Toilet was leaking so floor was all wet and all but 2 bulbs were working in room but otherwise room was good
opposite the railway station easy stroll into the center of town.
Showers at the time not working due to a hotel revamp. Note on shower door to tell us so but no discount on the bill to compensate. If booking check at the time. minor grump but good value will use again
Bed was satisfactory. Breakfast was acceptable.
Shower room dirty, loo seat moved about, door was dirty. Sink mirror light defective. Room entrance was streaked with marks. Table lamp in room was inoperative. We will NOT be going back. All of this was reported.
size of the room, good bed and facilities
single glazed sash windows, noise from the road in morning, the glaze could be replaced with double/triple glaze unit , would cut a lot of noise down alot
Used the place as a base to visit family so only really slept and had breakfast there.
Plumbing system was being upgraded, did work though.
The character features. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Convenience.
Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits
Shower water was absolutely freezing
Good location, fiendly staff, great old fashioned 3 bar pub
trains to Canterbury are not as frequent as you might like - check timetables
The restaurant was superb
Bed, room are all excellent
WiFi code was wrong, but I didn't have the energy to go back down and ask.
Relaxed and friendly.
As the name suggests, miss near the Railway station. A bit of train noise.
Close to high street and brewery, parking.
We received a very warm welcome. The ladies who greeted us were fab - even showing us where we could get more tea and coffee making supplies if required. The location is great - 2 min walk into the main town and 6 mins from the brewery! Breakfast was yummy too
There was a male staff member who wasn't so friendly - accused me of illegally parking in the car park and when explained that we were guests there barely even appologised!
Bed Room Sofa Food Drink Peace Very happy
Shower took ages to warm up, but once it did, I was happy.
loads of pubs in faversham
leaking shower dirty toilet pipes above mould lack of milk for coffee or tea noisy shower tiny bathroom cold and wrong price quoted asked me for more on arrival
Loved the fact we had a very good selection of tea and coffee making facilities. My partner only drinks hot chocolate as a hot drink and there was some there without request. The bathroom was very well lit and it was a nice quiet nights stay. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The light in the main room was very dull. The tv had no signal. Thd kettle had to be held down to boil and the shower kept turning off and on with the temperature going from hot to cold. There was a sign on the shower door with apology about the heat of the water as they were making changes to the water system. If we were staying longer I would have asked for a different room
Staff friendly, room and 3 window aspect bedroom very nice - good size, breakfast excellent appreciated the individual coffee carafes
OK , maybe paint could do with a bit of a spruce up but overall no complaints. .
Great location friendly staff comfortable rooms and great value breakfast
Big comfortable room above a pub. Right across the street from station.
location, could leave car in car park all day , before meeting
I had to go back down stairs to get wifi password, no remote for tv in room, and light in bathroom didn't work. I know it's a budget room and understand but these are basic standards
very good location opposite train station excellent staff - really helpful good value for money free shower gel/shampoo
outside of pub could be off putting to some travellers
Location was good, room was clean
Room extremely dated especially the bathroom it was horrible! A lot if noise in the evening till very early hours from traffic and people socialising
We were welcomed by friendly staff, and the location was perfect. Free parking and wifi a bonus. The room was plenty big enough with adequate storage, tea, coffee, hot chocolate in room was plentiful and refilled daily.Shower gel, hand wash and body lotion better quality than most inexpensive hotels. Bed really comfortable and room surprisingly quiet despite being opposite station and on a main road. A traditional pub with great beer.
Shower a bit hit and miss, took a while to run hot, but there was a notice explaining plumbing was undergoing work so hopefully issues will be resolved soon. Also black marks on shower cubicle ceiling.
Proximity to the railway line and easy access into the town. I had visited this hotel a number of times and had been impressed by the room, the service and the staff members who were so helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. On this occasion, all had changed.
The room, at the opposite side than before and too small for a double room. No room for a chair or a bedside cabinet. The noise from the pub was unbelievably loud and machinery from the central heating kicked in loudly. Prices had increased and breakfast was not included. Not enough room to say all. I won't ever go there again
Good location. Not noisey from railway line at all.
