Hotel Crewe is very comfortable and clean. The rooms are modern and well equipped. The bathroom has a shower instead of a bath but that is not problem. All incidentals are provided i.e. a plentiful supply of towels, shower gel, soap, shampoo, body lotion and even a shower cap. The beds are comfortable and roomy with extra pillows available. The staff are courteous and helpful. The location of the hotel is not ideal in that it is directly opposite McDonalds drive thru which makes access difficult at busy times, both locations sharing the same stretch of drive. However, once through the McDonalds queue, parking is plentiful.

The location was good for access to all main routes across Northern England. I arrived on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was closed at 6pm offering only bar service which was very slow and the food was not hot enough!

Clean, modern, friendly, lift to all floors, adequate parking, nice bathroom & shower, roomy well-appointed bedroom. The bedroom was rather dark because of the relatively small window, the dark net curtain and the tall trees close outside.

Room very clean and comfortable, good decor. Smell from kitchens. Food awful, husband had food poisonng for 3 days afterwards. My food sent back due to large human hair wrapped round the dry lamb tikka,no idea what happened to the sauce. 1 Member of staff behind bar handling food etc so very slow as she dudnt seem to have 1st clue what she was doing and short changed us twice as well as doing it to other guest we noticed. Receptonist handled the gripe over the water being shut off the following day well. We were promised a £20% refund on our card due to this which didnt arrive.

The hotel had obviously undergone a recent refurbishment and had been very well done. Boutique style, in a central location and excellent value for money. We were very impressed and would certainly recommend and stay there again.

Nice spacious room and good amount of parking available. Reception staff were friends and enjoyed breakfast! :) We didn't have any toiletries in our bathroom and assumed that they were not part of the standard room service but upon checking out found out that there should have been toiletries.

Staff that didn't ask about how I would pay for my Hotel and also that they take approximately £200 more of what the room costs and freeze it without asking the customer if the want it so or if not. Overall the staff and manager could be a bit more helpful, polite and learn more English. Overall a bad place.

Not a lot rooms too hot, when I put aircon on it was muchtoo noisy, I used the iron in the room and it blew all the electrics as the iron was faulty. The hotel restaurant is an Indian, I like Indian food but was not expecting this. The hotel and rooms smell of curry all the time. The breakfast on Saturday was not good you couldn't cut through the bacon, black pudding or sausage it was so tough, the tea was stewed. Not a good experience. Will not stay there again

Staff very friendly and helpful (reception). The room was spotlessly clean and very well supplied with tea, coffee, milk and various toiletries. Location fine as only 5 minutes from the station. We had a balcony which was nice apart from the fact that we were overlooking McDonalds. Would definitely stay again We were charged an extra £10 for a room with a balcony although we hadn't asked for one. What we had requested was a top floor room, and this happened to have a balcony. Not much of a complaint really - just think we should have been told when we rang up to request it.

Room design with separate desk area was ok No fridge in room. Tv did not work. Room size was small for the money. In error the maid removed our own cups from room. Not sure why the room is classed as 'executive'.

As we were attending a function nearby, the location was ideal. The hotel provided us with everything that we needed for a one-night stay. The room was very clean and comfortable with a very nice bathroom/shower along with a good range of accessories. Parking was plentiful and safe. The price was very reasonable. It was very quiet and even with the McDonalds next door there was no disturbance for a Saturday night whatsoever. (I think also the fact that we only spotted four other guests during our stay may have been a factor) Breakfast buffet in my opinion could have, and should have been better; it was let down by the temperature of some of the food. Plates should have been kept on a warmer, which might have helped. (I was fortunate to obtain some hot/fresh food when it was being restocked from the kitchen) The bread (for toast) was pretty boring and obviously cheap, as was the cold tasteless orange juice. The tea and coffee were quite frankly disgusting in my opinion. It also took me four (4) attempts to get a cup/mug without a crack in it. The table cloth bore the stains of a previous meal. Had I been paying extra for breakfast I would have been seriously unhappy. In answer to the question below I am ticking 'yes' but I would make sure that I knew exactly why somebody wanted to stay there.
