their partner. Radisson needs to sack their interior design company and employ someone who stays in hotels regularly.

The food was good. The staff very helpful and friendly. I paid a premium for a 4/5 * However services were limited - limited tv channels news, soprt or music nothing for a family to watch. There was no room service menu which would have been useful. I didn't feel I was getting a premium product.

Central location within walking distance of the railway station. The hotel overall is a really good standard and the food is very good value for money.

The rooms have recently been redecorated and they are gorgeous. The staff are very welcoming and nothing seems a bother to them. We go to the Radisson Blu every year just before christmas as it is just on Arglye Street for shopping and superb restaurants are just on your door step. We also had room service and everything was piping hot. Just a perfect hotel to stay in and we also got an upgrade which we requested when booking if it was available.

The location of the hotel was good and close to the train station. The design of the hotel rooms, we saw two, were uncomfortable, both in selected artwork and the pillar in the center of the room. Breakfast was over priced.

City Centre location This stay was dissappointing. The bar staff certainly didn't match up to the description in the room hotel booklet especailly the small bar, we relocated due to his attitude, but the large bas was much the same. The alchohol selection and stock in the bars has changed and was one of the reasons for the attraction supplementing the location. Thank goodness for a reasonable selection of cold foods on the breakfast buffet. Trying to catch staff attention and service was abysmal, they were too interested in catching up about their exploits from the night before. Tea & toast 10 mins after we had finished eating is unnacceptable and the toast, cheap bead straight out the packet. The last time it saw a toaster would be the first. One disgruntled customer.

I like the central location of the hotel and the facilities within the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and couldnt do enough for us throughout our stay. The room was very excellent and the bathroom lovely and spacious. My only little bug bear is the bed was a little too hard for me but that is my preference.

It is very convenient for my and my company use the hotel with few people being unhappy. When we have people staying at the hotel I have found it a great way to socialise with vendors and clients with the large pool table a great fun way to wind down at the end of the day. This time round the pool cues were not available which was a dissappointment as I had booked the hotel at the end of a large computer project and myself and some close colleagues were looking for to enjoing the night at the table. I would probably like to see a continental breakfast included in a city hotel.
