The managers were very friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the room was clean and most importantly so were the towels and bed linen. The breakfast was excellant and in all this was good value for money. The decor was very dated and shabby as was the furniture, TV and items in the room.Everywhere needed redecorating and new carpets, I was surprised as when we arrived we were going to leave, when we checked how clean the bedlinen, towels and bathrooms were we decided to stay. The food was excellant and all the crockery and tables were very clean, everything looked like it had been neglected but had been cleaned up. |

Just the fact that I had a bed and a shower.... It needed refurbishing throughout. The pub was very loud downstairs. The rooms were boiling hot and I couldn't open the window. The booking was incorrect as my colleague Sarah was not booked in even though I received a confirmation through booking.com |

The hotel served its purpose. It had the basics needed. The hotel is on a very busy main road, the noise was very bad. The hotel served a nice breakfast but the new owners were not providing any other food. The hotel gave us basic accomodation and the people were nice, however, the whole place needed a good clean and redecorating. Oh, and double, even triple, glazing would not go amiss. |

the friendliness of both the staff and locals in the pub and a good breakfast and good value for money, the room was lovly and big with freeview available on the t.v in the room also the co-ordination of bedding curtains and the pine used in the room i would have preferred the availability to guests of an evening meal on a sunday as this was not available. |

This hotel is 30 mins bus ride away from the Centre of Bath. It is convenient if you have a tight budget. The room was not very clean, and there was a mix-up with the rooms which according to Hotel staff had been a mistake by booking.com |

Not a lot! The staff tried their best. Pretty much everything. The room wasn't clean, the bedspread was covered in stains and fab burn holes, the bathroom had litter in it and the floor had not been swept, the noise from the road traffic outside was incredibly loud, the communal areas were dirty, the bedrooms and communal areas need a serious overhaul - very shabby and uncared for. |

the staff were relaxed and quite helpful The hotel was on a busy road so the rooms were noisy. The rooms were clean and fine for the price but the decor was somewhat old and really could do with sprucing up a bit. The exterior of the hotel was untidy - cigarette ends and broken glass. |
