Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The breakfasts could be better. The sausage, bacon & egg were low quality. Please use good quality local produce, ideally organic. Everything else was fine though (coffee, tea, toast, fruit, etc.)

The friendly welcome ,spacious bedroom ,tasteful decor ,cleanliness, fantastic breakfast with many choices and Roe Valley Country Park on the doorstep all contributed to making our stay most enjoyable .

Excellent for a family with young family (we stayed with 2 children under the age of 2) facilities for children better than any other hotel ever stayed in- swimming pool & playroom great,kids DVDs provided by reception, family room 35sq foot more than adequate for 4 of us, quiet, warm and very comfortable, staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Recommending this hotel to everyone I know. Will definitely be going back soon

It is set in a beautiful location with pretty countryside all around. Very relaxing. Also the food was very nice The spa facilities were disappointing. The pool is very small and as there were three other people in there, a gentleman and his two sons, there was no chance of getting a swim. The sauna, jacuzzi and steam room are also very small.

The room as really large as was the bathroom. It was also very quiet despite the hotel being full that night. Having to queue for 20 minutes for breakfast - wasn't impressed that they couldn't cope with a large number of guests coming down to breakfast at 09:45 on a Saturday morning. People are there for a rest and shouldn't feel it's necessary to come down earlier. There should be more lighting when driving up the roadway to the hotel from the main road. Also you couldn't walk into the town centre as there was no footpath and the roadway is very dark and narrow.

From arrival to departure we loved every minute of it. Superb hotel & facilities. Had a great time at the pool. On site facilities a bonus and as a family spent time at the golf driving range. Staff attentive and breakfast excellent. Can't wait for an excuse to go back! Small pool can become congested due to also being a health spa with facilities open to public members along with hotel guests. That said with the number of children in during our visit it must be frustrating to members also!

Our two night stay was excellent value for money. We stayed round the hotel the whole time and relaxed. There are plenty of areas to sit in, enjoy a good book with a few drinks. And in the evening have a meal in the Coach House or the Greens restaurant.

The food in the Coach House restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. You can walk to the Roe Valley Country Park from the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel was very spacious and clean throughout.

The hotel was brilliant for relaxing, the use of the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzi. Food was excellent with a wide variety of choice. Would recommend it to all for a weekend break in the north coast.

“We got married at this Hotel. Brilliant! The staff were really helpful and accomodated all our requests. The food (Turkey & Ham dinner) was amazing, as commented by loads of our guests and plenty of it too! The dinning reception hall is a great size and they were even able to light up the recesses in the ceiling to match our purple flowers and chair covers. No bother cueing at the bar as they had loads of staff on who really made everyone feel at home and relaxed. With a few flowers and decorative touches the room looked amazing and even though we didn't spend a fortune we had so many guest tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been too.
