Staff very friendly and food was superb in the restaurant. We stayed in one of the apartments with a fabulous view of the city.
Nothing apart from it being slightly out of the way to go into London.
The bathroom is lovely, the amenities are amazing there library k did reading jn
During checkout I was being accused of ordering 3 breakfasts when there was only two of us staying and we hadn't left our room. They had me waiting around for 20 minutes while they figured it out as my word was Not good enough. Very annoying
Shuttle bus to nearest tube Is a great service, always available and never let us down, good location for what we wanted to do and staff were very helpful.
It's not a bad experience but the bar area is small and is more an extension of the restaurant rather than somewhere cozy to sit and chat with friends
Late shuttle bus drivers, rooms taking forever to get up to temperature! Trying to charge me for things I hadn't purchased.
The rooms where spacious and clean, view was okay. bathroom was great, had a huge walk in shower. Free shuttle service was excellent. Restaurant was also great - food amazing but pricey.
The spa. There was builing work going on in the relaxtion room which had a view of the thames. this was not stated on the website before I booked, they have a "Cold reflexology pool" - what is relaxing about that? the steam room had a shower head in there to cool down which didnt work. I was left disappointed. I have been to the Hotel Vetra in Battersea, which has a superior Spa.
Staff are really helpful and skillful, it is my 3rd or 4th time to stay in this hotel and will stay again for sure.
Get in the hotel from the parking is a bit annoying but the staff helped always.
The bath with a t.v
They need a more reliable taxi firm. I booked a taxi both mornings for 7.45am pick up. The first day it was 5 minutes late. The second it was 30 minutes late. Not an acceptable service. Taxi driver was rude also.
Very relaxing hotel with extremely helpful staff, shuttle service to and from tube station, slight problem with shower was rectified immediately but then moved to an upgraded room because of this and I wasn't even complaining!
I left my handbag in the restaurant after breakfast. I was the only 1 at breakfast so they all knew whjo i was but, 2 hours later I realised I had left my bag there & had to go back to get it. They should have handed it back to me in my room straight away not keep it at their desk!
The wifi really is not up today's modern and expected standards Mobile reception close to Jon existsnt
Staff were very helpfull
Was told had free upgrade to apartment however on walking in a very strong smell of smoke was encountered the staff did however move us to another one. No housekeeping seemed to have been done on return late in the evening bed was still unmade and only one damp bath towel was available staff did give us new ones but for a 5 star hotel felt this was rather poor.
The double room was lovely and had all the facilities needed. Found the stay to be so relaxing and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Stayed 28th January 2015
*Excellent facilities *Comfy room *Friendly staff
*Little or no wifi access in the morning (assume because there are too many people using it) *Building/maintenance work occurring that sounded like it was in all rooms surrounding the room I was in. I was not informed of this upon arrival. *Upon checkout, workmen moving through the hotel foyer.
This was a gift for my sister who had just got married. Taqi was the staff who made it wounderful. Was given a Free upgrade amazing suit.
The female on reception was bland and unfriendly. Despite my sister wearing a wedding dress did not even smile or congratulate her. Very off putting. The terrace on 17th has no decor thought would have benefit chairs, outdoor heater etc
Breakfast was awful and room shapes and sizes are really odd.
The hotel room was lovely, clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly.
On the Sunday morning, after a late night out in London for a staff party, we were woken very early by the cleaners in the next room making a lot of noise. I get that rooms need cleaning, but could they attempt to be more considerate on a Sunday morning
the room was very comfortable and the room was spacious.Great stay would stay again.
the location of the room was on the main road.It was a very busy road all night. No toiletries to take away, and the shuttle service to clapham junction was a bit hit and miss .
Our room was huge with a separate study area. Plenty of tea, good quality furnishings and a bathroom as big as my lounge at home. Multi spray shower, bath with tv, toiletries, robe, slippers. Everything is good quality and just lovely. It was our second visit and they upgraded us and put faux rose petals on our bed. Nice touch as it was a special occasion. Love this hotel!
Restaurant has a great view, lovely intimate bar and delicious cocktails. Menu very varied but frankly, I'm not impressed with the food. I've eaten there twice and both times were disappointing. But - it saves walking out in the cold wind and rain somewhere else and they do give 50% off so not a deal breaker for us. And the bedroom made up for the taste of the food.
Clean and nice rooms
Had to wait for everything. 2 hours+ for room service.
Room deluxe double was spacious, well laid out and the bed was very comfy. The shower was fantastic. I enjoyed the breakfast, only had continental but the range on offer of items was superb and fresh fruit etc was delicious. Restaurant evening meal was fantastic, starters and main meal were delicious and if you are a guest and order 2 courses you get 50% off the food bill making the price good value for money. Staff were polite and friendly.
Minor things. Wifi on phone I had to log in all the time (s4) as it kept saying low speed and disconnecting. treadmill screens for tv were all over the place malfunctioning (used the facilities every evening). Wouldn't let any of this spoil my overall stay. This is an excellent hotel.
secure underground parking, and comfy bed.
room was so cold we had to get into bed fully clothed, even after calling downstairs to do something, it was unbearable and checked out early next day. heli pad next door was noisy, air con was loud enough to interrupt sleep. food was substandard pub grub, microwaved to oblivion and overpriced.
We needed to be close to the Royal Academy of Dance for the weekend as our son had a weekend course there. It was less than a minutes drive away so perfect on that front. We were "upgraded" to an apartment which was very spacious and had fantastic views over the river. We didn't use the spa or any if the hotel facilities at all so can't comment
They didn't tell us when they "upgraded" us to an apartment that it was a separate building, and was obviously only part owned (or rented) by the hotel. The apartment felt completely soulless and cut off.
The building we stayed in was really nosey
The room was amazing the best hotel room Iv stayed in. The view was beautiful had an amazing time would deffintaly recommend and would deffintaly return.
