They let it out to workman who were noisy left mud everywhere inside and out. Shouted on a sunday morning early and thumped up and down stairs. All smoked right outside the building disgusting
The company I was with!
Stains, stains and more stains! Sheets, walls, carpet, sofa all covered in stains. Bed sheets weren't ironed so looked as though someone else had slept in them. Workmen living in several rooms of the hotel who obviously worked on the fields trod mud all through the hotel and were not told and also banging and shouting at early hours of the morning. They were living at the hotel as they had tubs of margarine, cream and milk on the outside of their windows on the sills! Beer cans thrown around, Very musty smell. Unhelpful staff on reception.Nothing good to say
overflowing rubbish bins. mud from workers staying there. litter around entrance .early morning noise. dreadful place to stay
we have been here many times we always like to stay here we like the price and the comfort of the hotel
very nice hotel but badly run
no hot water, room was cold on arrival on a winter day
Good value Good location Good restaurant next door.
TV wasn't working Cleaning wasnt of standards I am use to
For the price good value, comfortable and a nice spacious room.
Upon arrival, we found hairs in the bed, looked like the bed sheets hadn't been changed. The floor was covered in dirt and the toilet bowl, we found somebody had left us a present.
Located within acceptable traveling of my family function.
Whole hotel stank of smoke as Eastern European residents stood at front door constantly smoking. All non-smoking rooms in my group stank of smoke. Bathroom extractor fan did not work. Numerous empty drink bottles under bed. Bed has 2 broken legs and was therefore unstable. Room not ready and not prepared for 4 persons when arrived at 4pm despite me calling to say arriving shortly. Hairdryer did not work, had to be replaced. Had to ask for more towels (4 staying) as only 1 in room. Not informed of any wi-fi available.
The stay was good, staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay there again without thinking twice.
The TV satellite signal was poor but other than that all was fine
By far the cheapest deal for the weekend before Christmas, and ideally located for rural Leicestershire. Comfortable bed and quite good linen.
This is an ex-Travelodge and the fittings and decor are definitely showing their age with peeling paint, etc. The slightly tired air wasn't helped by not very thorough cleaning.
Unfortunately the continental breakfast was not available as the restaurant now did not open in the morning. However ASDA 2 miles toward town serves breakfast.
Cheap and cheerful
The location was the best thing also great food next door . The lady on reception very helpful
Stayed 10 nights not once was my room hoovered or beds changed I stripped my bed for cleaners but that was very rare room was cleaned I stay away every week with work never stayed anywhere like this if I hadn't paid in advance or the lady not so nice on reception I dread to think not the way to run anything especially when you paying as they have no cleaners at present
Location was good nice Indian next door
Place was not clean bedlinin had blood stains on it shower curtain mouldy wifi useless tv useless
Cheap, next door Indian restaurant served good food
In the middle of no where, if you want to have a drink with your meal you are limited to the Indian restaurant next door. Turned up at 5pm, the room door was held open by a coat hanger, the bed was unmade, big hand print on the mirror, shower gel stains on the wall in the bathroom, shower curtain was dirty and the paid for wifi was slow and kept dropping out
Overall good value for money. Have stayed there before and will again
Got about 8 channels on freeview at start of evening but after an hour all but one disappeared with message showing no signal.
Bed was comfy
Coffe stains down the wall, pubic hair in beds, horrible smell in the room and found a pill behind the toilet and as I have a 1year old I found that discussing to find pills lying around
Easy check in. Great sized room with good bathroom. Coffee making facilities. Good sized wardrobe/hanging space plus a sofa. Free view TV.
Duvet is super heavy weight winter tog. Too warm. Hotel is right on a busy dual carriageway so opening the window is not really an option if you're a light sleeper. Lighter duvet/blankets would be good.
Location is good side road to Nottingham city Very clean room Beside good restaurant
Wifi signal was very weak and wont connect to most handheld devices iOS or android. For those whos like indian food make sure to order a mild dishes from the restaurant near to the hotel, we ordered one masala chicken which was mix of fired chillies we couldn't even tase it!
Specification of a travel lodge with the added bonus of the next door restaurant which serves excellent breakfast and the evening meal is a treat for curry lovers.
How excellent it is and how pleasant the staff are. Also the location and how quite area it is and it's brilliant valve for money
You to do like a membership cards as I stay at hotel regerally and have wifi free for an hour or so and some more snacks but prices lower
After making the booking the hotel contacted me direct and commmicated very quickly. Staff very friendly and for once having that old fashioned personal touch made it worth while.
The room was very comfortable, the bed gave a good nights sleep. The room was quiet and it was excellent value for money
Not the hotels fault but google maps seemed to show the location as being in Syston
