Location - proximity to Tube. 1. Single room very small. 2. Could not open window so very hot and stuffy at night. 3. Cleaning staff made a lot of noise early in the morning. 4. Black mold on bottom left hand corner of shower. Disgusting! 5. €200 for 2 nights in a stuffy shoebox is not nice.

Great position. This is the only good point about the hotel. - Ottima posizione. Questo è l'UNICO punto positivo dell'albergo. The single rooms are tiny. So small that I had to ask for a change, as I could barely move in the bathroom. The deluxe single is also quite small and apparently they sell it as a double too.The lift is very akward to get to and too small. It is used by the personnell as well and is therefore often not usable.

This hotel is not presenting the Radisson Hotels chain. They do not deserve 4 star at all.Except the easy connection to London metro there is "nothing". The Edwardian Vanderbilt hotel was a very bad choice of us .First of all everywhere smells horrible, because of humidity .Dirty rooms and corridors, very old room furniture and textiles, impossible to open the windows, small and uncomfortable bathrooms.Although we upgraded ourselves from a standard to deluxe room unfortunately nothing has change.Reception staff is not gentle, they sleep at 2.30 in their office and even not able to make a "simple check out" with in half an our.Price&output relation is totally negative.

Did not live up to expectations - expensive, but quality did not match. Small room. Had to ask for a table. Poor breakfast selection.

The location. The single room that I was given was an absolute insult to be described as a single room. It would actually be better described as a large wardrobe with a single bed in it. I know single rooms are more compact, but this room was a joke. You couldn't even open the bathroom door without it banging on the toilet and there was not even enough room to put any luggage down. The air conditioning didn't work and made a dripping sound all night that kept me awake. This type of room should be closed as a single and used as a housekeeping store, as that is how small it is. I expect single rooms to be smaller, but this was off the scale.

I mentioned on my booking that I was going with crutches and needed an accessible room. They decided to put me in a room that I had to walk through endless corridors and open 7 doors to get there. The room flooded with water, my clothes got wet and when they send them for drying, they never appeared back. Finally on check out, they got my bill wrong and tried to charge me almost twice. Thanks god I always review the bills well... If you can, avoid this hotel, not worth it!

Restaurant service and food very good While the public areas were very good our room 126 was cramped, the bathroom was badly designed almost an obstacle course event to get in the bath and the room overlooked airconditioning units with virtually no natural light.... Close it or make it a store room you should be embarasssed taking money for it

The location, the room was very good, no traffic noise but we were staying in a room on the side and not the front. 2 x soft drinks in the bar cost well over £6. Rip off. My advice go somewhere else nearby for a drink.

Location for central London and the close proximity of the tube station was a big plus. The rooms were a good size, the bar was good and with plenty of café's and shops nearby again the location was perfect. I was on the fourth floor and had to use the stairs every morning as the lift was always busy with the housekeeping staff.

The Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt is situated in a beautiful building right on Cromwell Rd in walking distance of Harrods, the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The location was excellent, the hotel was beautiful and comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The only slightly off-putting aspect of our stay at the Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt would be the size of the lift, very small but thankfully our room was on the first floor and so once we found the stairs we only used the lift when we had our luggage.

Well located next to Gloucester Road tube. Nice bar if a little expensive. Good efficient staff and small but comfortable rooms. Only small hiccup was I had a 3 day stay and ordered a newspaper. On 2 of the days the wrong one was delivered which seemed sloppy. As I say it was a small thing.

Very helpful staff, esp in anticipating our needs; central location, good quality room and very clean. Excellent range of foods for breakfast. The room was a little cramped (bed only a few inches from door) and the bathroom sink was very tiny making it a little difficult to clean teeth! Also the air conditioning in the ceiling made a 'tick tick' sound all night.

Very fiendley staff. Perfect lokation, nice neighbourhood with good restaurants and tube near by, but housekeeping staff were quite busy knocking on doors early in the morning for cleaning and worked unintentinaly as wake-up-call, somewhat dark and badly furnished rooms

It was nice that they let us check in at 12 instead of 15 which was their usual check in time. The room matched the expectations. I was worried that we were gonna end up with a small London hotel room but thanks God we had a real big room. The location is perfect, you literally walk 2 minutes to the Gloucester Station which is on Piccadily, Central and District Lines. It was perfect that we could go everywhere without changing or with only one change or so. The room was so nice with high ceiling which is my favourite. I had no idea that it was an historical building so it was a lovely surprise for me. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to explore the city and if you wanna have good night sleep. Our room looked to the back and I asked for a front view room but they said they didn't have it. It didn't bother me much, though it would've been really perfect had we stayed in a room which had a view to the street since the street looked really nice with white old buildings.
