This friendly, relaxing and elegant house is an easy walk from the historic city of Bath and has free off-street parking. Highways Guest House is a charming Victorian town house, built in 1874.

The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was lovely and very filling.
Free Wi Fi Ample car parking cooked breakfast included in room price good size TV good homemade food in restaurant Friendly staff
Dated decor front facing rooms noisy radio from downstairs can be heard in room at 07:00 on a Sunday morning!
We always pick this room for our stay . Really comfortable The breakfast is great cooking what ever you want .
The heating wasn't working well this stay and there was a damp patch by the window which needs attention
Friendly staff Very clean, rooms cleaned daily Freshly cooked food and good sized portions
Was expecting pool table and dart board but had been removed 2 years before - website needs updating
Wi-fi and the breakfast.
The noise from down stairs from pub and road noise. Dark hallways.
Good basic pub food of enormous quantity. Room basic but good, comfortable and clean. Shower excellent.
Bit noisy from young 'locals' on an evening out !!! but this was not really a problem
We liked the room, nice and comfy spacious nice sized bathroom. We also ate there which i would highly recommend massive food portions and a good choice of what to eat even of your a vegetarian like me or a massive meat eater like my partner.
Check out is early but only fault.
The staff were very un friendly, left stood waiting for a drink whilst the bar man stood there texting on there phone. Constant loud bad language by locals, would never go there again or recommend it!
The choice and quality of the food was very good. The service was good and the room very pleasant.
just about everything, especially breakfast
could do with a more than one key
The friendliness Peaceful because it was an ordinary pub night The food.
That our daughter had to be on the floor above and had a very inconsiderate neighbour.
Every person we met at the hotel were very helpful. The breakfast and evening meal selections were good.
The stairs to our top floor rooms were steep and awkward to manage when carrying bags.
Nothing to dislike
the staff were very friendly and made you welcome as soon as you went in,the food was very good with large portions, and home made, the room wass excellent, and the bathroom looked as if it new, beds very comfortable.
only one negative the room could do with double glazing as it faced the main road,so a lot of traffic noise during the night
The hotel had character. The room was neat and clean. The breakfast was good and plentiful.
Teenage people in the pub/ outside eating area were loud and the language crude. This did not make us comfortable and would not have been suitable for anyone staying there with children. The dining area was too warm and needed better air circulation.
Tired furnishings + Single glazed sash windows + Room overlooking busy high street + Plus unseasonable warm weather (not hotels fault) = a very poor nights sleep. The place had an odd smell!
Rooms clean and newly decorated
Noisy neighbours in adjoining room Pub slightly run down and very "local" Signage around drug usage on the premises somewhat off-putting
- old English pub charm - proprietor Mike was pleasant
- traffic on main road right next to hotel was an issue while sleeping. This traffic also made it difficult leaving the car park during peak times (however, road works in town may assist with this in the future?)
Great one night stay. very convenient for Bath - used the Park and Ride so hassle free. Much better value than city centre accommodation. Great staff. Will stay again when in the area.
Location, cost and then the food and ale were all really good value, couldn't fault the place or the people.
Helpful staff for a very beautiful hotel. Bath and Frome are not so far.
the area of radstock and surrounding areas are good, staff friendly
very noisy at night with passing traffic, needs double glazing at least in rooms. Rooms very tired and dirty in places
Lovely pub with a great feel, excellent food. I wasn't expecting the room to be as lovely as it was.
A few odd jobs need doing in the room, but nothing too serious to spoil my stay.
Easy to find the Hotel. Good breakfast. Good shower, but nowhere to put soap and shampoo.
Poor service ethic of the female staff members, who were unfriendly. Plumbing system needs renovation to eliminate the loud noise when any guests in our and other rooms use the cold water tap at the sink.
Stayed in room1 which has a king size four poster bed. Great sized room, very comfortable bed. Had clean linen & complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities & wall mounted TV. Breakfast was absolutely superb.
Room had damp on the walls, the bath panel was broken and crudely repaired with sellotape. The hotel looked very tired and in need of some tlc. Although the hotel was central to the places we were visiting, Radstock itself had nothing to offer.
