Staff are helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is very good. Bar staff also very good.
Decor of bedrooms incredibly 'stuffy' and our bathroom was very small and uncomfortable. The magnified mirror on wall is so high up that one needs to be minimum of 5'10 to see into it! We were in room 301, whilst a spacious room it was very noisy on main road. Piped music in restaurant (breakfast time) too loud and boring.
Very helpful reception staff
Really hard beds Disorganised staff during breakfast
Close to tube, easy access to Heathrow. Lots of character.
Rooms are small, but that's to be expected for the age of property.
Great staff Good Breakfast
Terrible nights sleep! Bed was like sleeping on a park bench!! Bad back next morning!!
We were really happy with our stay at Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt! The hotel location was great, the decor inside and in the room was nice too. We also got upgraded and complimentary glass of wine for both of us in the lounge as it was our anniversary. Really enjoyed the Vanderbilt!
We had flown overnight from America, were able to check in early, have a lovely breakfast and get some sleep in a lovely quiet room. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Will definitely recommend.
Staff are amazing at this hotel, will defiantly be staying again
Stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and comfortable. Bar was comfortable.
Bathroom was very very small. 12.5%service charge in the bar seems a little high for pouring a drink.
1. Rooms well kept 2. Helpful staff 3. Convenient location. It is 1/2 a block from the train station with access to 3 lines, including the Picadilly that takes you to Heathrow. 4. Free WiFi
1. Room is compact 2. My room was located near the staircase, so I heard noise at all hours of the night.
Food was nice staff were helpfull location is great would certainly return
Bed was not that comfortable
Everything was top class
Restaurant & Bar prices rather steep!
Breakfast was good Friendly staff
The bed was broken Very small room
Parking was a real challenge. However, Jubril went the extra mile. He personally accompanied us to the street parking and was the one who fed the meter the whole time for 2 days. I have stayed in 5-6 star hotels and usually a business or first class traveller and am quite accustomed to 5 star service but I never encountered this kind of service ever!!!!! Will definitely come back!
Location being splendid is an obvious but the service is also impeccable! Highly recommended . .
Location Bar Decoration Wifi
Room and bathroom were too tiny (the toilette was facing the wall only 10cm apart from it). When the receptionist told us we had booked a twin room by mistake, she said it was Booking's fault because all you want is make money out of us all (!!!)
Asked for double bed but got given two singles which we asked to be moved from and they were happy to meet are need great service
Despite what is said below the location of this hotel is very good.
When we booked we were asked if we preferred a twin or double room. We requested a double room. When we checked in and got to our room it was as twin. We rang reception to ask why and they said because we had used booking.com - why should that make a difference? The room itself and the batfhroom were very small. With hindsight £148.50 for one night and no breakfast would make us think again before returning to this hotel.
We were attending a concert at the RAH and this hotel is well located being only a short walk from the venue. Rooms were comfortable with all the amenities you can require. Delighted to see a bath is standard, so many hotels now only offer showers. Bar area was very quirky and very pleasant. All staff were very attentive and considerate.
The lift is very slow and small, we took to using the stairs despite being on the 4th floor. Would have been nice to see more festive decorations as it was Christmas - a tree and a wreath isn't really enough!
Absolutely fabulous... We had such a great time from the breakfast, staff, location.. Nothing to complain about...
Front office and bar all great
bedrooms ok but no side tables no reading lights and the carpet was stained and dirty
The bar was a lovely place for a nightcap after our night out and the service at breakfast couldn't be faulted.
No bedside tables where do you put your glasses etc, you shouldn't have to drag a chair over at an hotel like this.
The location is great, nearby the tube station, lots and lots of restaurants within short walking distance. Near the V&A and other museums. We've stayed here for almost 10 years each Christmas season and always comfortable. Re-designed the bar and restaurant this last year.
Our room was probably the farthest away from the lift and reception as you could possibly get. Lots of walking to get to the room, and then to get out of the hotel. Will ask for something closer next time.
Small room, filthy carpet
Enthusiastic staff and clean room. The location is really cloese to Gloucester Station, like 1 min walk.
The wifi will be disconnected hundreds of time in a day in the room.
